Friendly staff and friendly tournament players, the shop has plenty of room to play, and there's a tournament going on almost every night of the week. There are even larger yugioh tournaments hosted here like regionals, if you are interested in that. The fact that it is in the mall is also nice due to the close food and generally relaxed feeling of the place. Overall I recommend this place if you are looking to for a local tournament hosting card shop.

My husband said he felt like some of the kits were marked up and then a discount was applied to make it the same price as Amazon. But supporting places like this is important. It's so nice of them to host something like this esp during the summer. They even carry Catan to try out which Ive never played and wanted to but well have to see if I can catch someone else playing it so I can learn from them.. lol. Also, the owner was very welcoming and I appreciated how the atmosphere felt here. They also have a big wall of what you can tell are very good selections and my boys were impressed with all the latest and greatest comics they carry. I arrive soon after they opened and interacted with the employees immediately. I was told and if I need anything to just let them know, and I just said, dice. They appointed me to the back of the store and told me where they would be. I wandered them back and took a look at their selection. I immediately found a set that would fit the bill for this occasion. I looked through a bunch of the store before having someone get them from the cabinet for me. I felt that I did really good because I only bought one comic book. I love these stores because everyone is friendly that works in them and I can always find way too many things that I want to buy. If you have young children that are struggling to start reading, you should consider starting them on comic books and getting them to actually read the words in them because it has been proven that children who start with comic books tend to learn to read younger, and then read throughout their lives . Obviously, you should only buy things that you feel are safe for your children, and there is always something to fit that bill.

They have a large selection of Current Comics and a fair selection of comics from the 1960s and 1970s. Laid out nicely, and easy to browse through. There are also boxes of consignment comics to check out. Then there are quite a few Sale comics 25 cents plus boxes at 50% off, so lots of selections for the casual buyer. Of course they also have figurines and games. Owners are very knowledgeable and said they can also search for a specific comic title or issue. Check it out.

Every person there was very friendly and helpful. Even though there was a tournament going on, they were kind enough to sit with me and explain things, and I even played a game before the night was over. I came in here to get a few books for gifts and was a bit out of my element, but it was a cool overall experience and I walked out with a couple of comics that I think the gift recipients will enjoy. I was in the Downtown Leesburg, FL area with my friend Tanya she had some stuff to pick up in the…read morearea but couldn't get it till 1pm. So while we were waiting I remembered there was a comic-book/collectibles shop in town, I knew this from all the times I have been to the Downtown Leesburg area and wanting to go inside the shop but never had enough time to go inside. First thing that I loved about the shop was the pretty lit name Not Just Cardboard which I thought was a really clever name for the type of shop it was. So once I entered the establishment I was transported to a Magical Land of throwback collectibles, yesteryear toys, toys from my childhood, throwback sport jersey, and an amazing collection of old and new comic books. I saw some toys inside there that I haven't see since I was a little kid, like the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Morphing Action figures from the original toy line of the show which I believe are really hard to find if your a collector. The store is owned and operated by these three guys Mike, Mark, and Dave I was able to chat it up with both Mark and Mike both were really nice guys who had great customer service. They both really knew their stuff about the things they were selling in their shop very knowledgeable. They wanted me to let anyone who was making their way to the shop that they were in the middle of a remodel and that that's why it might look a little disorganized in the shop right now but that they are still open and that once the remodel is over its going to be a even more of a Magical Place for everyone who visit the shop. This kinda a shops are the shops that I love because you never know what you might find you could find something new or something that's is old but you will always find something magical that brings joy to your life and reminds you of how life should be lived because life is short and should be lived to the fullest.
