Tim took the time to personally come over, confirm Danny's suspicions, and collaborate on a plan to resolve the issue. They even coordinated with Caden, another team member, to assist with a specific step of the repair. Our home is older, and we discovered that our kitchen piping had been slowly eroding in the basement crawl space for years before finally bursting. This caused sewage water from our sink and dishwasher to seep into our concrete cinder block basement wall. Within hours, the Rausch Plumbing team had completely re-piped the entire system and provided helpful recommendations for potential restoration work. These guys were outstanding! Hardworking, professional, and genuinely kindhearted. Their level of service and respect was unmatched. However, if you want a professional, that knows what they are doing, to get it right and not tell you "I don't know anything about these." Well... consider that before calling. Or just request a professional also with your inquiry. This will save you time, money and frustration. They probably have a professional there. We just didn't get that person. This would be fine if we were informed immediately that the company would be sending someone with no knowledge of our requests. That way, we would have went somewhere else straight away. He looked at our water softener and said, "I don't know anything about these...." I showed him a pin that supposed to be attached to the softener and he said "Yeah I don't know why there'd be a pin in it." So we are paying for a plumber to come out and NOT know about water softeners? So he installed the bidet but it took him just shy of TWO hours. When he finished he said it was leaking (maybe not his fault)- but two hours for a bidet? I installed it myself at our other house in 15 minutes. The only reason we had a plumber do it was because we needed a different T-valve and he didn't get a different T-valve- he just rigged the one we had to make it work (might be why its leaking????). We do need to get a new water softener but will be using someone else to install it as they did not leave us with much confidence in their abilities.

The faucet on my bathtub was broken and water wouldn't shut off. We contacted Jim's Plumbing. The…read moreplumber told us that we had to replace the on/off handles/spout because they were obsolete. He said the way to fix it was to knock a hole in the wall and replace the entire piping system to the tub. We refused and he left, saying that he would try to figure out what else he could do to fix it. My wife went to Lowe's and bought two new universal handles. We both installed the handles and they work great. Jim's Plumbing sent me a bill for $174 for nothing. It's pretty sad that a 78-year-old grandma could figure out how to fix it, and your plumber couldn't. Watch out for people who want to scam you into thinking you have to replace something for thousands of dollars, when it only cost you $13.

When we called they said that they could get us in that afternoon because they had a guy in the area. We asked how much it would be and the lady said $225 an hour and $200 an hour after that. She never said anything about fuel charges. When the guy got to our house he was here for 45 min and charged us $395. When we asked why it was so different then we were quoted he said it was the fuel charges. So they charge $160 to go 10 min. Away and he wasn't even here an hour!!! I would not recommend this company for not being transparent with its costumers.
