The pumps worked fine and took pretty much every variety of card. It was quick and easy to refill our tank and get back on the road. They had several pumps so even though it was busy it was pretty easy to find at least one open pump so you didn't have to wait for anybody else. Overall: B Standard gas station. This is your typical downtown gas station. A bunch of thugs hanging out in front of the store, and no receipt paper in the pumps. No paper in the pump seems to be a major peeve me. This gas station is conveniently located on the corner of Gore and Orange. Unlike the 7-11 across the street, this gas station is much more logical for the flow of traffic, so you can grab gas and easily head towards downtown, I-4, or Delaney Park. Aside from the physical location, this Chevron is superior because of its prices and its service. The gas prices at this Chevron are usually some of the cheapest in the area, so there is even less incentive to drive anywhere else. While the inside grocery area isn't as big as a WaWa or 7-11, they have good prices for a gas station. The attendant, a younger guy, is very friendly and strikes a good balance for chattyness (i.e. he can hold a conversation, but he won't annoy you by talking your ear off). Overall, while places like WaWa and 7-11 offer more products, the service, prices, and location of this Chevron makes it one of the better gas stations in the Sodo area.

The staff here is extremely friendly and the interior and exterior is immaculate. There aren't many options in this rural setting so I'm sure the locals are very happy with its opening. There are lots of fuel pumps and plenty of parking with two separate entrances and exits, the interior is quite large and is fully stocked with all the drink and hot food options we've come to expect from 7-Eleven. This is definitely a store I'll stop in again when traveling through the area...

He advised me that they had purposefully set this up so that the pumps will not work to take payment so that people have to come inside so they can make more sales. I'll be avoiding this one from now on because when I'm in a hurry, I don't need to be standing in line behind people buying lottery tickets.

But if you're looking for the BP/Circle K that's closest to cranes roost, this is it. Location is great, in walking distance to cranes roost park. Today (3/10/22) they are installing brand new gas pumps. I used to come here on a near daily basis. They used to hold on to their employees really well and I could say to them by name and they would ask how things were going if they hadn't seen me in a while. It was nice to be noticed and missed, ngl. But, something has changed in the last 6-8 months and there has been a lot of turnover. This led to some problems. For example: The soda & ice machines weren't getting cleaned properly and that black gooey mold was coming out with the ice and there was some gross build up around the hole where the ice comes out. (Needless to say, I owe a thank you to them for kicking my soda habit. I'm a silver linings kind of gal, haha.) In all honesty that was a scary gross health hazard and I'm glad it has now been resolved. There is still a lot of turnover with employees so I am concerned these issues could get neglected again. Not sure what has caused the extreme turnover but glad things started moving in a positive direction again as far as cleanliness. I'm obviously not coming in daily anymore, but I'm hopeful to continue to see improvement. There has been some remodeling inside the store, and like I mentioned above, they are putting in new pumps today. They have cold beer to grab for your cooler for a beach day. They have lots of snacks. Need to air up your tires? I think it's $1.50 and the machine takes credit card because who has that many quarters on hand. Lol. Basically, despite the downhill turn this location was taking, they've now been turning things around in the right direction. I hope they can get back to normal soon and also maintain it....and I feel hopeful they will. Hence 3 stars. Once some time has passed and if they achieve this I'll update my review.
