Living near Jones Springs WV we have no choice for high speed internet. We had the service for over two years but it was a rough two years. When service was first established it was in October and service was great. Finally speeds faster than 2-3 maps. Occasionally we would lose service during inclement weather but I was still happy until spring hit. Our service was intermittent or not existent for long period. When someone finally came to diagnose the problem they advised me I would need to cut down 7-8 trees in my yard that blocked signal from the tower. In addition they advised they would install a different roof mount to elevate the receiver which of course I had to pay for. After cutting a swath through my yard they returned and decided they would lower the receiver to pick signal through a hole under the remaining tree canopy. As expected any benefit was temporary until the trees branched out more. Called them back up not only to get the $300 credit for the new mount I paid for but didn't get installed and to complain about intermittent signal again. After the games of doing random daily speed tests they came back out and installed a new mount again out of my pocket. By this point we had crept into the fall of the year and leaves were falling fast. Speeds we fairly normal with the occasional outage or slow down during inclement weather. Coming into the last year few months of service we hit spring/summer and he had slow downs to near dial-up speeds so when we called they opened a ticket and the random speed test was requested. Then we got a call and the technician advised that they had a problem with bandwidth to the tower. To rub salt in the wound later I found out they knew about the problem for about 30-60 days before I called. I was irritated because if the knew there was an issue they could have notified customers or maybe even provided a little credit since we pay over $100 a month for only partial service. I found out the starlink over a rv package that I could get without going on the waiting list and bought it. Two weeks later I had starlink at my residence and the service was awesome W2N speeds 2-12 MBPS which of course drops out from 1900-2300 every night. Starlink 70-100 MBPS and during inclement weather we still have service. Lost service once to 1.5 hours during severe t-storm but that's it. My son games online and constantly complained of disconnects and lag even when he is the only one online. Starlink no disconnects and the time he gets lag is during storms. This is the RV version in an area still waiting for full release of starlink service. Needless to say time to cancel W2N, issue #1 can't cancel online or over the phone you have to start a support ticket. #2 When asked why I want to cancel service I advised them of everything I previously stated minus the SL info. Then almost as soon as that communique was complete we got a call. It was the technician that would come out here and advised me of the tower bandwidth issue. He was very condescending and spoke to me as if I couldn't grasp the concept of bandwidth. He repeatedly told me I was wrong about the tower having bandwidth issues since the issue existed between their transmitter and the tower. I replied back to him that it doesn't matter where the issue was since it wasn't getting to me. Didn't matter he repeated the same crap I guess trying to get me to bend the knee to his towering intellect which didn't happen. Lastly I advised him that if there was anyway to reconcile any issues with W2N and myself that this conversation has burned that bridge. This company could be a decent ISP if you have a direct shot to their tower and most of their employees were polite and helpful. Just know that if you can afford it go starlink service is close in price with way better performance. Upfront cost was a out $300 for W2N and $500 for Starlink. W2N you rent the equipment and have to return it if you cancel. Starlink you own the equipment RV service is nice because we are also on the waiting list for home service and when we get it RV service can be paused until we need it when we go on the road. read more

My fiance and I recently moved out of the suburbs and were told by the previous owners our only option for internet was satellite from HughesNet. We signed up and immediately hated it! Thankfully, Rudy stopped by about a month and a half after we moved in to explain that the mysterious internet receiver in our field belonged to his company and was being used to route signal to our neighbors. If we agreed to allow the neighbors to continue using our field we could get the internet service for free! Who turns down anything free?? We are SO happy we switched! Rudy was fantastic during the install process and the service team at W2W has been amazing (we've only had to contact them a couple of times, one of which was an error on our part; the second time had to do with an IP address issue). They respond quickly and are patient if there is any troubleshooting to do. The speeds are fast and reliable and we have no data caps--the complete opposite of HughesNet! I really can't tell the difference between Wave2Net's service and the Xfinity service I had before. I'm not sure what happened with those other reviewers, but I can't say enough great things about the internet service, the customer service, and the company as a whole! read more

Just recently moved to the area. Moved from an area where we had 100 meg service. So we were stressing if we could get internet speeds that would work for what streaming etc that we do. Thanks to Wave2Net we have 20 meg service that is working very well. It took some time to get it in because we are on a newly installed antenna. Any time we called in the support and office personnel were excellent and courteous. I installed various types of high speed internet for years. I have seen the good/bad/and ugly of the business. I can say with confidence that Wave2Net has surpassed our expectations,and I would highly recommend them based on our experience. read more

I've been a Wave2Net customer for probably 5 years now and have generally been very pleased with their service. Their customer service is excellent. It's a small company and provides personalized service. Although I recently had some issues with connectivity and speed, they provided a service call and I had the same service person (Rudy) come out that I had for installation and an upgrade. It was nice to have the same person because he was familiar and I knew he provided excellent service from previous visits. My issues were resolved thanks to a team effort of tech support, their engineer, and Rudy. read more

Wave2net is a pretty good service if you're out in rural areas and aren't able to get Comcast or Verizon, you're able to stream multiple devices at once with no issues. I've had it now for able 2 months and really haven't had any issues with the overall service. I would have to say a million times better then any satellite provider out there, now it is a little pricey but worth it. Costumer service is useful pretty quick to respond if you do have any questions or issues which is nice. Overall I would recommend this provider to anyone looking to get away from satellite. read more

I needed internet for my grandchildren. As you all know they are out of school and all have chromebooks. My son Joey told me about wave 2 net they were excellent with the hook and explained what they were doing. They were great as a team and explained that it would be private service to only us to use. The network with the waveolution is great with several people in the house due to the coronavirus having phones and gaming systems and smart TVs there has been no lag and everything is loading fast and great quality.
