While I'm standing there a yard guy comes in and tells me to move my truck, that I'm in a no parking zone. So I go move my truck. I come back into the office, now behind another guy. After another three minutes I order my four yards of topsoil, go out to the pile and wait a good five minutes while watching the same yard worker that told me to move my truck sitting on a fork lift looking at his phone. The team at TLC removed an old large deck and pergola, and replaced with sod, irrigation, and a large pad and walkway of decomposed granite. The team even reused our old mulch to fill in spots I opted to not landscape at this time, and left our yard looking pristine. I received brochure in mail from this company - " Nice View - Tree Care,"I called and set up an…read moreappointment for them to give me an estimate of removal of three pine trees in my back yard - behind and very close to my in ground Gunite pool. Martin arrived - we discussed what I needed and then he preceded to suggest ways of doing the job - caution with the pool, ect. and at that time had agreed on a price. I told him that I am getting estimates and would get back to him. I called Martin a couple of days later and asked if he could come back out and talk about the job again - he said yes. December 2, he arrived back at the house - we talked over job and at that point I decided to hire him - paperwork was signed - insurance talked about and date set for December 7, 2021. Martin, along with his crew of 3 guys arrived here at my home around 0900. They preceded to set up brand new tarp over entire pool and tied tarp down. The Evergreen trees all 3 are very close to the in ground Gunite pool. Martin and his peer - Martin, started climbing two of the trees - went pretty much to the top - tied off and came back to the bottom of base of the tree and started cutting limbs off going up the trunk of the tree - as they got to the middle - started tying off limbs and lowering to the ground - using ropes - then Ricardo, and Francisco would pull limbs out to the road. The two ground guys - Francisco, Ricardo- strong - Professional !! The two, " Martins," in the trees - strong - professional !! When they left the place it looked amazing - The tarp, was left over the pool, ( grinding of the stumps tomorrow ) but the debris, smaller limbs, everything was clean ! Arriving tomorrow to do the grinding of the base of all three trees. Crew arrived today to remove 3 stumps. Good job with removal ! They also trimmed 4 fan palms. I am very happy with the results. I needed to take care of my pine overgrowth to satisfy my insurance company and Martin made sure to trim the tree strategically. He was the first to respond to my request for quotes and I hired them based not only on the pricing but his exact strategy on how he would do the trimming, which would satisfy my insurance company without butchering the tree. He used a laser pointer to show me exactly where he would cut. He had good communication skills and was very personable. His helper was also friendly and personable. I feel that his rates are very reasonable. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. I am very pleased.
