Chicken Wave bowl

Delicious! Would definitely recommend & come back. Quality ingredients, chicken tasted delicious, egg was a nice touch on top.

Honey Toast / Tiramisu

Been here twice so far and here's what I've tried: BBQ Short Rib & Spicy Korean Beef Bento Box, Hibachi Style Fried Rice Bowl and Honey Toast / Tiramisu. I wasn't a huge fan of the BBQ Short Rib & Spicy Korean Beef Bento Box. The meat could have been cooked more and the rice was a little soggy. The second time I went, I got the Hibachi Style Fried Rice Bowl with chicken and that tasted delicious. The portion size was good and it was so flavorful. For dessert, I tried their Honey Toast with Tiramisu and I absolutely loved it. It tasted just as good as it looks. The crust had a nice little crunch to it and it was soft on the inside. You order up front and you can sit wherever you'd like. The food didn't take too long to come out and they also give complimentary soup while you wait for your food.

Nice place to get something halal that isn't some kind of South Asian food. We really enjoyed the Spicy Tteokbokki and Spicy Honey Fried Chicken. It pairs perfectly with the rice. The beef bulgogi "taco" was good and stuffed to the brim with meat. It's all wrapped in what looks and tastes like a parata. It is rather greasy and messy to eat, but delicious.

Wave bowl is a halal Korean restaurant in the heart of stonebriar district. It has unique flavors and very nice interior! Ambiance: the restaurant is very pretty on the inside, and you can honestly take pictures of yourself too. It has ample seating and lighting. Service: the service is very nice and the employees are kind. There was also a free complimentary drink they offered with health benefits! Pricing: for a halal restaurant, the pricing is actually very good! Food: I got the beef bulgogi bowl and the chicken bowl (I forgot the name). Both of them were very nice. The beef was very flavorful, soft, tender, and in the sweeter side. The chicken was fried and it tasted great with the rice and salad. The serving is pretty large so I had leftovers. Everything was a 10/10! I will definitely suggest this place to others! It's a nice change to try!

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! They were very friendly and it was a pleasant lunch with our little one. We will be returning!

Paid for an extra meal with their bogus gratuity charge and tip. Zero service and asking for a gratuity is laughable.

The food is good, but watch out at the register. They don't serve you or give you refills, but they're charging 18% gratuity and have the audacity to ask at minimum 15% tip again. Just paid $63 for two people. This isn't right, you shouldn't charge for gratuity if you're not waiting on tables, there is zero service and they don't deserve 33% for hanging out behind a touch screen register taking orders.

Came here from a friend's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint. Pricing was pretty fair for the portions, and food tasted great. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean.

A great Asian fusion place! I actually went there twice in 1 week and i live 40+ mins away - that should say a lot! Everything I tried was so so good! Can't wait to go back! You have to order at the counter, but the servers bring you the food. The servers are nice and the place is super clean. The place is mayyyybe a tad expensive, but it's still okk. Must try: honey toast dessert

Korean Spicy Honey Chicken

Walked in not really busy had a few people seat. Immediately greeted as soon as we can in. Restaurant was neat and clean. I ordered the Korean Spicy Honey Chicken. Little make spice than I am use to but not unbearable. The portion sizes are huge. I would definitely go back to try the dessert.

Overpriced but the food was good. Bowl prices go $13-19 and the portions aren't really worth the $$$.

I'm so happy they built a Cho Dang in Plano!…read more This place is one of my favorite go-tos for Korean tofu soup & short ribs (galbi). I love ordering the combos so I get a little bit of everything that I want. The portions are decent if you're hungry & want to finish everything OR if you're not too hungry, eat half, and take the other half to-go for lunch the next day. The service is aligned with what you'd expect from a Korean place. Some of the older ladies working there are so sweet and helpful, especially if you tell them it's your first time, and some of them seem more intimidating and aggressive. Typically there isn't a wait for tables. Only times I've waited for a table are peak weekend dinner hours. The most I waited was maybe 15 minutes, as their service is quite fast for a sit down restaurant. This location has seats where you can store your personal belongings in them!

They have a variety of tofu soup options, along with other traditional Korean dishes. My table of four ordered a seafood pancake, various tofu soups, and kalbi. The seafood pancake was disappointing-- there was very little seafood and the center was mushy, not crispy. I got the intestine tofu soup in medium spicy, which had large chunks of intestine and generous helpings of tofu. The soup portions are so large, I didn't even finish my rice. As for the side dishes/banchan, nothing really stood out. As for the service, we were seated and helped really quickly, but pretty much left alone for the remainder of the meal. The prices here are decent, especially if you share a combo meat and soup with a friend.

