Good waterfront. however not going back again. However, experienced some discrimination. We walked in to the restaurant and were told how much it costs at front. Then we asked for a warmer spot because it was cold, however my husband couldn't take the heat due to health issues. We asked to be moved inside where the heat was not direct on our faces. Located in Hyatt Regency you'll find Waters Table. Just about every seat in the restaurant offers a view of Lake Washington. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and do a great job. Lately Stephanie has been my server. She is a delightful young lady and very good at her role. The menu is on point for American food dining. They have a really good burger for $27. Yummy Fish and Chips. I also like their Gem Salad with Grilled Salmon added. The burger is so large it would be shareable for the ladies. I can never eat the entire burger and fries. Breakfast: In my opinion this is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've enjoyed. The menu is expansive and changes frequently. It's chef style dining - not your average hotel breakfast and NO buffets. Very pleasant spot for date night or catching up with friends. When I went around 8pm, I was able to get a window table right away. The view is great, very relaxing for sipping drinks. Their drinks and food menu is decent and not overpriced like a lot of other fancy places. You order on a tablet that was pretty user friendly. Parking can be tricky, you have to create an account on your phone, they don't give you physical parking voucher to validate. Also make sure to keep it under 2 hours if you want your parking paid for. read more

This is our second time at Water's Table. I don't know if it will turn into a go-to spot for the double date we had for a second time with our friends, as they seemed less happy than we were - although everyone was happy with the view - it's amazing to look out at the crystal water, with the big jets in production right next to, and small aircraft and yachts moving in and around. We sat on the patio, which they tell me is usually open unless there is very bad weather. They have a heater, but it IS open to the elements so be it known that it might be windy or you might have a pigeon staring at you. We commented that it would be nice if the tables were all arranged so that every guest could view the water better - we had to sit with our backs to it. Food. Mine was amazing. I got the croque madame. I had a croque monsieur in France and never forgot it, so I decided to try its counterpart. It was delicious. Cheese and egg-soaked bread goodness with ham. And actually, I almost liked the greens even better - whatever they use for their dressing is spectacular, just the right amount of vinegar and sugar. Husband got the combo breakfast meal thingee (farmer's? IDK) and enjoyed it; he said the potatoes were awesome. Since it was St. Patrick's I also got an Irish Death beer which came with a perfect pour. Our friends tried the French Toast and Chicken (a take on waffles and chicken) and I noticed their plates were clean. Service was a little slow but perfectly polite and accomodating. With a view like that, on a beautiful sunny day in Western WA, it's hard to care if your order takes a bit longer than usual - especially when everyone is all smiles and the food is fantastic. read more

Absolutely gorgeous views - amazing!! 1st we sat at a table for our 1st meal that it was literally in my chest. Weirdest table ever. The tables for breakfast towards the patio did not have that issue thankfully. Burrata loved it. The cheese was a great texture and tomatoes were wonderful. The balsamic was a little light but that's a personal preference and next time I'll ask for some on the side. Fish and chips is typical fish and chips and pretty standard fare. Breakfast sandwich solid flavor and can actually taste the cheese. The ham is a bit saltier than typical deli ham which adds to the overall flavor. If you have dietary issues w/fat content, w/the cheese and butter, this may not be the dish for you. The mushroom scramble is a huge portion enough to split. The mushrooms were devoid of color so a little lighter hand on the sauce of the veggies overall to maintain their freshness. Butternut bisque and clam chowder for the price is a small portion and probably the worst dishes we had. Bread service change out that butter yuck Thanksgiving dinner - the ham was dry, the potatoes had no flavor, and not impressed by the apple trifle. The chocolate mousse rocked. Not sure why it was so expensive given the selection of dishes was on the smaller side. $85 would have been the sweet spot. $110 when not drinking alcohol is a little pricey. We thought there would be more. Greek yogurt my fav breakfast. Get the additional side of fruit and it's a great way to start the day. I'd also like a little more of the muesli and would ask for additional next time. Would love to know what brand of yogurt they use. Nicole was our server 2 of our breakfasts and loved her! We were at the Grand Ballroom for Thanksgiving. I was expecting more to be honest. Perhaps I assumed there would be more options for food since it was a buffet. Don't get me wrong the food was great but I think I was just thinking of a Las Vegas style buffet haha I loved the salads and I appreciated that the crab were cut open. It definitely made it easier to enjoy! The salmon was great too. It felt a bit to "conference-like" since it was actually held in the ballroom, and the tables and chairs were spaced out in the same way. It would have been nice if there was maybe more Christmas decor or some music to lighten the atmosphere. Service was fine. They had the beverages and coffee/tea in a section for you to help yourself. The Easter Brunch was the worst buffet I've ever had, at any price. And that is saying a lot when you are 77, and the buffet costs $75 plus tax. Limited selection and dried-out items. All 4 of us in my party, had to each pay an additional $5.99 for the handful of minutes beyond 2 hours that we were parked. Was looking around for an Easter Brunch location. Found Water's but it was sold out. We were told that Easter Brunch was booked over a month. My husband got the lamb shank. He loved it, fell right off the bone. It was so rich he had to take half home for lunch the next day. Daughter 1 got the petite filet steak with mash. She enjoyed it so much she finished the whole thing. Daughter 2 got the wagyu burger. Also enjoyed but she could not finished and had to take home for leftovers as well. I had the salmon with sunchokes cooked the way I wanted, almost raw. The skin was crisp, and the salmon melts in my mouth. I actually ate the whole thing. I was too full for dessert so I took home black sesame cheesecake. I actually didn't care for it once I tried some at home. I wanted to take home the lemon panna cotta but could not due how it's made. Now I wish I could've . The rest of the fam shared the cookie with ice cream. I took a bite which was enough to help with the sweet tooth. Other than that I think the the main course was worth skipping dessert for. I almost forgot to mention for appetizers we shared Yorkshire pudding with grilled onions a foam Beechers. Kinda clumsy to eat but still pretty tasty. The truffle French fries with aioli sauce helped while we waited long for our food. Getting our food did take quite long time. We had crying kids all around us. I think once they got fed, it wasn't as noisy. I totally understand, I had little ones back in the day. Not sure why they were slow. It is Easter, but they weren't really busy. I heard they were totally busy for Easter brunch though. A bit on the spendy side, and knowing my friends they probably wouldn't dine here on purpose. However if you are staying at the hotel. The staff is friendly, food is okay, and the ambiance is nice with a great view of the lake...until they close the shades that is. On a beautiful sunny day I was seated right by the window but about 10 minutes into my time there the sun shades/blinds came rolling down. This was around dinner. Myself and a couple other guests (at separate times) asked for the shades to be rolled back up (to enjoy the view) but the waiter said they can't because the entire wall of shades go up - versus one window at a time. My assumption is one guest in the restaurant asked for the shades to be down and the staff stuck with that one guest's request. Bummer because the view could barely be seen. Hopefully they fix this silly issue and have control over one window at a time versus all or nothing. Because why have a restaurant on the water if guests can't even see the view? read more

