This will be my second revision to this review. My wife and I are regulars to this ice cream shop, as we stop in once or twice a week for our one scoop waffle cones. The first time, we didn't get any ice cream, because they only accepted cash and the second time, we brought their preferred payment method, but they didn't have rocky road. Since that time, I have settled on my favorite of Coconut Almond Fudge and my wife, Capuchino Chip, which we have stuck to since that time and only had issues with the first flavor when the product had not been mixed well enough to provide a combination of the three flavors, instead being more one sided than another. Over the past couple months, we have noticed the owners have not been present, at least during our visits and the service has fallen to the waist side, as the majority of their workers either do not put any ice cream in the cone, causing it to fall off into your lap, which creates an issue when driving home, or they refuse to provide you with the amount shown on the display. We have found this to be the issue with many establishments, as of late. A lack of consistency will force customers to look elsewhere to serve their needs. The one time we mentioned the size of the scoop, the lady behind the counter stated she put a lot of it in the cone. We find it tedious having to argue with an employee who we have personally seen stealing samples when her coworkers were in the back. Harsh to say, but I guess that is why she is overweight. Since then, we have decided to limit our visits. Now I know that a couple cones on a bi-weekly visit won't affect their business much, but hope they correct the issue so we may, once again, continue our visits and enjoy the product we have come to love. read more

Love their chocolate raspberry truffle and in a pinch, their vanilla raspberry truffle ice cream. Staff very nice. Sometimes I forget they are cash only, had to purchase smallest scoop or leave without! The ice cream is fresh and delicious with plenty of choices. Some outside tables to sit at as well. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is they just don't offer a lot of options except for a bunch of different flavors. They don't have a blizzard type treat. Scoops is an old time ice cream parlor serving up some delicious treats. The three of us came here the other night and were so impressed by this family run ice cream place. Everyone was so friendly and happy. I've taken several pictures of the inside. It really is a throwback ice cream parlor to another period.
