What should have been a simple customer-service issue allegedly escalated when the attendant came from behind the counter and physically confronted her, resulting in injuries. There are many ways an employee can handle a disagreement: call a manager, contact the police, or simply walk away. Putting your hands on a customer and attempting to settle a dispute with your fists is completely unacceptable. What makes this situation even more upsetting is that my sister reportedly tried to defend herself once she was physically confronted. Instead of the situation being treated as an employee-customer incident that needed to be investigated, she was told that because she fought back, both parties were considered at fault. If there is surveillance footage, I strongly believe it should be reviewed so the entire incident can be understood from beginning to end--not simply based on who fought back. Customers should be able to stop for gas without worrying that a disagreement with an employee could turn physical. A pump dispute should never become a physical confrontation. I sincerely hope Chevron takes this incident seriously, reviews the circumstances, and addresses what happened appropriately. Employees should be trained to de-escalate conflicts--not use physical force to resolve them.

Open 24/7, and I might say 365 days a year, this location has a tunnel car wash, a couple of stand-alones that dispense water & air, plus a vacuum. Outside of the convenience store, they have a machine for bags of ice and another for propane tanks. Speaking of convenience, their store is stocked with a variety of snacks and other products. At times, wine and cigars have been sold, but in all honesty, I didn't leave my vehicle today to confirm that they still do. In addition to beer and other bottled beverages, fruit, and on-the-go bites, they sell baked goods and espresso.
