One of my favorite broccoli cheddar soups has to be the one from Wawa. They only have it one or twice a week, but it is definitely worth it when they do. Side tip: You can also get it whenever you want if you order a family size, You just have to wait till they make it. I usually get the tuna sandwich, and you can add all the toppings you want. Wawa has certainly expanded its presence throughout Florida and that is certainly good news for Floridians, but for Floridians who relocated here from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it was bringing a piece of home down here to the Sunshine State. Wawa is so much more than a simple gas station. Yes, it features a multitude of gas pumps offering competitive prices and I applaud them for offering air for your tires from an air pump that does not require a payment. Should be common sense, but most gas stations have decided that they can generate a few more dollars by charging people to put air in their tires. Wawa goes above and beyond in customer service by letting people get air without a surcharge. But for me and I would hazard a guess that endears Wawa to most of us is the food that they offer, mostly their subs (what they call hoagies due to their original locations). These subs, er, hoagies are freshly made 24/7 and many, myself included, have ended an evening festivities at a Wawa grabbing an end of the night snack in the form of one of their subs, hoagies, or whatever you want to call them. They have both hot and cold sub/hoagie things, as well as other foods like breakfast sandwiches, bagels, bowls, etc. I also have always liked their pretzels, available at the cash registers. Oh, speaking of their food, keep an eye out for Hoagiefest, where they offer any sub at a discounted price. Truly a good deal. So, yes, I recommend Wawa. I would almost climb a mountain to scream its praises for the four winds to carry to the far planets of this world (perhaps even going so far as to reach my home state of New Jersey). Wawa is just awesome!! Their hash browns are amazing and only a dollar (but they stop selling them after 11am and it makes me sad). Their coffee is really good too. Let's not forget their competitive gas prices, I mean that's why we go here, right? As much as I love 7-11, Wawa is coming in at a very close second. Especially this location. It is just like any other place in the area. It does not compare to the quality of business of the same name in the 535 area. They are slow and need to have some extra training. Missing items on menu, that's pretty bad. I was glad to see them in the area I hope it gets better. Counter and tables were dirty. Updated 5/24/14 upped one star. They are getting their groove back! This is the most ghetto wawa in town. Not like every other wawa I have ever been too. They lock the doors at certain times although is clearly says 24/7 on the door.!! The employees don't even have enough decency to explain as to why they're closed they see you knocking and won't even make eye contact. Almost every employee was pleasant, except for the girl working the smoothie/drink bar. I stood in front of the counter as I watched her make my drink but after every step, she would take her phone out to text. Blend the smoothie, text, get the cup out, text, pour the smoothie in the cup, text, take the lid out, text, put the lid on, text. After she sent another text she finally nonchalantly called my number. The whole exchange took about 5 minutes when it should have taken 2 at most. People who work in customer service and interact with customers should not be allowed to have their phones on the floor. read more

Wawa is one of our go to to's for a quick breakfast. I always have the ham, egg & cheese croissant. Yummiest. The ham is thin sliced, savory and plentiful. The cheese is mild but cheesy tasting. The egg is generous and cooked just right. The croissant is crisp but flaky. I also had French roast coffee with French Vanilla fat free creamer, great taste. The employees are friendly, as usual.
