I am writing this review on both Amanda and AJ (waxing and lashes) Amanda- where should I start, I texted the studio for a last minute under arm wax to follow my last minute eyelash appointment I had made that morning (it was a crazy day). Amanda was fully booked until the following week, but somehow managed to work me into her schedule so I could get a convenient wax with her while I was waiting for my lash appt. She was SO SWEET! she used a hard wax on my underarms, and was very quick and efficient with her waxing technique. She made time for a little small talk during and after the appointment, and I felt really comfortable with her level of experience and attention to detail. She mentioned that she was a perfectionist, and that she was! She left me with smooth, flawless underarms and her pricing is extremely reasonable for the great service that she provided. You will pay the same if not more walking into a dirty nail salon...why not come here and have an enjoyable conversation in a clean and inviting atmosphere..I'll be back to see Amanda again! Now for Miss AJ...another gem! She took me as an emergency same day appointment because my normal lash lady called out sick and I was leaving town for my birthday weekend. Can you say life saver!!?? If you're not familiar with getting lashes, it usually takes at least a few days to be able to get an appointment with a technician at any decent salon/studio. AJ had been doing lashes in Hollywood for a few years prior to moving to Scottsdale last month. She was referred to me by a mutual friend, and I am so thankful! She did a pre-service consultation, and was great at communicating throughout the process of removing/applying my new lashes. The appointment lasted a little over an hour, but it felt like it went by really quickly because we chatted most of the time. It was overall and enjoyable experience. I got different lengths of volume lashes in "B" curl, they turned out looking extremely even and natural looking. She even sent me home with a cute goodie bag with after-care instructions, extra lash brushes, and yummy chocolates! I will also be back to see AJ again! I highly recommend this studio for your next lash or waxing appointment. You won't be disappointed! read more

I did it. Committed the over tweezed eyebrow crime. I have been a client of Amanda's for about a year now - but not for brows. There was no hesitation. Once I realized the error of my ways, I immediately called Amanda! Was able to seamlessly book an appointment and am happy to report I am on my way to brow recovery! I've also been in to see her for the oxygen facial - which was an amazing experience. She has passion for her career, superior product knowledge, and pride in her work. Not to mention a positive attitude and just simply a pleasure to be around. Thank you Amanda! read more

I do not normally write reviews when I go for my typical eyebrow/lip wax, as it's usually so robotic. But I had such a great experience with Amanda that I had to leave a review. This is truly fantastic service and she has such great skill, that it must be noticed. I have been having trouble growing my brows in. Prior to moving back to Phoenix, I used to only go to a celebrity waxer in West Hollywood, and I have to say that Amanda gave a far superior service to a very well known celebrty waxer in LA, and of course, a much better price. She spent a lot of time on my brows, and has a certain "magic touch" so that it does NOT hurt and feel awfully awkward or awful. She got all of the little annoying hairs around the growth to clean me up, but kept the fullness. Another thing, she filled them in beautifully with a great product. I have bought lots of eyebrow pots, pencils, etc that don't give me the right look and make me look clearly drawn in, but she used a fabulous brow fill in product. Yay! Also, usually when I get my lip waxed, I break out. It has been 2 days since I got my lip waxed, and I have NOT broken out! You know that struggle when you have to decide between looking like you have a mustache, or looking like you have herpes? Haha!! Amanda waxed my lip, extracted my skin, and used something that did NOT make me break out. Amazing! I feel really confident with her skills that I am definitely going to come in for some skin care advice. It has been something i have been needing for awhile, and I feel like I finally found somebody who can help me with my skincare needs. I definitely recommend! read more

Jesus beyond blessed Amanda's hands!!! She is AMAZING!!!!! I have been to every kind of shop there is, Asian, Caucasian, Middle Eastern, Latino (wax & thread) and no one has ever paid attention as to what I always asked for (full brows) and without question Amanda hit the nail on the head! I absolutely love my new brow shape and brow tint!! After letting them grow for 3months she beyond exceeded my expectations making the wait and growth worth while! The most painless experience I've ever had with any kind of wax. She is super sweet and personable! Her shop is super easy to find, very clean and mellow environment. I can't wait to go back for other services & would most definitely recommend to any and everyone! She's the best! read more

Not only is Amanda the sweetest person you will ever meet, she also is incredibly talented and has a keen attention to detail. I started going to her for my eyebrows, in which she has help me transform them into the eyebrows I have always wanted (more full and better shaped). She recommended a lash growth serum that has worked wonders within 7 weeks. I just recently had a lash perm done with Amanda it had been LIFE-CHANGING!! My lashes are perfectly curled and there is no need to wear mascara! I am so happy since they are my own lashes and do not have any restrictions like lash extensions do. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment now! read more

