Cute shop in a small town but WAY too expensive!! $15 for a banana split & $10 for a small sundae? No thx!

There is a smell of too much bleach and cleaning products when you first walk in, and yes a food place should feel and look clean but there is so much being used in the way of product it actually burns your nose. They serve Herseys ice cream, which is a good quality ice cream, and your in and out so you should be able to tolerate the chemical smell. Don't count on friendly staff, your interrupting important gossip, but it's the only ice cream parlor in the area so take it as it is. read more

The ice cream is good and the prices are high, but my problem is I came in today and I was barely wanting to get ice cream, but I was wanting to be in a good mood and I go inside. They don't have what I want so I just for what they have which isn't a problem I go and pay near $11 for a regular size shake, they asked me what flavor I want. I told them what flavor I want. The grass asked me if I want a cherry and whipped cream. I tell her yes she goes and makes the shake in a split second another cashier goes and brings me up I look at the shake. It has no whipped cream in it. I grab it. I don't even walk 3 feet with it in my hand after looking at it to which I hey I don't have any cream or cherry in this She goes and tells me that she's not allowed to give me anymore because I grabbed the shake. Keep in mind I didn't drink I did nothing and she asked me if I wanted it on the side I wanted it on my the least you could've done after fuckg up it's been like let me fix that for you. We've visited this location a couple times now with the same great results. Cleanliness: Always clean. Quantity: I ordered 2 scoop on a cone and they were very large scoops!!!! Quality: Their cones are nice and crispy (not left out to get stale). The scoop ice cream is and always has been very good quality. Very very tasty! Staff: Always very nice and welcoming. Hitting the highway is always fun for us. And finding new sweet spots is, well, pretty sweet! Riding shotgun was my Fab One, and she had a 'crazing' for some ice cream. We were headed home from Ocala and our next exit was the Bushnell exit. I told her I'd seen this little place there so let's give it a shot! She agreed heartily! We were happily greeted by Alexandria! She made us feel welcome, then she made us some cool treats. Fab One got a ooey gooey Hot Fudge Sundae, with whipped cream and topped with a cherry, of course! I loved seeing my Hot one enjoying this hot/cold concoction. I know that look of 'satisfied'. I was going for a tried and true Banana Milkshake, when Alexandria asked if I wanted Chocolate OR Vanilla ice cream? Imagine all these years I've always just had Vanilla! It never dawned on me to go with Chocolate! I split the difference and had her create a magnificent milkshake with Chocolate AND Vanilla......it was SUPERB! My eyes bugged out when I saw the size of their SUPER Straws, too! These things are huge! Like a piece of PVC pipe! THAT definitely helped when slurping up that Alexandria magic milkshake with those big pieces of banana in it....I was in awe of the straw! Ok Ice Cream. My daughter ordered a blue raspberry. Slushy took one sip of it and said it tasted like chemicals and very artificial. I told the lady and said we really don't want it and she said I have to charge you for it if it was the ice cream that they purchased, but a slushy which has such a low food cost. Ice cream, soft serve other cool treats . Yummy stuff. I can honestly saw I have always experienced nice employees..they are usually short handed. Often teens...but some of them work really hard. With being shirt handed..often there's a wait. Just don't be rushed. You can have your faves on the menu. It rotates...don't get attached to having it every time . But you can find something you will like. Cash is preferred as their is a fee with a card. There is a drive thru. Neat and tidy place. I haven't seen it dirty. read more

The service is awful and they tried to tell us they ran out of milk?! We were turned away twice being told they were closing. Once was an hour away from them closing and the second time we were turned away at 5pm when it says they close at 9 pm. Never going back!!! read more

Don't ever stop here. The wait is ridiculously long! We were behind someone else and waited over 10 minutes for them to make two milkshakes for the people in front of us. I'm shocked that they have a sign on the interstate directing you to this business because they are way too slow and if you're in a hurry then there's no reason to stop. read more
