So this is my second time coming to the comic book shop and damn did they not disappoint. I picked up a couple of new Harley Quinn books for my Harley Quinn collector at home. And I picked up two dollar comics from the villain amethyst in the DC comics era. If you collect Funko, or comics, or any other collector toy items I highly recommend coming to living at Data comics!! read more

Very friendly and great group of patrons for magic the gathering. I came to the store for limited and loved the ambiance of the place. They have an older play group that is experienced in drafting/limited. It was a blast to play with them. Pricing was amazing for the events and prize payout was good too. They really try to keep it affordable and just make it so everyone can have a great time hanging out. They have a great selection of collectibles and comics. I would highly recommend checking them out and giving this store your business. 10/10 read more

I happened to be driving by this store and realized it was comic book day so I figured why not check it out. The place is small but filled to the rafters with lots of merchandise. They have other stuff too, like action figures and Funko figures as well. The huge comic book wall had some comics featured that you could buy to take to Megacon to have signed by the artist which was cool. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and I assume there was extra staff working due to it being comic book day. I noticed 4 employees working. Certainly a great place to stop. read more

It is my opinion that we need to start supporting small businesses. well in Orlando I have visited a couple small stores in the area and I stopped by this one today after my job training. Love this place. I can always get recommendations for my kids or myself. The owner even remembers my purchases and recommends new books that are in the same universe or storyline that I may not have known were coming out. Loads of collectibles. I got a whole set of the old Burger King Star Wars glasses from when I was a kid for a super fair price. Binders of magic cards singles are available for sale as well as loads of packs and supplies. My wife and I aren't comic book readers, but enjoy the culture so we stopped in on a whim. The dudes working the place were chill and up for chatting, had a great vibe going, and the selection of thousands of new and vintage comics, and a hilarious wall of Pop Vinyls kept us interested for hours. Just recently moved to Orlando and have been collecting Star Wars Books/Comics for a while now. Let me tell you... this place has everything you can think of. Not to mention, the customer service is great. I forgot the name of the cashier, but that dude was awesome and knew exactly what I was looking for. Got two Star Wars epic collection comics for buy one and another half off. Absolutely made my day since they were going at ridiculous prices on ebay/amazon. He told me nothing makes him happier than seeing people getting comics they have been looking for. This place should be anyone's go to comic book store. read more

Went to check this place out as a recommendation. Disappointed to see the hike in prices on everything in shop but more upset with the rude customer service. A friend asked if the masks were mandated in store and the man replied with a snarky smart comment of we don't tell adults how to run their lives with some attitude. Never made the trip to the store, the guy on the phone was Knowledgeable I am where I need to go for the Comic that I needed but he came off kind of rude on the phone you might have a better experience going in the store all in general but seem like all I wanna do is get me off the phone instead of helping me. If I was to go to the store I'd give the guy 4 stars cause he might have something else I'm looking for just seemed to act like he didn't want to help me while talking on the phone. :( read more

On Free Comic Book Day, we decided to take most of the CtK crew on a tour of Orlando's comic shops. When this one came up in our searches, we were a bit confused, because we had never heard of it before. We stopped at this shop near the beginning of our day. Having been open only six weeks, they only had a few free comic books. They made up for this 100% by having awesome, friendly owners who really seem to love what they are doing. Their prices are competitive with other comic shops in the area and they have some hard to find books that you can't find anywhere else. We have been back a few times since then and will make it a point to stop by anytime we are in the area. read more

I am a crack (comic) addict, and a new dealer has set up shop. When Free Comic Book Day arrived, we set up a plan to hit as many shops as possible. I was surprised when this place showed up on Google Maps, because it is pretty close to home. We stopped in and the owners were just unlocking the door to start the day. They are very friendly and fun, and chatting with them is easy. They have an envious collection of collectible comics that makes it difficult to keep money in my pocket. A few nights before our visit, I was telling my son about an awesome Star Wars book I read when I was in kindergarten (look at the big brain on Brett). As I looked through the books, a big smile rolled across my face. There in my hand was a copy of the very same book I read so many years ago. It's not Acme comics, it's a fairly small store. Pretty much a hole-in-the-wall type place but since I recently moved right down the street (half of a mile walk) and I was a long-time customer of Acme I figured I'll give this place a try and do my subscriptions here! Boy was I right! As the months went on, the more and more friendlier customer service got. I have well over 15 subscriptions there and, though there are times where orders get misplaced, the staff is always there to help and know you by name! This is the best comic shop in the area. Area being north of I drive and south of winter park. The owner is super nice and is a avid comic reader and fan of all things geeky. They get the best books every week. Not just marvel and dc but the indies as well.They don't over charge for variant covers.Super small store but it has everything you could want.Also has tons of POP's and toys. read more

But what you get at living dead is a warm welcome, good selection of comic and a great collection of cards. If they don't have it, they'll find it for you and give you the best price. I usually try to support local businesses by shopping there. Especially if the business happens to be in my area. Living Dead Comics is located in the same shopping plaza with several other stores I shop at on a regular business. So coming here is convenient for me. Living Dead Comics has a great selection of comic books, collectibles for anything related to comics, fantasy, science fiction, and horror. And there is a game table located in the back of the store, which is popular with many customers. Several times during past visits, the game table always attracts several guests. Which makes for a great social environment for people who share the same interest. Like my niece and her husband, who have a weekly game night with several friends. Game of Thrones is one of their favorite television shows. As like their game nights, they have a watch party when a new episode premieres. Being fans of the show, I decided that I would do some Christmas shopping here and visit Living Dead Comics to see what they had to offer for Game of Thrones fans. A patron entered before me. And as I entered, he already struck up a conversation with the employee behind the counter. As I walked through the store, not once did the employee working the counter acknowledge me. No "Hello.", or even a "May I help you find anything of interest?". As I left, I did get a "Have a nice day." Yeah, I know. Make sure the door does not hit my ass on the way out. I really appreciate customer service whenever I go shopping. Even if the store does not have what I am looking for, but the salesperson has offered to assist me in looking for that item. I really appreciate their help. And it is nice to have someone smile when they ask "May I help you?" I also do not mind if a salesperson is talking to another salesperson or a customer. But if another customer should be present, what is the problem of telling that person that you will be with them shortly. Or so much as saying "hello". If that is the case, I will take my business elsewhere. As I said, if you are a fan of comic books and collectibles, this is a great store to go to. Living Dead Comics has a great selection. And if you or someone you know is a fan of The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, or Star Wars, this is a place to shop. But the customer service can leave something to be desired. And to the employee working the counter the day I was here, you blew a sale. Which disappoints me since I really like to support local area businesses such as this one. read more
