It took 60 days to get 1 problem fixed that could have been done day one. I sent a certified letter to the CEO of Purdy Group USA in Bryan and the same certified letter to the GM in Huntsville. NOT ONE RESPONSE to the letters. I agreed on a price plus TTL We absolutely no add ons! before I drove 4 hrs. To be there when you opened. You added $995.00 CarRx, $1,000.00 activation fee, $225.00 document fee and $30.00 document fee. That is $2,250.00 Over what I agreed to pay! You may have settled this to your satisfaction but not mine. I will continue to post my review everywhere I can for as long as I can in hopes of saving other people from this. I am also looking into what it takes to file a complaint with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, the Texas Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, the Texas Auto Dealers Association, and the Automotive Consumer Action Program--and I will NOT STOP until every single one of them hears about this.

    They are crooks. Found out my car had multiple wrecks a couple of months after I bought it. After 3…read moreyears they decided to just hold my check and repo my car saying I was $100 behind but no letter was mailed said they tried to call but only number I missed was a blocked number. costed me $375 to get my car back from impound which I had to pay cash for at eastep which furthers my suspension about what type of business they are running. Just go somewhere else cause they will try and steal your car after 3 years and being almost paid off

I went to trade in my vehicle that I bought from Eastep so I could get a bigger family car. The dealership called for a payoff and they would not give it to them so I had to email them and ask that it be faxed and emailed back so that the dealer could finish my deal. They sent a payoff quote and my deal was completed. HERE COMES MY NIGHTMARE!!! 3 weeks later I get a call from Lihia stating that Eastep is saying I owe over $3000 more than what they told us our payoff was but they were working on it and would let me know. I call and spoke to the owner TERRY KROLL and he said that it was my fault and that I was stupid and that he would not discuss this with me at all. I should have not went and traded in that vehicle and that his staff made the mistake and that he was not going to pay for their mistake and that I was. Come to find out the car I traded in was sold to someone who paid cash in full. 2 weeks later I get a letter in the mail stating that my car had been repossessed and that I had stuff in it. WHICH OF COURSE CAME AS A COMPLETE SURPRISE!!!!!!! So I called Eastep and again he was rude and stated that he followed the GPS on the car and repossessed it as soon as it made it back to town from out of state. I feel sorry for the people who bought it because it was not their fault at all. He stated he would keep that car until it was made off in full. Today I got a call from Lithia stating that they paid it off so that the other people could get their car but now I have to come up with $1600 that I don't just have laying around. He should honor his employees mistakes no matter what. A doctor has to own up to his nurses mistakes!!!! I will never do business with this arrogant man again and I think he should pay this $1600 because I did what they asked and got the payoff from them so he should honor it and not be a complete jerk and talk to customers like they are idiots. I have a Bachelor's Degree and going for my MBA, I am a wife and mother of 10 adopted kids and I don't need to be treated like crap and took advantage of by this man and his business.
