Great selection of comic books. There store is easy to find right on colonial and plenty of parking in the parking lot.

2017's Yelp 100 Challenge 54/100 The comic books, busts, and general geek stuff was pretty cool, but the selection was lacking. This review is mostly about the way my boyfriend and I were treated while visiting this establishment. While perusing the pop figures and having discussions about which fluxx games we have and didn't have, we were constantly followed by a dark haired gentleman. Standing in front of the batsman busy? He's a foot away. Discussing the doctor who pop figures I was missing from my collection? He was staring at a Spider-Man one not two feet away. Discussing magic cards and other table games? He almost bumped into me. I'm sure in the neighborhood the comic store is in you probably have to worry about theft and people attempting to make a run for it, but the only reason we didn't buy anything and left relatively quickly was the fact that we felt like we were being singled out. There were about 6 other customers in the store: 3 being helped, another 3 wandering around. Yet we were the ones being closely monitored? Won't be going back ever again.

Cool store with so many choices in animation, comic books, action figures and board games. Big place to walk around in. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable. A must check out when walking around the fashion square mall.

    They moved downstairs.

Are you a fellow nerd in the east Orlando area? This shop is probably for you then. Comics, action figures, Funko POPs, game nights, and more can all be found here! Staff is friendly and quick to answer questions. They are knowledgeable about a variety of genres and definitely nerd friendly. I've found stuff for my car and several POPs here. Overall: A Good spot for the nerd in us all!

This a fantastic Comic shop! It is bright and welcoming. They have a large inventory of comics and, more importantly the comics are organized wonderfully. The staff is friendly. They have tons of $0.50 back issues so if you're thinking of starting a new series or you're a parent with kids looking to read adventurous stories, this is a great place to come. They also have nicely appointed gaming space for Warhammer, D&D, or other games. They also carry Warhammer figures and Citadel paints, brushes, painting handles and more. This is one of multiple Coliseum of Comics stores in the area and I would whole heartedly recommend them all!

This location of Coliseum of Comics is great. It's convenient to the Orlando area and easy to get in and out of without going through the entire mall (if you don't want to visit the rest of the mall). The employees and owner are all super nice and very knowledgeable. They greet you when you walk in, ask if you need help, but let you pursue the store on your own as well. You don't need to be a die hard comic fan to shop here, they are open and great to everyone, no snobbery here. They have events throughout the year, supporting local charities and artists, and bringing comics to the community. I really appreciate this!

Great place that holds a variety of comics and geek stuff. Plus they hold events, competitions and much more. I have not seen a Coliseum of Comics that has disappointed me.

This store is right at home in Fashion Square Mall. It's a good size and doesn't feel cramped like other comic book stores. I can walk around without feeling like I'm going to bump into something I can't afford to replace. Speaking of which, they've got a lot of nice collectibles. If I had the money (or space at home) I'd snatch a bunch of it up!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. While we wish they sold more masks and costume accessories, we were pleasantly surprised by how many cool items they did have. The store is very clean and well-organized. Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!

They also had a nice selection of comics. My main collecting focus right now is old Mattel Secret Wars figures, while I didn't see any of those the Horror Figure section caught my eye. We ended up leaving with a set of Halloween 3 Toony Terrors and 2 of the 2012 Figures Toy Company reproduction Mego Mad Monster figures. All in all a solid shop we'll stop at whenever we're in town.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

I arrive soon after they opened and interacted with the employees immediately. I was told and if I need anything to just let them know, and I just said, dice. They appointed me to the back of the store and told me where they would be. I wandered them back and took a look at their selection. I immediately found a set that would fit the bill for this occasion. I looked through a bunch of the store before having someone get them from the cabinet for me. I felt that I did really good because I only bought one comic book. I love these stores because everyone is friendly that works in them and I can always find way too many things that I want to buy. If you have young children that are struggling to start reading, you should consider starting them on comic books and getting them to actually read the words in them because it has been proven that children who start with comic books tend to learn to read younger, and then read throughout their lives . Obviously, you should only buy things that you feel are safe for your children, and there is always something to fit that bill.

She was outstanding, professional, and kind. This review is strictly about how the owner chose to handle the situation. I went in looking to buy a structure deck for the new Gundam card game that just released. The staff member confirmed they had four decks in stock, but said they weren't selling them yet because they hadn't received their full shipment and were worried about scalpers. I completely understood that concern, so I explained I only wanted one deck for myself. Even then, she said the owner refused to sell them because they wanted to use the decks for an event to teach people how to play. I mentioned I wouldn't be able to attend the event and just wanted to buy the product, but they still said no. I honestly don't know how they're going to run an event with only four structure decks. It's frustrating to be turned away when they clearly had the product in stock, especially since I've had several good experiences with this shop in the past. Again, I really appreciate how well the staff member handled the situation. Unfortunately, the owner's decision here made for a very disappointing experience. If you're looking for Gundam products, this is not the store to go to.
