We hurried on out and made it a few minutes before they closed. Twistee Treat is located in a standalone building at the front of a shopping complex. There is plenty of parking, and we had no issue finding a spot upon arrival. You will have no problem locating it, because it is literally a giant ice cream cone! This is a walk up stand, so no indoor seating, but there are plenty of tables and benches on the patio for you to use. Loved the atmosphere at this place. It is fun and inviting with all of the colors, and of course with the ice cream cone building. It seems like a lot of young people come here to hang out, and bring some energy to the space. The lights were fun to see as well, since it was dark. We came here on a Monday in July, and arrived about 10 minutes before they closed. There was still a line, but I believe we were one of the last to order for the night. The line went fast, and we were waited on in just a matter of minutes. My fiancé had previously visited this spot, but it was my first time. I took some time to look over the menu, and man they have a great selection here! It is soft serve, but they make several different concoctions and novelty items that keep it interesting. Most menu items have "signature" options, but everything seems to be customizable if you want to make your own treat. Even with the novelty items, it seems like everything is made to order. I noticed when we received the one Twisters that was supposed to have brownies, they were missing. I asked one of the girls at the window if we could just get a cup of them on the side, and she was apologetic for the situation and more than willing to give a cup of the brownies. I appreciated the customer service and willingness to rectify the situation, even when they were starting to work to close for the night. I thought the prices were very reasonable. You definitely get your money's worth with anything that you order. As said, portions and topping amounts are plentiful and generous. I believe our bill for the three items was around $16 or $17 dollars. Overall, I was extremely impressed with my first trip to Twistee Treat. It has a great ambiance, menu, and the service was top-notch. Would be a great spot to stop on a date night or with the family. The hours are also great - it seems like there is not a ton open late night anymore, but at times this place is open until 11:30 PM.