We got the baby octopus bibimbap with the steamed egg and bulgogi bibimbap with the tofu soup. The banchan was also really fresh and the kimchi really stood out. The portions were huge! I love that the bibimbap comes out on a flat sizzling pan to maximize the crunchy rice you get from it. The baby octopus was delicious and had great flavor. The steamed egg had a spongy texture which and was also really flavorful. The tofu soup was not as thick as some that you might get but it had a really good savory flavor that you can taste in the soup. It was overall a real great experience and a great value if you're going at lunch. Definitely adding to our regular rotation.

Hands down we were treated like royalty here!…read more Got the pork belly and beef rib meat and to go with that bbq, mushroom bibimbap. Even before the star of the meal appeared, kudos to the smattering of banchan that came out: sprouts, cucumber kimchi, sweet potato, mini meat patties, kimchi, steamed egg, tofu soup, salad greens seasoned, cheese + corn... I hope I didn't miss any! The mushroom bibimbap is flavorful! We've never had this particular bibimbap before and man it goes well with the meat. Beef rib was tender and nice. We wanted it a bit rare :) and it was delish! Dipping sauce was nice but honestly doesn't need it! Oh and the grilled mushroom is good with it. Pork belly was the star of the meal. Had it with 2 week aged grilled kimchi (so special!!) and we got samjang with it, yummm. We were stuffed to the rim and had to take a little box of leftovers home. We were so touched with a little desert rice drink at the end, really rounded out the meal and experience all together. A+ for the service. Amazing job and everything grilled to perfection.

We've been coming to Ari Korean BBQ for years since they first opened, and overall it's still one…read moreof our favorite spots. The food is consistently great, and when the staff is properly trained, the service is excellent too. The waitress with the toast necklace was honestly amazing and the highlight of our visit. Her communication was perfect. She asked exactly how we wanted the meat cooked, checked in on the pacing of the courses, and adjusted everything when we asked to slow things down. That level of attentiveness is what makes Korean BBQ enjoyable. At Ari, multiple staff members rotate between tables helping out, which is normally fine. Unfortunately, every time the more mature staff member came to our table, things started getting worse instead of better. After we had already explained that we preferred medium rare and wanted a slower pace, she came over, saw a little pink in the meat, turned the fire back on, and cooked it until it was overdone. She also started putting meat directly onto people's plates without asking first. Everyone at our table had different preferences. Some mainly wanted vegetables, our daughter preferred pieces with more fat on the sides instead of the more pink cuts, and some of us simply weren't ready for more food yet. Since we know everyone's preferences best, it would have made much more sense for us to serve the meat ourselves instead of having it automatically placed onto plates. What made it more awkward was that she kept placing food only into my tray and not anyone else's, which confused my wife and made the experience uncomfortable. She also started cooking additional courses before we had even finished the first two, despite us specifically asking to slow the pace down. The side dishes were also noticeably skimpy this visit compared to normal. Usually the portions are at least halfway filled, but this time some came out barely a quarter full. We kept asking for refills, especially for the daikon, and each refill only came with two or three small pieces. At that point it felt strange having to repeatedly ask for something that normally comes reasonably portioned. One suggestion for management: name tags would really help in a restaurant where the staff is actively cooking and interacting with customers. In a professional service environment, it would make communication much easier and more respectful if customers could address employees by name instead of describing them as "the toast necklace waitress" or "the mature lady." Still love Ari overall and will continue coming back. Hopefully this was just an off night and the communication/training issues get addressed.

The galbi tang is the best Korean soup that I've ever had. Yes, it's better than soondubu (tofu stew) or budae jjigae (army base stew). Our family makes both of these stews at home but once we discovered the galbi tang here, we order it at least once a month. Ok maybe at least twice a month lol The ajumma here is the sweetest person and I like to tell myself that everything from the soups to the banchan are her homemade recipes. I have no way of confirming if that's even true but even the banchan is delicious. My husband discovered this place when he ordered something here once last winter. I forget what it was but he was given a side of galbi tang in a small, stainless steel bowl and the rest is history. I love this place, I need it to be around forever so please come eat here and enjoy. You're welcome.