I've been going to Amanda for my Brazilian Wax for over a year now. One word: AMAZING!! She is a perfectionist and won't let me leave the room until it's all perfectly removed. Before her I had to shave a few times a week and it was a nightmare, since I was so scared to get a wax from prior experience and pain. Now I can't imagine not going to her. She's a genius!! I've also gotten eyebrow waxes from her and she knows exactly how to make the shape not too thin yet not too thick. Bonus: she's so sweet and happy all the time. Makes me wish that all the places I went to were this great at customer service!! I strongly recommend her. Ladies, what are you waiting for?! Go see her!! read more

I'll keep this simple about the facial I got:::: -Attention to my needs. -Amazing knowledge of appro product for my crazy skin. -great overall facial!!!! I can't wait to come back and get another. I just moved to Scottsdale & was so worried about trusting someone new with my eyebrows after a year with a trusted waxer. well, I found this off of Yelp & right when I arrived, my worries dissipated. not only was the owner professional, sweet, and interesting but she did a damn good job on my brows. basically, I found my new eyebrow girl read more

Amanda is amazing!! I recently had to relocate and losing Amanda was probably the hardest part (no joke)! She is very communicative and I appreciated that she would check in during services to make sure I was on board with what she was doing. She is detail oriented and genuinely wants to see her clients happy. The best in the biz! read more

Amanda saved my eyebrows! I had the genius idea to get my eyebrows done at the airport (bad bad idea) and they completely messed up my arch and my brows were so thin and odd looking. I read Amanda's glowing reviews and immediately set up an appointment for a week and a half after, to give my eyebrows time to grow out a little. I didn't think it would be possible to fix my eyebrows in one visit but she did the impossible. My eyebrows looked like they belonged on my face again. The majority of eyebrow waxers don't understand or listen when I ask them to not wax my brows too thin. Finally! Someone who understands thicker brows! Amanda is awesome as well. Everything is very comfortable and she's easy to talk to. Even though I had just met her, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She's very meticulous and has an eye for brows. As soon as my car is out of the shop, this will be my go-to place! I don't trust anyone else! My lip wax was a breeze too and no irritation (even though I have sensitive, acne prone skin) and she left me completely smooth. Will be back!! read more

I recommend! She has great attention to detail. My brows are safe in her hands! Trust!

I'll start off by saying I will never see anyone else but Amanda to do my eyebrows! I was never one to get my eyebrows waxed because I have sensitive skin, so I swore it off. With a wedding/honeymoon coming up soon in May 2015, I decided to search for options to get my eyebrows taken care of; tweezing was not making me feel absolutely confident. I knew that there had to be someone out there that could help me make them look clean and well-groomed! I came across a review on here that said they were also sensitive to wax and when they used Amanda's services, they pretty much had no reaction. Being sold on her 5-star review and that comment, I immediately booked an appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted so kindly and warmly and she made me feel right at home. As she started waxing my eyebrows, she was incredibly easy going and great to talk to throughout the appointment. I have to say that I could have easily fallen asleep, it was so therapeutic! I had told her that I had wanted to grow my eyebrows out more; make them a little more natural looking and she offered tips on how to accomplish that. She is very knowledgeable and never once pushed/forced any product on me to buy; just offered advice. After all was done, her work far exceeded my expectations and it felt amazing! I barely had any sight of redness or bumps around my eyebrows and that made me ecstatic. She has made a customer for life and I will not trust anyone else! Thank you Amanda, you are awesome! read more

Amanda is amazing!! I just have to update my review. I've been going to her for a year now, I think, but each visit gets better and better! She takes very good care of your eyebrows or whatever service you are looking to get done. The positive atmosphere, vibes, and energy makes you feel very comfortable. I'm trying to get these brows grown and it's getting closer! THANK YOU AMANDA FOR ALL YOU DO!!!! read more

