The cutest female owned Taylor Swift themed romance book store. Whenever I am in a different city, I like to visit independent book stores and buy books as "souvenirs" of my travels. I love this neighborhood within the Orlando area. The shop is in a small strip mall with parking in front. The decor is adorable and several spots for cute photo moments. They offer a variety of romance genres and all the merch is so great. Stickers, bookmarks, apparel, candles, art and so much more! The prices are in line with what I would expect and I like to support independents. I bought a book and several stickers. The gal working was helpful and kind. Now go visit them!

We stopped by because we were at a nearby restaurant. It was my first time in the store but I had heard about all the hype. It's such a cute store. I was worried it was going to be all cute romances, but they have a wide selection of romance. The saleswoman was so knowledgeable, and they had adorable trickers and journals. I got a cute claw clip, a planner, and a romance. I can't wait to visit again.

This is the cutest, little bookstore and the employees are very helpful. If you need a recommendation for any type of romance-themed book, you HAVE to go here. They have a wide selection, plus, you can pre-order books too. They hold several author meet-and-greets throughout the year. I would recommend following them on social media to see all the fun events.

In love with this bookstore! This locally owned and romance themed bookstore is amazing! The aesthetic is apparent even from the outside. The staff is super friendly and willing to help. Everything is organized by category. From accessories and bags, to genres of books, there's so much to look at and explore. There's a cozy hangout area in the front and they even have their own themed apparel and bags. Such a good value and you are supporting locally. The bookstore also works with other local businesses and host events like book clubs and authors signings. A must for any book lover in Orlando!

A romance themed bookstore! I don't need to say more but I will! I loved this cozy and cute store. It was welcoming and very well organized. They have their shelves organized easily into genres. They also have lots of little gifts for any book lover. In fact, they carry hair bows from one of my favorite brands!! Last plus for this store is that it's mildly Taylor Swift themed.

Whether you're just starting to explore romance novels or have been doing so for decades, this special place has exactly what you need. I've been reading romance long before I should have (thanks to my mother's not-so-well-hidden collection), so I was thrilled when The New Romantics opened in Orlando and have frequented it ever since. Everyone who works there is a delight, and I'm incredibly proud to see how much Jane, the owner, has done to get this store up and running and to build the community it has. They offer a wonderful selection of books, with plenty of sub-genres to choose from, and tons of bookish goodies you don't need but will end up buying anyway. If you love visiting romance-only bookstores, this one definitely deserves a spot on your list.

After a book convention a friend and I stopped in here before dinner. She has been following them since before they opened on Instagram. She told me about them which had me following them instantly. Apparently not good enough, though, because I missed when Kayla Grosse was there over the summer. Still kicking myself about that missed opportunity. I digress... It is a cute shop. I do wish there was a little more space to look at the books. On a Saturday evening with 15 or so people in there, we were squeezing each other. 15.10.2025

It was my first time going!! I had heard about this place and I finally got the chance to go. Everything is so neatly organized, and some areas have a synopsis of the books which I really appreciated. They had cute little trinkets for kindles, stickers and bookmarks. I really loved this store and would love to go back. I didn't get a book this time but I did get some cute little stickers. The cashier was extremely nice, and asked everyone in the shop if they needed help. The value of the items seemed fair, from the stickers, trinkets to the books. The stickers came out to $4 each, which wasn't bad. Please shop local!!

Lovely mother/daughter date to The New Romantics Bookstore. It's a cute store with a nice selection of books that span many different & inclusive genres. Romantasy, BIPOC authors, LGBTQ+, strong female leads, YA's, dark fantasy, & a small section of popular books translated into Spanish. There are journals for day & night reflection. There are a plethora of pretty bookmarks, trinkets, lots of stickers, cups, pens, kindle covers, framed prints and candles. The staff is helpful and went above & beyond. They thought the book I was buying had an available signed author copy, they found it & my day was made. They have the cutest stamp & embossed, that you can stamp or emboss your book with a TBR from The New Romantics. Such a nice touch! It's is a delightful place to spend some time, pick up a few books and book accessories! The prices are what you would expect from any bookstore that is not amz. All the things they do are evident that they are true book lovers and love book people!

I love small local bookstores. I love a romance bookstore! Throw in some Taylor Swift? I definitely had to check this store out when visiting family in Florida. It was everything I hoped it would be. Great selection in books and special versions too. I'm a sucker for stickers and bought a whole bunch of those too!

The cutest bookstore! I've been wanting to visit this bookstore since it first opened. It is located across the street from east end market, in the same plaza as Kelly's Ice Cream aka the perfect little funday of treats and books! When you walk in, the vibe is instantly happy. The books are sorted by genre with some merch and new releases up front. There is also a local authors section which I thought was great. Books are the value you'd expect. There is a little sitting area in the front and a selfie wall in the back. I bought two books and the reason I bought one of them was because the attendant at the register absolutely raved about it with (and I quote) "it wrecked me in the best way possible" to which I said "where is that book???" It is infectious in the best way when you see people as passionate about books as we are walking in. Makes for a very authentic experience. All in all, I cant wait to go back and check out some of their merch and romantasy collection additions.

