The first time I went to Wave the Grain, I went a little crazy! I got so many different cookies and cinnamon buns. The cookies were really good. Everyone loved them. The kids always ask can we go back and get more. The cinnamon buns were ok. I ate one of them cold and didn't love it. I heated another in the microwave for a few seconds and it was really good warm. The icing on them was really good too. I love how many different gluten free and vegan desserts they have. They also are usually having a sale or have some items discounted, which is great when you really need to stock up or have a big family like me. read more

I love this bakery! I went gluten free about a year ago and since then had a hard time finding baked goods that tasted the same as I remembered. Wave The Grain is amazing and delicious! I got my 21st birthday cake from Wave The Grain and was incredibly impressed. I got a vanilla cake with lemon frosting and strawberry rhubarb filling. It was beautiful! It not only looked amazing but it tasted wonderful. The cake was moist and the filling/frosting tasted delicious without being too sweet! The cake decorator did exactly what I asked, and I didn't even have to go into the store. We did everything over email, very fast and easy. Overall, if you're looking for bomb gluten free bread, baked goods, and other gluten free options this restaurant is outstanding in terms of quality and customer service. Everything I've eaten from them has tasted amazing. However, recently I noticed they have a blue lives matter flag outside their establishment. From personal experience, I've never been shown any ill or discriminatory behavior from them, only the most amazing service so it feels pretty bittersweet leaving this review. I loved them as a bakery, but I do not agree with their political stance whatsoever. So, let me be honest. I love donuts and I love pastries. I probably shouldn't eat them, but they are a great read. In fact, I never have eaten a gluten-free donut before. I just experienced my first, and I am amazed by the taste. In fact, they even have bacon and Maple donuts. I strongly recommend this awesome little bakery in centennial. The only bad thing I can say is that this place is too far from my home! The selection when I came in on a Sunday morning was picked over but there was still a decent number of options. From cupcakes to cakes, rolls, cinnamon rolls and croissants (yes! Gluten free croissants!) they make it all. The breakfast burritos are to die for - made fresh each day. The cupcakes look amazing (haven't tasted one yet). The donuts are flavorful but a tiny bit dry. Bavarian creme filled chocolate and lemon blueberry were the ones we tried. Staff was friendly. Driest muffin ever, at $4 a pop I wish it was better. They also sent coupons in the mail and only let us use 1 of them. So we walked out with 4 dry muffins and 2 cupcakes for $27... that was with one free muffin! The cupcakes were good. Just disappointed at the price and quality. read more

I found this bakery by seeing a Facebook ad. What peaked my interest was that they posted about Keto items and it was near my home. I went to the bakery and the first day and I bought the Chicken Curry (there was something bitter in the curry) and it was a B- in my book but I also bought 2 cupcakes. The Keto Chocolate Butterscotch was yummy but the Ginger Lime cupcake was absolutely divine and I give it an A++ I returned another day to get some Keto Donuts (gingerbread) and I also bought the Keto Lasagna. This is my AMAZING & DELICIOUS & jaw dropping & stunning & impressive gluten free 'cookie cake' from Wave The Grain - this photo does NOT do it justice - this was at least 24" tall and 36" wide -- TWO LAYERS of amazing chocolate chip gluten free cookies (almost like a shortbread ) and LAYERED with the MOST DELICIOUS buttercream frosting and beautiful piped roses AND some real flowers carefully placed on top too! My birthday friends were floored by how beautiful & yummy this cookie cake was. I actually teared up a little when I picked it up from the store - it MADE my birthday!! We wanted to order a cake for a coworker that is gluten free. A TINY 6 inch cake is $30. We know gluten free is expensive, so we went ahead and ordered it. We were so sad to cut into the cake and see an inch of actual cake and 3 inches of frosting. It was really gross. Too sweet. Nobody could eat it. Allyson and her staff go above and beyond. WTG catered our entire wedding from salad to toasting drinks, the main meal and of course, the dessert. We came to her with ideas, she listened, made notes, asked questions and created an incredible evening for us! We asked for Thanksgiving Turkey sandwiches thinking a standard size of bread with some turkey, cranberry and dressing/stuffing on it. What we got was a 1lb sandwich with thick cut hand carved turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, perfectly seasoned dressing all on fresh made sourdough that was grilled to perfection. And then she made garlic mashed potatoes, maple glazed carrots and had extra turkey on the side for those who didn't want a sandwich. We had cupcakes for our dessert, 3 flavors, and a cutting cake. Each piece was beautifully decorated with our colors in hand decorated roses. The flavors were AMAZING. And the surprise when you cut into them was so fun to see on our guests faces. Throughout the evening her support staff was considerate and responsive to each guests request (mostly, can this be wrapped to take home?). Allyson has a heart that never seems to end and she encourages that servant attitude in her staff and through her food. If 10 stars were an option, we'd given her 12!!! read more

