The other reverse osmosis water is good too at 50 cents a gallon, but having read about optimal hydration, the Kangen is our favorite and it's still a better value than buying the equivalent at a market.

I didn't really know what to expect of this place, but a friend had recently "introduced" me to water store water, and after having drunk mostly Brita filtered water at home, and the occasional Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, or Costco bottled water when needed, her water was so much more crisp and clean-tasting, more Smart Water than Dasani (which I believe is universally despised). So I went over there, a small shop with two automated water dispensers outside built into the wall, and inside, different sized water bottles and a counter-area on the right with various types of water. The man working there was curt but professional. I was clearly a newbie and eventually settled on a 5-gallon water bottle that was around $26, as well as a pump also about $26, and he filled my bottle with the reverse osmosis water which was $0.50/gallon. The 5-gallon water bottle was one of two more expensive ones which he said would last some 10 years, and the pump was very easy to install and negated the need of a separate dispenser with a spigot to drink out of. I've since gone two other times using the automated dispenser outside. It takes both cash and card, but there is something like a $0.75 upcharge for using credit, and I believe the machine only takes $1 bills so bring 1's.

Been coming here for years now after the local grocery store with its 4 vending machines closed…read moredown and I see no reason to stop. We usually come in with 5-6 big jugs and 1 small one we had left over. The whole process goes like this: 1. You hand the empty gallons over. If you have a lot, put them one one of the two carts they have lying around. 2. The water guy takes each of the gallons and gives it a quick rinse before setting them under a faucet (up to six at a time). 3. While the water fills up, he throws away the older cap and replaces with a new one unless the lid is a screw-in. Hopefully he recycles the old ones. 4. Either he or you grab the filled up water gallon, pay him, and be on your merry way. You can also buy alkaline water, ice, and maybe extra gallons & dispensers. Since it is a small business, sometimes there are used movies and video games they're trying to get rid of. I do wonder why there is a newspaper pic of some Armenian soccer player at the place. There used to be a Latino guy and he was pretty chill. He even explained that the quality of water is constantly checked by safety inspectors to make sure the water is properly filtered and cleaner than tap water. But he left and now there are some Armenians that take his place. When you go depends on who you get: either some one who rather not be there, or a cheery guy who tries his best to get your business. They both pale in comparison to the former guy, but what can you do? There is a parking lot that is empty most of the time, but I always just park in front of place by the corner as that's faster. Almost everyone has the same idea and does that too, so keep that in mind. If you come at a time that they are closed, they do have two machines outside. I wouldn't recommend it, as they're not maintained often. Otherwise the water quality is superb! That, along with the good value and fast speed makes it my regular everytime we are running low.

They will look at your car and ask you to move your car away from the business. They only want their friends and ethnicity to have those parking spaces. When you type in 430 North Glenoaks Water Ice nothing pulls up because they don't want you to write a yelp review but I have seen many times the same employees and managers owners working at both locations. I personally can't stand both of these locations because they are rude and look at you like you don't belong at our business so leave. When the water gets warm leaving in room temperature it will taste like toilet water which I have told both locations about and NO REFUND. There is something scammy going on at both locations with the water issue tasting like toilet water when the water in the water jug gets warm. You can smell the water in the water jug and it smells very weird when the water gets warm.

In laws about to arrive for a barbeque and wife tells me that the sink is not draining properly, few minutes after that we noticed the bathtub get filled up with, let's just say stinky water. Long story short we had a main line blockage. Never happened before, so panicking I remembered that my neighbor used these plumbers a week or two ago, that he raved about how honest and trustworthy they were, and they did a great job with his plumbing work. Three positive adjectives describing plumbers (who I have had negative experiences with everywhere I have lived) can't be bad. So after I called them, ( I think I spoke to the owner directly) who was very professional and understanding right from the get go. He honestly told me that the earliest they could get to us was in couple of hours but he will try to send someone sooner. An hour and 15 min later a truck pulled up. To make a long story longer, they ended up pulling out our toilet and opening the drain from there since I did not have a clean out installed anywhere. Not only these guys saved me from having a day from hell, I also called them back a week later to install a cleanout, so I do not have to do the toilet removal again. These guys are the real deal! Will use them again for sure! Their name really says it all! Oh and make sure to talk to the owner, he is on top his game that guy!

I had been a paying customer in good standing with Urban Oasis, and my only "issue" was that I…read moredidn't consume water fast enough for their delivery schedule. Instead of water delivery being a convenience, it became something I had to actively manage -- tracking bottle counts, timing usage, and adjusting my routine just to stay within their service structure. That completely defeats the purpose of having water delivered in the first place. I had a large amount of water on site that I had already paid for, but because my usage didn't align with their internal turnover expectations, they chose to discontinue service. There were no payment problems, no missed deliveries, no disputes -- just a mismatch between how quickly they wanted bottles cycled and how a normal person actually uses water. A customer's life shouldn't have to revolve around a company's bottle logistics. Service should adapt to real usage, not require customers to restructure their routines to fit a rigid delivery model. Dumped by a water delivery company? Yes. If you go with this company, understand that flexibility is very limited, and if your consumption pattern doesn't match their system, you may be pushed out -- even if you're a reliable paying customer.

Patrick was very quick, friendly, and professional in address an issue I had with having too much…read morewater pressure coming in into the current system we had with them. We did a quick video call to troubleshoot the issue and he had someone over in matter of days to address the problem. Initially I had someone stop by who failed to even troubleshoot the issue, but Patrick was very quick to respond to correct the wrongs. He had his technician Tadeh come by who was professional and friendly. He replaced the system with a higher stage 5 filter system and installed a pressure regulator to reduce the pressure. He tested everything for leaks and showed me how it all works. Shakeh is also very friendly and has been great in helping us get quality water. I got tired over the years of buying my own system and solving issues so for about $25-30 a month it definitely a good value. Thank you Patrick, Shakeh and Tadeh! Definitely recommend them!
