Service is butt i took like 10 kids to an ice cream place with my friend and when we went in there the kids were ordering obviously, but it was kind of all at a time because they were so excited. They ended up getting mad and yelling at me and my friend us to get out we got ice cream, but we couldn't even pay yet. They have good ice cream. Just the service is horrible. read more

We came across this ice cream shop randomly and decided to check it out. There's many flavors to choose from whether you like ice cream or sherbet. There's also a number of toppings and candies you can purchase. The best part was the view! It was right next to the pier where the manatees swim. Went by today to get some ice cream. Tried to call first to make sure they were open due to the Covid-19 issues. The phone rang and rang and rang some more. No voicemail. Just ended up going to a fax line. So we decided to go check it out and see what was what. Upon arrival it was clearly closed. There was a sign saying they were closed, only one saying they are taking to go orders only. Not one word about what hours were and since we went during their normal business hours how are we supposed to know when we can come by and place a to go order? Oh and nothing posted on their website about any changes either. Very poor communication. I like their ice cream, but probably won't go back since there is no excuse for the lack of information. Ice cream is good , staff is friendly BUT last week I fell out the door face first . I scuffed both knees, had to remove my wedding ring because my finger swelled up and was so sore the next day I felt like I was hit by a bus. We went back tonight but I know this is a reoccurring issue. My hope is to see this issue resolved somehow or maybe stand up signs or bigger signs. The one leaving is tattered and torn up and small. I'm thankful I didn't fall down the stairs or tear my ACL again. I fear for an elderly person who could break a hip and that could result in a life changing injury. Please make this as a priority. As a business owner I'm rating this so your rating doesn't change but in hopes the owner reads this. read more

It's hard to hate on an ice cream store it's a pretty simple place to run. There's stairs out front, a ramp for handicapped on the side. We walked over from staying at the Paddle tail inn (best western) & it was about a 10 min walk if that allong the road. Reasonable prices and scoop size was great for 1 scoop for me. They have a small outside deck, 1/2 of it was blocked off because it does look not very safe. But you can always go back down stairs and enjoy down there. read more

Sure there are plenty of flavors, but this is really bad ice cream. I tasted 2 flavors and did not even get any because it was so bad. My husband got a cookies and cream in a cone and actually tossed it in the trash a few minutes later as both the ice cream and cone were so bad. I like to give local business my money - but in this case - don't bother. read more

Took my wife to Dockside Ice Cream today only to find out first hand they do not care about hygiene. My wife ordered a single scoop in a bowl & the spoon was stuck inside the ice cream with a decent size hair attached. We made sure to tell the guy behind the counter & all he could do was give us a new spoon instead of properly disposing the contaminated product. Will certainly take my business elsewhere. read more

My grandkids always beg to,go to get the best icecream ever they say. I can honestly say I feel they are correct yummy icecream and its at a good price . Nice locally owned and open kinda late for icecream (9pm) so when we visit Crystal River and have been swimming all day its nice to be able to watch the sunset and have icecream. read more

Staff was very welcoming and nice. My friends and I got the raspberry sorbet and cake batter. Flavors were very good and plentiful however they questioned my friends peanut allergy. Should work on more seating outside, it was sparse. Wish they had more vegan options but overall it was a very pleasant visit. I'm happy supporting local businesses. read more

I'm sorry, but the attitude of who I think is the owner and her employee were so incredibly rude. Not only was she a smart ass the whole time she has posted all over literally all over NO DOGS and wears a cat shirt. On top of that, they keep the bathroom locked for customer use only... me and another woman were standing there waiting to use the bathroom and when we asked like what was going on if they keep it locked and she goes "I don't know maybe we do sometimes" finally she came and unlocked it. It's sad cause this little ice cream shop has so much potential and it's located in a great spot. Also my ice cream had like ice chunks in it as if it was melted and re-froze. read more

Serving over 30 flavors of Hersey's ice cream, this place beats a chain ice cream store any day. Prices are good, $5 for a 2-scoop waffle cone is pretty competitive. The ice cream was a bit softer than normal, and the waffle cones are slightly flimsy, but still satisfying. We're in town for a couple of days, and I expect we will be back. read more

I love supporting small businesses. That and I love the location. That is the only reason I come back here. My daughter loves it because she of course loves ice cream and she loves the desk outside overlooking the water. That's the only reason I like it is because it's on the water. They have a fairly decent selection of ice cream. My daughter always gets the Superman. A favorite amongst kids I bet because it's every color in the color wheel and gets very messy lol. But she loves it and that's all that I care about. The milkshake I got was thrown out after 3 sips. It was very runny and tasted like melted ice cream. Not thick at all. The view is gorgeous. The customer service is terrible. My daughter is 7 so I let her order her own things now. I guess we aren't fast enough because every time we go in there they rudely sigh at us. One of the staff is apparently hard of hearing (not making fun or judging) but it was obvious. I repeated myself 4 times before she heard me clearly. Which again, is not her fault but she was very rude about it and even shouted WHAT at one point. Overall, it's a decent place but I strongly suggest if the owner reads these than to work on your customer service. read more
