I use the print version more often than online... well, because Yelp and they don't always have undated info online so if you see a copy in your local store, grab it. I always get my from Downtown Credo. My favorite things about each issue is the seasonal fruits and veggie lists and the recipes. I am terrible at knowing when and what is in season. Each issue I print out the list and put it in my cookbook. They host healthy Cooking demos at events, promote tons of local events, and host their own events. This publication reminds us that buying food from locally-owned businesses strengthens our economy and supports Florida's farmers and fishermen. And, it's healthy for you! Love that! Living in Orlando has really opened my eyes up to eating local and supporting sustainability. I love that there are so many passionate locals that do work like this that helps spread the word.

I LOVED IT. I've been meaning to read more into my tarot books, but it always ends up getting forgotten about and whenever I do a tarot reading for a friend, I have to lookup the meaning in my book rather than knowing immediately what the cards mean. Deanna was so knowledgeable on each card and made the experience immersive and collaborative. She passed the card around the circle to have each person say what they notice about the card or feelings the card induces. This class was very valuable and I took many notes that I will look back on for my tarot journey. Their concept of their book store as an immersivd sensory experience is something I hadn't heard of before and was really intrigued by. West was able to assist me and recommended a couple books that happened to be on my TBR. She was very friendly and helpful in guiding me with the experience. Their selection of sensory items were all cute and I ended up choosing a pair of socks, sparkling tea, and a cup. Depending on the genre of the book of your choosing, there is also a playlist that goes along with it. I think it's also awesome that they have a lounge space where they can host events. It's amazing to see the growth of this concept that started out as a subscription box, and now has a brick and mortar here in Orlando. It mostly focuses on entertainment, so if you need to know who's playing where and what the drink specials are, this is your up to date source. Of course, on the back pages you'll find lots of ads for "outcall masseuses" and phone sex lines, but it still has some interesting content. Steve Schneider is sometimes brilliant, Billy Manes is everyones favorite gay scenester, and Happytown and Council Watch can be a fascinating read. Be sure to take the restaurant reviews with a grain of salt, though; although well written, they tend to praise their advertisers. How can you complain, its published every Thursday and its FREE!

The content is really kind of "one track mind", and customer relations and community feedback are ignored often, but if you want to know the best place in town for a beer, burger, or vegan hot dog.... this is the paper to read. Just don't forget that it's operating on mostly a buddy system and many fantastic artists in Orlando are often just not credited. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. While we wish they sold more masks and costume accessories, we were pleasantly surprised by how many cool items they did have. The store is very clean and well-organized. Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!

Nice shop and Great customer service…read more While I mainly look for vintage figures the shop seemed to have a nice mix of modern and vintage depending on what you're looking for. They also had a nice selection of comics. My main collecting focus right now is old Mattel Secret Wars figures, while I didn't see any of those the Horror Figure section caught my eye. We ended up leaving with a set of Halloween 3 Toony Terrors and 2 of the 2012 Figures Toy Company reproduction Mego Mad Monster figures. All in all a solid shop we'll stop at whenever we're in town.
