After 43 minutes of waiting today, I spoke with a very rude Maz of customer service who told me they have gone through a system upgrade and my April 17 delivery would now be May 9 and I would need to request a credit for the previous month. She also told me to use my time while waiting online to multitask and use a different phone for conference calls. This is not ethical. I will be reaching out to Costco Senior Buying Team whom I have the account through to let them know how their members are being treated.

EVERY MONTH THERE IS A PROBLEM, from day one. They screwed up the Costco accounting and started a "new account" with billing at a different rate from the Costco contract (they did not tell me, I figured it out after multiple phone calls- that is another issue I will not waste time on now) Then they changed delivery days and screwed that up. They did not deliver but charged me for the delivery and essentially called me a liar when I told them there had been no delivery because their freaking "system" said water was delivered. HOURS wasted on the phone over water delivery!!! NOW, I just realized I have been paying a late fee every month for a year because THEY changed the billing/payment date without any overt notice. Also, you are not advised there a late fee will be accessed on a certain date, you only learn of it when you check your invoice- which is not readily accessible. I believe they hide the details on purpose just to get that extra $20, yes $20. This is the only Costco vendor I have ever had a problem with. When I called Costco to complain, they said a representative would call me back. The did, a representative from PRIMO waters that basically dismissed my complaints as the issues are minor and fixed (only after multiple phone calls) and I could always find another service if I did not like theirs. I have been looking for a new water service, but Primo appears to have a monopoly in my area. COSTCO SHOULD BE ASHAMED! yeah, right... I will be shouting rip off when I pass the "Primo" vendor at costco and I am telling everyone who will listen to RUN, not walk. Oh, I almost forgot. They tell you you can clean your dispenser yourself by watching an online video. NOT TRUE. The online video is for TOP loading dispensers. Costco/Primo only rents bottom loaders and you have to use their expensive and inconvenient cleaning service. WHAT A RACKETT!!

Instead of water delivery being a convenience, it became something I had to actively manage -- tracking bottle counts, timing usage, and adjusting my routine just to stay within their service structure. That completely defeats the purpose of having water delivered in the first place. I had a large amount of water on site that I had already paid for, but because my usage didn't align with their internal turnover expectations, they chose to discontinue service. There were no payment problems, no missed deliveries, no disputes -- just a mismatch between how quickly they wanted bottles cycled and how a normal person actually uses water. A customer's life shouldn't have to revolve around a company's bottle logistics. Service should adapt to real usage, not require customers to restructure their routines to fit a rigid delivery model. Dumped by a water delivery company? Yes. If you go with this company, understand that flexibility is very limited, and if your consumption pattern doesn't match their system, you may be pushed out -- even if you're a reliable paying customer.

I didn't really know what to expect of this place, but a friend had recently "introduced" me to water store water, and after having drunk mostly Brita filtered water at home, and the occasional Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, or Costco bottled water when needed, her water was so much more crisp and clean-tasting, more Smart Water than Dasani (which I believe is universally despised). So I went over there, a small shop with two automated water dispensers outside built into the wall, and inside, different sized water bottles and a counter-area on the right with various types of water. The man working there was curt but professional. I was clearly a newbie and eventually settled on a 5-gallon water bottle that was around $26, as well as a pump also about $26, and he filled my bottle with the reverse osmosis water which was $0.50/gallon. The 5-gallon water bottle was one of two more expensive ones which he said would last some 10 years, and the pump was very easy to install and negated the need of a separate dispenser with a spigot to drink out of. I've since gone two other times using the automated dispenser outside. It takes both cash and card, but there is something like a $0.75 upcharge for using credit, and I believe the machine only takes $1 bills so bring 1's.

Also, they charge you so much for delivery. Then when you cancel (or consider cancelling), they give you a major attitude over the phone and when they pick up their equipment. It's better to stay with PRF and deal with their deliver inconsistencies. At least, PRF compensates you for their mistakes, charges you less than Zutra, and have courteous customer service.

Once I decided on going with PureLux H20, he was able to send his technicians out to my home within 4 days to install the unit. Workmanship experience: Hardy and Hugo were the technicians, and they were extremely informative and diligent. They showed up punctual to the time they gave me in advance. I appreciated that they were very conscientious to ask all the questions in advance of where I would like the unit installed, briefing me on ease of access location as well as possible noise that might be a disturbance if too close to an indoor room.