Pros: Great customer service Latte was solid Cinnamon roll icing (dairy free) was amazing- I should've just ordered a bowl of that with a spoon :) Cons: The baked goods themselves were all dry and generally lacking flavor. I tried a DF lemon cookie, DF cinnamon roll and DF cannoli. The lemon cookie was dry and lacked any discernible lemon flavor. It left an unpleasant paste-y after taste. The cannoli shell was dense, dry, and soft, not light and crisp like they should be. The filling was a super dense, overwhelming sugar bomb, I couldn't stand to take more than 2 bites of it. The cannoli was an example of if you can't do it right you shouldn't do it at all. The cinnamon roll was the most edible of the 3 but very dry on the outside. If I go to a gluten-free bakery I am looking for something that is better than what I can make myself and that actually tastes good instead of just simply resembles an item from my pre- gluten free life. it is extremely hard to find a bakery that has keto options, and i happened to find the best one! wave the grain has a variety of options , in which i found their keto cupcakes. they are so delicious, you wouldn't know they were made low carb. they also offer keto muffins, keto bread, and keto cakes. on top of their delicious food, the customer service is great! the people in there are always happy and have recommendations. it's such a cute little bakery with nothing but good vibes, and i will always support them! trust me, make that stop and get yourself some delicious treats. it's always worth the 30 minute drive, and they offer a points/rewards system that's very easy to set up and use!! 10/10 read more

If you want to know if you should come here, don't. Now lets get into why that is the case. I tried a wide arrange of their menu yet most of it was a miss. I first ordered the lavender latte. I asked for it to be iced and to get a large one. The worker first was like oh I don't know how to make that so she asked the other worker. They then told her to use the iced coffee from the fridge. I'm not a total coffee snob but if you claim to be a coffee shop then know the difference between a iced coffee vs a iced latte. When the other worker asked what size she said medium even though I said large multiple times. I wouldn't be annoyed but the fact that I repeated it multiple times but she still said the wrong size. I've had many lavender lattes and I know she did not put any syrup in mine. So basically they messed up my coffee completely. I'm pretty sure they were gonna charge me for a latte even if they gave me a regular iced coffee which again is not the same thing. Okay, next I got the "lil devils" which is just a sausage wrapped in bread. She warmed it in the microwave for me but it was dry and just overall not great. I got two cannolis as well and those were fine. Nothing was particularly special about them but I feel like I could've gotten better ones from like Target or Costco if that tells you anything. This place is also super overpriced. My total order was around 20 bucks and I don't think I was really satisfied with any of it. read more

I recently discovered this bakery. I was very excited to try it, as I can't have wheat or gluten, and it had great reviews. I tried several things including a cake that was ordered for a special occasion. By far my favorite item was a Keto chocolate mini cake, we also sampled a chocolate chip cookie, a snickerdoodle cupcake, a lemon cupcake, the breakfast burritos and a "German Chocolate" cake. I was highly disappointed in the "burrito's" & cake. The burritos were favorless with an odd texture, like they were made with powdered egg & the cake was just sweet on sweet, and not at all what I know as a traditional German Chocolate cake. Everything else we tried was pretty good, overpriced but tasty. I should mention that we went to both locations, Centennial as well as the new location in Littleton. We preferred the Centennial location's products to the Littleton bakery. The customer service was great at both locations. The bakery items are delicious! I was waited on by a lady without a mask. I had previously read a review on Yelp that the owner has a severe asthma condition and cannot wear a mask. Review said she tries to stay in the back. If this was the owner who waited on me, why can't she wear a plastic face shield to wait on customers. No problem breathing with those. I ordered a dozen biscotti. Another lady who was filling the order asked if I wanted almond or chocolate. I replied almond.When I got home, every single biscotti was half chocolate and half almond.I do not live near the store so I was stuck with what I got.
