Great vibes from everything. So we started off with the Aloha Special (Combination Plate: Mochiko Chicken, Crispy Pork Belly, and Ono Shrimp. Mac Salad topped w/Kani Krab). Literally some of the best chicken I've had in my life. Part chicken katsu, part Korean fried chicken, just a really magnificent thing. Order this, please. The pork belly was nice and crispy and flavorful. The shrimp read a little too salty, though. If you're considering the shrimp, just be wary. The Surfside Sample (Combination Plate: Luau Pig, Beef Short Ribs and Ono Shrimp) was a little less impressive. If you have to choose between the combo plates, pick the other one. Pork was good, had a yummy, sticky sauce on top. The short ribs were good, too. Not too chewy or anything. And, the return of the shrimp. I also got the Spam Musubi (Spam with sweet sauce and rice, wrapped in Nori), because of course I had to. I will never see a musubi on a menu and not order it. This one was good. Standard. We had to manage with the two separate high top tables that were next to each other. We then got in line and waited our turns to order. Giang was amazing! He was patient and answered all our questions. He even gave some great recommendations. After we paid for our food, we got our buzzers and went back to the tables to wait. We didn't have to wait long. Once the buzzer alerted me that my order was ready, I went to the pick up area to get my food and drink. I had the Ahi and Avocado Inari. The Inari are stuffed Tofus with rice and selected protein. I also had the Salmon Poke Bowl. Giang had suggested the Lilikoi Passion Refresher which I got. The food was delicious and generously portioned. The salmon and Ahi were fresh and delicious. The Lilikoi Passion was refreshing. The popping boba was a great addition to the refresher. While enjoying the food, drinks and each other's company, a gentleman approached us and told us he stop in to Aloha Hawaiian Kitchen because he saw us as he was walking by and thought we were enjoying ourselves and the meal.
