Wawa is running a Michelin-adjacent, caffeine-powered chess gambit while smiling politely. The place is clean--suspiciously clean. Like someone's mom just walked through and said, "Absolutely not," and fixed everything. The coffee station alone has more options than most marriages. Hot, iced, sweet, bitter, existential--whatever flavor of despair or hope you're carrying, Wawa's got a button for it. The food? This isn't "gas station food." This is food that embarrasses restaurants with tablecloths. Hoagies that show up hot, correct, and unapologetic. I usually get a meatball sub and the meatballs here are always the perfect texture, heat and overall amazing! Their bread is also always soft and has a nice crunch when I ask for it toasted! The bathrooms here could be a little bit cleaner because whenever I come, there is usually toilet paper or towels on the floor that I have to step around. The gas is wonderful and usually on the cheaper end. I always feel like the gas from this location lasts longer in my tank then when I've filled up in other places in the area. We stopped here in the way to a restaurant downtown and we needed to fill up before the rain. I needed air in a tire and they had a pump that also had a vacuum. The air was $1.50 per use, same for vacuum. Many other stations are half that or free in the area, so not worth it. It also was in front of a spot that was a parking spot so I had to wait for someone to shop and back out before getting access to it. The husband used the men's bathroom and said it was gross. Dirty floor, no soap, just gross. Overall: C- With all the new gas stations popping up in the area as competition, this one does not bring their a game.
