Then another female stepped up and gruffly blurted out "you have to charge her for that!" So I replied with the question, I have to pay for something I didn't really want? To which she said " yes, it's not my fault!" Wow! I told her it wasn't my fault either, I wanted what it said was in the dispenser. So I asked the other girl; who I believe was new there; how much was it? She said .52 and being thirsty I paid. I then told the other one, she would serve herself well in her position to take a course in "Customer service and how to speak to people". She sarcastically responded with a nasty thank you ma'am have a good day ma'am repeating herself several times. A hateful horrible attitude from the beginning. I didn't expect any better but I wanted to let her know I was on to her hateful nasty attitude. People there have always been curteous and professional, this one however clearly hates her job and should be replaced immediately. She is really bad for your business. As I was going back to my car I was so grateful to the sweetest most precious little girl that rolled her window down and said hello with a giant smile. Completely immediately restoring my faith that there are still good in this world. All be it a 4 year old who hopefully never let's her loose her brilliance and kindness to people like this one hateful clerk. It's not about the money. It was completely her attitude.

When I arrived the fuel island was mostly occupied with big rigs fueling up before stating their day I attribute this to the lack of this type of service in the area which caused some chaos, add in a little impatience by those that are rushed to get in and out and you have somewhat of a quagmire in the making. After fueling my truck I moved out of harms way before going inside. I keep going back to the theme of this place, it definitely has a truck-stopish feel to it and that may just be because of the amount of big rigs loaded with building materials moving in and out of here. The crews are doing their last minute checks and grabbing a few foodstuffs and drinks before hitting the road. The staff are definitely morning people, I got a big smile and a cheerful good morning from both members of the team as I worked my way towards the back of the store looking for the water closet - it wasn't occupied and to my amazement was in pretty good shape with the amount of traffic passing through this C-Store at this hour. She's the type of employee that's pissed she has to work at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and projects that frustration on to you. And I've noticed her demeanor changes per customer who wears a mask vs. those who don't. She's more accommodating to maskless customers vs. those of us who mask up. The irony is she will tell everyone about her heart issues she's dealt with in the past. She's the worst. Not to mention the bathrooms usually have urine on the floor.