This place is bad news for my bank account. Absolutely brilliant business idea! Local woman-owned and totally, fearlessly catered to romance readers. Lots of little bookish accessories sprinkled throughout like candles devoted to your favorite book boyfriend, themed hair clips, shopping bags, book magnets, pop sockets with bookish sayings, book annotation kits, I could go on! Each shelf is marked by theme, which made finding what I was looking for super easy and helped me introduce myself to nuanced genres within the romance umbrella. Definitely a 5 star experience, and an adorable addition to the Orlando small business landscape! I can't wait to bring my friends here when they come in town.

As a book lover, like I mean has too many books and put themselves in a book ban book lover, this was like walking into the land of my people. While I'm not a romance reader (always enjoy a good romance but a good variety of genres keeps me happy), this place has my heart. I visited with my friend (shoutout to Julie!). I've had this place on my radar since they had less than 100 followers on Instagram and it's been crazy to see that they finally opened. They are exactly as they advertise. A romance book store. There is nothing else besides romance books, cute stickers and merch. While I had to commend them for their wide selection of books, I have to mention if you are not a romance fan. The book selection will bore you. The merch is cute and quite tempting but since I was trying to restraint myself from buying the entire store (I can't buy just one book, I buy 5-7 at a time), I didn't indulge in the slightly pricey merch. The books are average in their pricing. It's no different than Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble or even Target when it comes to the price. I can't really say anything about the service as the cashier kept to herself (she was NOT rude at all, just minimal interaction, no biggie). The store is very beautiful and they were constantly busy with both book deliveries during my twenty to thirty minutes there and filled with people. I love how they have book an indoor seating area and outdoor one. Definitely a place to add to your insta stories or show off to friends. Their only major con is parking. I went there on a Thursday (this place is PACKED in the store and parking). And finding parking was NOT possible. I need you guys to really plan how you are going to park here because Thursday's is when Chiffon Culture is closed which means I wasn't fighting to find parking in the tiny parking lot with goers of the popular cafe. I struggled to find parking (there was NONE, I parked my car in an awkward spot and was praying no one hit it while I was in the shop). I can't imagine how bad it is on the weekend or any other day of the week. Also as someone who lives rather far from this park (this was a hour drive with traffic), I would definitely come back with a friend and make a day out of this which is what I did today. It's worth seeing once as it is the first romance bookstore in Orlando. It's pretty in there and you are surrounded by book lovers (paradise for me). So if you are a book lover like me and want to be surrounded by cute book related things, then you need to head over here at least once and make a day out of this especially since you are near East End, Mills and so much more. Definitely need to go back ASAP.

FINALLY had a Saturday off, and I'm so sad I wasn't able to make it out here before now. I also brought a bag of books to sell. The processing for the books I brought took about 30 minutes (it was an IKEA bag FULL, I just needed to transfer to one of their bins). That gave me time to look around and see what they might have. Not all of my books were accepted, which was fine, because the reason this place is so big and yet does such good business is that the books are well currated to ensure that they are desirable. Older books, or less desirable are kept down to one copy, whereas more popular books may have three or four of the same book, but the book is popular enough that it will be sold. Value wise, the rare, signed, and first editions area is VERY reasonably priced. Value for books brought in is given as either cash (I was given a lesser amount this way) or store credit I walked out with a few of the sequels of book series I have the first and maybe second of, but this way I could complete the series for less. I also found a few books on my TBR that were available. Books are indeed at used book prices, not hugely marked up, so overall I considered the visit a huge win. Overall, I guess my complaint is only that this is the only location, and I wish there was a sister store more toward central or even the west side of Orlando.

It's always hit-or-miss, so each time I go; I never know what I'll find. There's also a little sitting area with coffee or hot cocoa, if you so desire. How much are the used books? We were on our way to a concert and I had about 30 minutes to look for a few music books, which I found with the staff's help. I have to say that the staff were great and knew exactly where they kept the music books, good job! It's good to know this store has a variety of music books to choose from and for the most part they are organized well, except the ones on the floor. You just have to dig a little. I chose two Faber level III piano books and a Bastien level III piano technique book. The Bastien book was only $2 but it has a lot of notes from previous students. The two Faber books were $6 each and virtually untouched, excellent! Some of the books are on the pricey side, especially some of these old music books, they are asking $20 when the covers are missing and music score is illegible. I just don't see myself spending that much when I can put that $20 towards a brand new book series or Henle Album of exceptional quality. Regardless, I want to support local, and have been very happy with my purchase. I will return again to see what I missed on my previous visit. If you love book stores, this is a good one and definitely worth the stop.