I went to Water Table for dinner with my partner. Neither of us had tried the place before, but let me tell you how much we enjoyed it. The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. We ended up sitting at the bar, and Isaiah, our server and bartender, was a joy to be around. He made delicious drinks and gave great recommendations. I had the Hatter chicken with corn purée, and it was so delicious-- the best tender and seasoned chicken I've had at a restaurant so far. I also got the mac and cheese, while my partner had the risotto with squash and seafood soup, which he loved. After dinner, we went downstairs for the live music and views, which were fantastic. Water's Table is the crown jewel of Renton dining experience. The view, the food , the service are all second to none. Water's Table has been our top destination for our corporate lunches. The first thing that sweeps you in are the full glass windows provide you with breath taking views of Lake Washington. Even on a cloudy day, you get the sense that there's something special about having a water view. Secondly, the restaurant feels like a hidden jewel. Granted, Water's Table is located within a hotel but don't let that give you any pause. In fact, it probably elevates it's service. Third, the food. Food was cooked to perfection. I've only ever been for lunch but never had a "miss" Fourth, the service. Talk about "white glove service." From the Hostess to the Server, everyone pulls off the sense that they want to be there and they take pride in what they do. I haven't had a bad customer service interaction yet. I will continue to recommend to my colleagues and friends to visit Water Table and hey who knows, maybe I'll even stay at the Hyatt it's located in (despite being local). read more

As a patron of Waters Table solo, on a date, hanging with family, corporate events, mother daughter dates and more service has always been top tier. My favorite dish is the butter and white wine clams and secondly the salmon. I have enjoyed delicious wine and craft cocktails here. It's one of Renton's best kept secrets. There is a beautiful view of Lake Washington and you can see if from any table in the restaurant. One of my favorite servers Nancy always greets me with a smile and over the years I can say we have become friends. That doesn't happen all the time. Had reservation for 7:15. Got a nice window table with a nice view of the lake. Kathy was our server and she was hands down one of the best servers I have had ever. She not only had amazing customer service, she could read our energy and knew when to come or leave us alone. She got personal with us as well which was a nice touch to the evening. Both my guest and I asked for drinks not on the menu and Kathy and the bartender were able to make them without any issues. They added a nice fresh flower for a touch. Ask for the Snow drink that we made up; tequila wonders! We ordered the fish and chips that comes with 3 generous size pieces. Fish has a nice batter to it. It was okay. That's about it. It's a lovely restaurant and when we stayed at the hotel for a staycation we figured we would give it a try. We were maybe 1 of 5 tables for Sunday brunch at about 8:30AM. Not sure if that's just not a busy time or what but the service was so slow. It took forever to get a drink and then even longer to get to order food. It did come out fairly quickly once ordered. Spouse had the breakfast burger which was really pretty lifeless. Not much flavor. I got the French toast and fried chicken. The flavors were decent but the textures were weird. The French toast was dry but mushy somehow? Chicken was seasoned well but breading was a mess. The hot sauce compound butter was fun but the Woodinville whiskey Maple syrup lacked the whiskey flavor. All in all, prices were too high for mediocre service and food and we wouldn't go back. Which is too bad. We live just down the road and would have loved a good, close brunch spot. read more

I kinda flinched out my seat a little bit. When I brought it up to a manager they tried to play it off like it wasn't a cockroach sitting on my plate. My wife and I just got up and left. I'm not the type of person to hop on yelp and complain about food or service, but this was a ridiculous experience. Luckily the sky was blue. I made a reservation the night before just in case and requested the view table. FYI Restaurant was packed with people and more waiting for the table. So I'd suggest making reservation. Parking is free for 2 hours located right by the hotel. No validation needed. The restaurant is inside of Hyatt. We ordered steak and egg brunch and farmers brunch, then spilt. I enjoyed NY steak and well seasoned salad and potatoes. Pineapple Mimosa was a good accompaniment. Good champagne! I came here this past summer for my bridesmaid brunch. The restaurant has a lovely waterfront view (obviously) and was gorgeous even on a cloudy day; we could even see seaplanes land, which I thought was extra special for the out of town guests with me. That weekday was pretty quiet so it was a nice place for the 5 of us to chat, and accommodating enough for a slightly rambunctious toddler. Food and cocktails were elevated but approachable, standard bistro options - a little pricey but expected for its location. Most of all, our server (I wish I remembered his name!) was THE best; so sweet and personable, and made our time extra fun. I hope to come again on a warmer day and get a window seat!