So, I've never been to this place. But my experience prior to even coming to my appointment was so awful that I ended up canceling my services and went to another business. I went to their website and went to the "book now" section, since I knew what I wanted to get done. As I went through the process of booking, there was a note saying if you are a new client, you need to book a consult. Makes sense given the first appointment is usually a consultation and then the services. So, I booked that, even though I needed a lamination and a lip wax. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. I get a text from Amanda, who was the person I booked, and come to find out, the Owner of the salon. I let her know I also needed to get a lamination and lip wax. She replied back saying I "should have" booked the lamination and lip wax if that was what I wanted. I replied back with why I booked the consult (because the website said it was necessary). She replied back with screenshots from the SERVICES section of her website, circling in yellow the small note under the brow lamination that says consult is not needed for this service. I replied back that on the section I WENT TO, that was not noted. I also stated that I would like to cancel my appt (bc I was not happy with how this had been handled), and to go ahead and please charge me the 50% fee of services required for a cancellation within 24 hours of the appt time ($17.50). I assumed at this point she would say something like "oh, thanks for letting me know about the site! Sorry about the misunderstanding!" Or something like that. Instead she replied back with...wait for it... this is the best part...that she couldn't charge my card on file so I needed to VENMO HER the $17.50. I was SHOOK! What business owner has someone VENMO them for $17.50 over something that technically isn't even my fault?! The point isn't about the money. I'll give you $17.50 all day long. The point is, the customer service. Or in this case, the SEVERE lack of. The whole scenario was just tacky and the lack of care for the customer was something I've literally never experienced before. Anyways, I Venmo'd Amanda the $17.50....and found another brow place :) read more

Amanda is AMAZING! My brows can quickly get out of control if I don't maintain them, and Amanda is the absolute best at making sure they're groomed and look good. She takes into consideration the shape of my face, which is a big deal to me, and has great attention to detail. Plus, she's super sweet and funny. I'd actually gone to her when she was at a different place, and when she left, I quit going there because none of the other aestheticians could match her work! I was absolutely thrilled when I tracked her down (in a non-creepy way) and will never go to anyone else. She's that awesome! read more

Amanda was absolutely amazing! This was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed, so I was very careful to read as many reviews as possible to choose the right person for the job. Lulu's Aesthetics had great reviews and showcased pictures of their work (fantastic, natural-looking brows!), so it wasnt long before I was in their comfy spa chair/bed. The whole experience was very relaxing and virtually painless! I was expecting it to be extremely painful, as I've heard waxing usually is. But the wax and the unique way Amanda waxes and tweezes the brow hairs was painless and actually quite calming. Amanda herself is very sweet and made the first-time-wax experience less nerve-racking. My brows turned out fantastic! Natural-looking, thicker and more cleanly structured than my brows have ever looked before. My brows actually looked like they belonged on my face! I enjoyed my experience and brows so much that I tipped Amanda $40! That should tell you how wonderful she is at her job and who your next brow (or other hair removal, facial or makeup needs) appointment should be made with! read more

There really is no one better than Amanda. I won't let anyone, except her, touch my brows! She uses the best products - especially the Luzern face products and the Rapid Lash/Brow serum! I went from 90s thin to 10s full in less than one tube when nothing else worked! The oxygen facial is amazing too - especially for us desert dwellers. Amanda is amazing and you won't regret letting her pamper you! read more

I just recently moved back from NYC and was faithful to my threading but I read so many amazing reviews for Amanda on here and I was more than thrilled after leaving! Her specialty is keeping your brows full and beautiful and she does it very well. I have never had someone as attentive as her work on my brows. She is definitely a perfectionist! Amanda also has a wealth of knowledge regarding skin as well! I had 1 million and 1 questions about brows, skincare and who knows what else. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and safe the entire time. So no need to fear walking out with half an eyebrow! I left feeling like I gained a new friend and will definitely be giving her my business as long as I'm in Arizona! read more

I've been a client of Amanda's for more than 4 years. She is without a doubt the best aesthetician I have ever had - and I have been to top spas all over the world. Her facials are heavenly and I see immediate and long lasting results every time I receive one. She uses a skincare line that is amazing and pretty rare in AZ called Luzern Laboratories. Amanda is a brow genius - somehow she has transformed my sad, uneven brows into thick, gorgeous brows that even strangers compliment me on. Her salon is adorable and she is a joy to be around. read more

I am obsessed with my eyelash lift and tint! Amanda did an amazing job and the process was super relaxing, I will definitely be back!

They say your eyebrows should look like sisters, not twins. Well, before I found Amanda, my brows looked like emaciated neighbors. The lady at the wax/nail salon I had been frequenting was slowly making my brows thinner and more misshapen with each visit. Amanda helped me get them back to their proper size while still keeping them presentable during regrowth. I won't let anyone else near my brows again and I would drive however far for Amanda's magic touch. I'm so excited to try her new facials and let her put her perfectionism and attention to detail to work on my skin! Did I mention that she's incredibly sweet too? Seriously, people, what are you waiting for? Let her get your brows in sisterly shape today! read more
