Along with the books, they had a lot of stickers and curated items. Even though the store is small, you could definitely spend a long time looking in there. The girls working at the counter were super sweet. They are happy to answer any questions and give book recommendations. Side note: if you ask for change for the little print machine, they'll give it to you even though they are cashless. Overall, this place was super welcoming and engaging. Adorable, local Latina owned Romance bookstore. Staff is super friendly, and very knowledgeable. Hosts for the Yelp book swap event I got to attend, and directly across from East End Market. Incredible selection of romance books, clearly marked by genre within sections of the store, and a great selection of bookish merch- stickers, kindle port charms, kindle covers, glass tumblers, tote bags and more. Prices are incredibly reasonable, especially if you happen to get a new release or an autographed copy of a book! Be sure to check out the local author area- this store has a greater selection than many I have seen! Be aware, parking in the lot directly in front of the store can be hard- but, street parking is an option, and depending on time of day there's a school about a block away with parking that several businesses nearby utilize after school- but, if visiting during the school year, be aware of after school activities in the lot, keep speed down, and follow the directional signs. East End market IS across the street, so if you visit there and make the short walk, you can take advantage of the entire neighborhood and all it has to offer! read more

What an adorable romance bookstore. It's right across the street from East End market and my coworker and I walked over to check it out after learning about them from the Yelp event the night before. It's so girly and I love all the pink and the purple and of course, I love a great Taylor Swift reference which they had everywhere in store and in their name. They have a large selection of romance books and different stickers, bags, and just so many cute little trinkets for book lovers. As a book lover I had my eye on visiting this place for a while, finding out it was Latina owned was very special as well, the owner is so kind! I had the opportunity of visiting thanks to a Yelp Event, and it was such a cute store!! Everything was clearly categorized and diverse there's something for everyone to enjoy from Gothic to LGBTQIA to Spanish Language books to Romantasy etc ; But aside from books if you are looking for cute gifts they have a lot of unique items, I thought it was so nice they had blind date books too. The area it's situated in is a very quaint neighborhood as well, you can park out front or if you're comfortable a block away is a nearby school with parking as well which makes a nice walk to the store. The cutest female owned Taylor Swift themed romance book store. Whenever I am in a different city, I like to visit independent book stores and buy books as "souvenirs" of my travels. I love this neighborhood within the Orlando area. The shop is in a small strip mall with parking in front. The decor is adorable and several spots for cute photo moments. This is an adorable bookstore just a few minutes walk from East End Market! I learned about New Romantics during a Yelp event at the Orlando Science Center, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The interior is cute and photogenic, with lots of fun, girly details throughout. This is a romance bookstore, with a wide variety of offerings in sub-genres like "romantasy," young adult, dark romance, and more! I didn't purchase a book on this visit, but I did pick out a pretty new bookmark, a Snoopy keychain, and some bookish stickers. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself spending a lot of time here, and stocking up on plenty of books. I also noted the expansive event offerings with visiting authors! I was so excited to visit this cute bookstore--it was on my list of places to visit in Orlando. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming. One employee was rather rude to one of my travel companions when he asked to use the restroom. I understand and respect the store's paying-customer policy. I politely explained that he was with me and had purchased a book in accordance with the policy, but the interaction still left a negative impression. On a positive note, another employee we encountered during our visit was very kind and friendly. Everything is so neatly organized, and some areas have a synopsis of the books which I really appreciated. They had cute little trinkets for kindles, stickers and bookmarks. Romantasy, BIPOC authors, LGBTQ+, strong female leads, YA's, dark fantasy, & a small section of popular books translated into Spanish. There are journals for day & night reflection. There are a plethora of pretty bookmarks, trinkets, lots of stickers, cups, pens, kindle covers, framed prints and candles. The staff is helpful and went above & beyond. They thought the book I was buying had an available signed author copy, they found it & my day was made. They have the cutest stamp & embossed, that you can stamp or emboss your book with a TBR from The New Romantics. Such a nice touch! It's is a delightful place to spend some time, pick up a few books and book accessories! The prices are what you would expect from any bookstore that is not amz. The cutest bookstore! I've been wanting to visit this bookstore since it first opened. It is located across the street from east end market, in the same plaza as Kelly's Ice Cream aka the perfect little funday of treats and books! When you walk in, the vibe is instantly happy. The books are sorted by genre with some merch and new releases up front. There is also a local authors section which I thought was great. Books are the value you'd expect. There is a little sitting area in the front and a selfie wall in the back. I bought two books and the reason I bought one of them was because the attendant at the register absolutely raved about it with (and I quote) "it wrecked me in the best way possible" to which I said "where is that book???" It is infectious in the best way when you see people as passionate about books as we are walking in. Makes for a very authentic experience. All in all, I cant wait to go back and check out some of their merch and romantasy collection additions. read more

They have a massive selection that represents so many and take pride in diversity. Even if you don't think you're a romance reader, you'd be surprised at how much there is to offer -- from every sort of romance genre you can imagine (which is how I learned I actually am a romance reader!), to bookish crafts and audiobook walking clubs, to the cutest trinkets, shirts, and stickers sourced from other small businesses. As a book lover, like I mean has too many books and put themselves in a book ban book lover, this was like walking into the land of my people. While I'm not a romance reader (always enjoy a good romance but a good variety of genres keeps me happy), this place has my heart. I visited with my friend (shoutout to Julie!). I've had this place on my radar since they had less than 100 followers on Instagram and it's been crazy to see that they finally opened. They are exactly as they advertise. A romance book store. There is nothing else besides romance books, cute stickers and merch. While I had to commend them for their wide selection of books, I have to mention if you are not a romance fan. The book selection will bore you. The merch is cute and quite tempting but since I was trying to restraint myself from buying the entire store (I can't buy just one book, I buy 5-7 at a time), I didn't indulge in the slightly pricey merch. The books are average in their pricing. It's no different than Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble or even Target when it comes to the price. I can't really say anything about the service as the cashier kept to herself (she was NOT rude at all, just minimal interaction, no biggie). The store is very beautiful and they were constantly busy with both book deliveries during my twenty to thirty minutes there and filled with people. I love how they have book an indoor seating area and outdoor one. Definitely a place to add to your insta stories or show off to friends. Their only major con is parking. I went there on a Thursday (this place is PACKED in the store and parking). And finding parking was NOT possible. I need you guys to really plan how you are going to park here because Thursday's is when Chiffon Culture is closed which means I wasn't fighting to find parking in the tiny parking lot with goers of the popular cafe. I struggled to find parking (there was NONE, I parked my car in an awkward spot and was praying no one hit it while I was in the shop). I can't imagine how bad it is on the weekend or any other day of the week. Also as someone who lives rather far from this park (this was a hour drive with traffic), I would definitely come back with a friend and make a day out of this which is what I did today. It's worth seeing once as it is the first romance bookstore in Orlando. It's pretty in there and you are surrounded by book lovers (paradise for me). So if you are a book lover like me and want to be surrounded by cute book related things, then you need to head over here at least once and make a day out of this especially since you are near East End, Mills and so much more. It's diverse (featuring book sections with diverse authors, a large Spanish section, and some fun ones too!) yet pink and fun. I love the pink!
