Decided to get hoagies because it's the Wawa annual hoagiefest when most hoagies are $6 for a classic size hoagie. This year however they have extended that savings to other sandwiches and wraps! I decided to get a Classic 10 inch Italian hoagie on a whole wheat roll. I asked for the roll only to be slightly toasted. My choice of ingredients were : Mayo, Pepper Jack Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, pickles, salt, pepper and oregano. The meats that Wawa uses is Ham and Salami - both were a decent amount on the roll. It was a very tasty hoagie for only six dollars! I also ordered a medium size Chicken Noodle soup to go with it. The aroma was so scrumptious smelling when I took the lid off. Broth was great and the container was loaded with a great amount of chicken meat and dutch style egg noodles. It also had pieces of celery and carrot. Very comforting. For dessert I had one of my guilty pleasures - a soft pretzel! This thing was huge! Salted just right and all I did was put it in my air fryer for three minutes to warm it up which made it a little crispy. It was very good especially with yellow mustard on the side. We will definitely go back for another sandwich before their hoagiefest ends - I might try one of their club sandwiches next! I highly recommend to try their sandwiches especially during their annual hoagiefest and don't forget to sign up for their rewards card - save up enough for free food - even a hoagie! LOL read more

My dad mentioned Wawa sandwiches and how much he frequents their deli. Knowing this, I had to make a stop. Food: this place is huge. It has a deli inside the gas station quickie mart. I didn't think this was a thing- but it's a thing. I ordered my sandwich on a kiosk and then paid at the main cashier. The deli sees the order is paid for and will call your ticket number when it's ready. The Turkey sandwich was good but a bit overstuffed with meat and the bread/cheese/coldcut ratio was off. Service: if you order at the kiosk (machine) in the store it takes 10 minutes to get you sandwich. Beverages are self serve in the store. Unless you order a milkshake. They looked good! Overall, the gas station and quick service market are clean and easy to use. The sandwich ticket must be paid for at the register before picking it up. The staff look for the receipt. It took me a minute to figure out their payment protocol (rules). I thought the customer picked up the sandwich then checked out. Eventually, when the lady wouldn't release the sandwich I realized I needed to get the receipt. Maybe better signage would assist first time in store customers on payment protocol (rules). I will go back again to try a milkshake in the future. read more

We were in Hernando visiting family and my boyfriend had never been to a Wawa so we stopped to get him a hoagie. Let's just say he was extremely happy with it!! They also had Tastykakes which made my day since I grew up in PA but don't find them often on the west coast. The place was very clean and had a great selection of everything! Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State. Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge. But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers. Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub at a discounted price. Truly a good deal. So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). BEWARE!! Wawa places excessive holds on credit card purchases. Filled up RV and they placed a $1,000 hold on a $250 purchase! Purchase $61 of fuel for my car and they placed a $147 hold on my account. They are floating this money illegally. WaWa. Pizza...I ordered a 14" pizza. No where on order machine did it tell me I would get 1-2 toppings. Sadly, their pizza sucked. It was burnt. Will go tomorrow to try and get my $$$ back. Wow this place is amazing, we did not go to the grand opening. But we when the next day and it still was 20 minute wait for the $5 hoagie but it is worth the wait. Had a large coffee (dark roast) could not make up my mind on all the flavors. Oh yea free coffee helped. This is the first one in Citrus County and we are pleased to have them, will have 2 soon. There food bowls are great, chicken quesadilla, but one of the best is there meatball hoagie. But they truly do have almost anything you need in the store. read more

This gas station/convenience store offers freshly made food to order, and has a huge selection of everything you could want. This is my fav spot for coffee too. Always enjoy the hoagies from Wawa from our trips to Philly where you had to go to have one. So glad they have expanded down to Florida. One thing would be positive if you got rewards for gas purchases as well. Use the app to make order for lunch. it definitely helps with the wait for food being made. I like getting my fuel at this location because the premium 93 octane is pretty reasonable. However the food and menu items are wayyy overpriced. The food is ok.. It would be better if they actually had meal deals. Me and my partner each got a $6 combo sandwich and soup. We are so glad the Lecanto Wawa finally opened. I am from Pennsylvania so I expect to see Wawa's everywhere. It's everything it was in P A and more!! Don't try to pay with cash for gas, you'll be wondering which line to get into. And when you do get in one of four lines, you'll find that it takes a good 20 minutes to get fueled up and go. Gross food, long waits and horrible customer service. read more

Waited for a WAWA for years and this one does not disappoint. Sandwiches, soup, coffee, snacks, gas, etc. I am in a wheelchair and every time I go there one of the staff always helps if they are not terribly busy. Never had that in any other convenience store in the area. Highly recommend you give them a try. 10 stars if I could. read more

Great gas station, "BUT", Don't use your debit card here. My debit card information was stolen at this station. At first I thought it was just mine, then a post on my neighborhood portal confirmed that it also stole several of my neighbors debit cards information and pins as well and they had gone inside the store to pay. Being this was a brand new station, I never would have thought This would happen. My bank cut up my debit card and Fed Ex'd me a new one, but the damage was done. My bank told me that someone could have hacked Wawa's system. Obviously their security is lax. If you do business here, use only cash. read more

The breakfast sandwiches at 2 for $4 are awesome, 10x better than McDonald's. I also had a signature bowl which was very tasty and filling, not bad for $7 when you consider the prices of fast food these days.
