The rolls are not great; there was hardly any tomato, lettuce and onion; the meat was not the capacolla, salami and prosciutto I expected. It was cheap generic sub meat. Gotta have my Wawa my boyfriend was from Jersey and always talked about wawas this is my first time on the east coast and first time at a Wawa. 1) Food: The selection is great offering a great selection of all your fan favorite, road trip necessities. Late night munchies, nostalgic nibbles or whatever. The hoagies /subs are good the pizza with the garlic bread crust isn't favorite so far 2) Service: It's cool to see so many people working the same shift. 7-11s back home are always short stafffed and completely lacking in customer service. 3)Ambience. identifiable Simple reliable Amenities Having a place that You know will have what you need wether it's food, service or it's amenities when your in some back country, cross country, a different county line or even a different state line seeing a Wawa just makes the journey just a little less anxious and a little more assuring. So many WaWa stores - they don't maintain the same integrity of staff. Usually friendly but often like every other retail experience - no one cares much if we're being served. The good thing is the consistency of products. Fresh and flavorful. Outstanding sandwiches - they have to be to compete in Philadelphia where I discovered WaWa 50 years ago. So grateful for this Wawa that we go to probably at least twice on every trip that we take to Cape May. Always attentive and friendly employees with quick check out. The store is always clean and easy to navigate and the self ordering computers are a breeze. Great to have this close by for when we need to pick up something quickly. Love going to places that have a Wawa. You can get your coffee, iced coffees, cold brews, etc. All made to order if you wish. Large variety of baked goods, chips, drinks, etc, you name it. The cream of the crop here is the deli counter. They make fantastic subs and you can customize them any way you want. It's surprising that a place like Wawa's can compete with the mom & pop deli's when it comes to making a sub sandwich. Color me impressed with the quality of their subs. My family and I made no less than five trips to Wawa during our stay in Cape May, and I for one, am happy this location was there, because they delivered every time! read more

Wawa is an ingenious design. They are a convenience store, fast food restaurant, and a coffee shop. They also offer sandwiches, soup, and much more! The food is amazing given how little the wait is. When hungry, and on the road, stop at Wawa! The customer service excels. I have had an order lost and as soon as they heard, an employee immediately started to make it. I love Wawa, and this is my second favorite Wawa ever, and it's not a Super Wawa. It's just a regular Wawa with nice staff members, clean interior, cheap eats and convenience. If you need it, they have it. And if they don't have it, well go somewhere else. This Wawa gets busy in the summer around lunchtime when everyone converges on it at the same time, but they handle it well and if you keep your cool (I've seen people LOSE it in the line in the height of summer) you will get out of here with your food and a smile from the staff. read more

Staple of the shore. Always a great place to stop for epic sandwiches at any time of the day. Always best at 4am though. This WaWa is conveniently located at the corner you pass when leaving Cape May. This is a great place to stock up on snacks when for your drive home. It tends to get packed during the day but so does every WaWa down the shore. Even if there is a line it always goes fast. read more

The staff here are ALWAYS accommodating, smiling, helpful and pleasant. A good, dependable, clean location where you can get just about anything you need. This review really should be 4.5 stars instead of 5 because they are no longer offering bags to customers (sometimes). Example: I went 2 days in a row. The first day I was asked if I wanted a bag as I was buying multiple items (no more plastic - paper only). The 2nd day I was there I did not need a bag, but the poor customer in front of me REALLY needed one (he was trying to carry hot drinks, cold drinks, sandwiches, a salad and I think chili or something like that, but it was definitely HOT) and was told they were out of bags. I think this is a new policy, but I can see it becoming a problem, especially for vacationers who may not be carrying reusable bags with them. I can also see someone trying to carry too much and dropping their order, which can be a big problem, especially it they spill hot items. read more

Well what can you say about a wawa, they are pretty much all the same and they're ok but this one in Cape May is a stand out in that it has the worst parking lot ever! Make sure your car insurance is paid up! And all the ding-dongs trying to jump in there and grab something quick and get out just make it worse and that's all I got. read more
