Then they said more parts needed to be replaced. They kept on doing this until they completely broke the working heating system. They left these two elderly people without heat for two weeks. Then they claimed they could not fix it and charged $1689 for a system that they broke. Upon calling them they refused to drop the charges and instead have been charging finance charges. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

If the customer is not covered for reasons out of their control I can hear the heartbreak, but most of the time it's covered so the office is almost always in a good mood. I wish more people would sign up for HomeServe, it makes me feel good telling customers that I am there to help them without having to charge them hundreds or thousands of dollars. What should have been a straightforward installation has turned into a month of frustration, inconvenience, and poor customer service. One day I came home to find my kitchen flooded because the pump they installed failed. They replaced it but 14 minutes later it still does not work properly. Since then have had 5 or 6 different technicians come to our home, and the issue still hasn;t been resolved. The most recent technician told us he had never even seen that type of pump before. He looked at it,walked out to to his truck to fill out paper work and never returned. He just left! Weve made countless phone calls trying to get someone to help us, but getting a response has been nearly impossible. We rarely receive return calls and our air conditioning is still not working. No customer should have to deal with repeated equipment failures, water damage, multiple service visits, and a complete lack of communication after paying for a brand new system. We expected reliable service and professional support, but instead we have been left chasing answers while living without a functioning air conditioner. I also suffer from auto immune issues and this has effected my daily day by day through the high temperatures. I cannot recommend HomeServe based on our experience. The installation, follow-up service, and customer support have all been extremely disappointing. We have an eyesore of some sort of contraption in my kitchen right now just so we have no leaks or floods .. We also had to pay $600 to have the wall fixed which they claimed they needed to open up but did nothing when they did. We found Home Serve the PSEG, they have a contract with them and even show up in on of their trucks. We thought by choosing them, it was a reputable company.
