Custom egg omelet with applewood bacon strips.
    Scott W.

We were looking for a hot cup of coffee and quick bite to eat before heading home for the evening and decided on Wawa. Silver Star road can be a little rough at times but I don't get that vibe at this Wawa. The staff is super friendly and the store is clean/organized just like any other Wawa. The coffee options and quality of the brew was on point! Any size coffee is just a $1. My wife ordered the Custom Roast Beef Flat ($2.21) and medium Chicken Noodle Soup ($3.79). I ordered the Custom Egg Omelet with applewood smoked bacon ($3.49). Our food was delicious! I know I could cook it better but it was pretty dang awesome for a convenience store meal. I really appreciate having Wawa as a viable option vs going to a restaurant for dinner. The food is consistent and you can feed two people a "great" hot meal for less than $20 and still have change to buy other snacks. I look forward to seeing other convenience stores following in the same path. Even so, it will be hard to compete with what Wawa has going on.

Spilt Milkshake! Please refrain from handing me a milkshake with ice cream dripping down the outside of the cup.

On this visit I ordered a milkshake. The employee came around the counter to physically hand me the prepared milkshake. I immediately noticed that the outside of the cup was dripping ice cream. Then something else suddenly happened. I went to the food service counter and sat the milkshake down onto the counter so I could clean my hands and attempt to clean off the outside of the cup. NEXT! ... Split milkshake! Lesson be learned!!

Hoagiefest! Hoagiefest! Hoagiedest! Man you cannot go wrong with one of these delicious subs. When you go to make your choice they have a selection of hoagies from different parts of the country. Go ahead and be adventurous and try one of those, I promise you will not regret it. On a recent trip I tried a hot Italian hoagie with several different kinds of peppers. It was the shizzle! Go ahead and give it a try.

Closed sign, I've encountered this at least four times in the last year.

Place is always dirty, very very dirty restrooms. Kitchen prep are that is visible is typically dirty as well. Parking lot is filthy, amazing how fast this place turned into a run down gas station. Today they just put closed signs up and locked the doors, supposed to be 24 hour business. You can only depend on this place to be dirty, all else is a gamble. Place no longer feels safe, cheap gas prices do not outweigh a clean safe establishment. Feels like a good place for crime

Tiny hole in the wall but once you're inside there is a very nice amount of seating, both tables and a barstool area to sit at. I placed an order and proceeded to sit at the bar area and wait for my food. Once it came out (super fast despite how many people were there), I understood why the sandwiches here are a little on the pricier side. The Ya-Mon which is jerk chicken, sweet plantains, pork rinds, jalapeno pesto, mango jam, gouda, jerk lime mayo, was heavenly. All the flavors blended in perfectly and the bread was so soft. The lime mayo was outstanding! It was about $16 and we'll worth every penny. The staff was super friendly and got everything cooked and sent out to each table very quickly. I will say if you come here during peak times, be ready to take the order to eat in your car or somewhere else because the tables filled up insanely fast while I was here!

The sandwiches are really creative and actually taste good which says a lot - I feel like most places with this style over-do it. Kind of reminds me of New York City bodega subs but with a twist. Beer selection is solid too, plenty of options to pair with whatever sandwich you may get. Makes for a good sit down lunch with a beer. I do wish their patio had more coverage though, great little outside seating area but often the sun is beating down on you and that sucks.

I ordered the Big version of the Prime Beef sandwich thinking I'd take half home for leftovers. Unfortunately the 1st have was so darn delicious, I ate the 2nd half. Yes, I'm uncomfortably full now but due entirely to my lack of discipline . The sandwich shocked me how good it was. We used to love Quizno's toasted subs but they have been long gone. So glad to see a toasted sub place again. The wife ordered same sub - original size, and loved it too. We will definitely be back again and again to try different options.

I stopped in after doing some shopping and placed my order online so it would be ready by the time I finished. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and a Dream Bar. It was after 8 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty much empty. My order was ready ahead of the quoted pickup time, which I appreciated. However, the sandwich didn't quite live up to what I remember. The bread didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and the sandwich was lukewarm instead of warm and toasty like I've experienced at other locations. The Dream Bar was also not quite what I remembered. It didn't have the same richness or taste that made it a favorite for me in the past. I'm not sure if the time of day impacted the quality, but the overall experience just didn't match the Potbelly I remember from Chicago. That said, because I've had great experiences with this brand in the past, I'd be open to giving this location another try. When you walk in you are greeted by all the friendly staff, who are all eager to help. The shop itself looks like it has all the original furniture and definitely gives old school vibes which i personally find charming. You place your order at the counter and by the time you finish ordering your sub is ready. We had to wait a few extra minutes for our onion rings but that was because they were frying them fresh. My husband ordered the 8inch Regular Sub which is just another way of saying an Italian sub and I ordered a 6inch Cheesesteak Sub with a side of onion rings. The regular sub was packed with cold cuts and sprinkled with hots peppers. The sandwich tasted fresh and those peppers added great flavor to the sandwich. The cheesesteak was tender and had the perfect amount of cheese. The cheesesteak was so good I regret only getting it on a 6inch roll instead of an 8inch. The onion rings were big and crispy. I liked that when you bit into the onion rings all the onion didn't fall out. On both subs the bread was so pillow soft and fresh. Now that I know they have quality food I would like to comeback and try their wings with fries and wraps. Gabriel's is definitely a spot I need to return to.

One of the best sub places in Central Florida if you ask me.

The inside is just as nice as the outdoor area but with the comfort of good A/C and good vibes. As expected, we know going into these food stalls that the prices will be premium due to the expected high rent that these places probably pay. So when we saw waffle sandwich bar, we thought the prices seemed reasonable. The brisket melt waffle sandwich looked reasonable at $18. With taxes and the service fee that all restaurants charge at the hall, it came out to $20. We were expecting a generous based on the price, but we were extremely disappointed with the 3 slices of chopped brisket in the sandwich, and the small size of the waffles. The flavor was good but I'm worried this place won't be able to survive as I am usually pretty forgiving with restaurants but I had to be honest about our experience here. I hope if they continue charging these prices that they'll be a bit more generous with their portion size going forward.

My Italian grandparents would take me to the market every weekend and we'd buy cannolis and deli meat and Italian cheeses to prep for different Italian dishes. Parking can be a challenge at times, and the interior can feel tight and overwhelming if there's a crowd of guests waiting.
