Either the email isn't functional (although it appears to have been opened at some point) or they aren't concerned with customer service. I ended up going elsewhere.

So, whenever we have had to do maintenance on the system, we have called them for service. Their technicians are prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Recently, we felt the iron filter was not working well enough. We scheduled an appointment for Hanson to send someone over. Dustin came to check out our iron filter and determined that at 15+ years we had some hard choices to make. He walked us through our options, patiently answered my questions, and did not try and sell anything specific. We talked about replacing the water softener at the same time. He ran tests and confirmed it was in working order. We scheduled time for them to replace the iron filter. Again, Dustin and his assistant arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. He took the time to explain the whole setup to me and ensured I was comfortable with the work done. They are easy to work with and a great service-oriented company. I also love the fact they are heavily involved in the local community. Strongly recommend Hanson Soft Water for any water filtration needs. Wish more businesses were like them!

They have no online cancellation which is crazy. Had to call to cancel and they hung up so that they could continue to deliver. If you forget to put your bottles out they just give you more and they stack up. Then try to put 5 out and they give you 5 more and charge you extra. I finally had to dispute my credit card to get them to stop and that worked. I reported this also to the FTC for making it difficult to cancel.

We have constantly contacted the company and continue receiving the same answer that if we are using salt, then the purifier is working. We were told the problem was our hot water heater, so we bought a new hot water heater. We were told that we needed to chlorinate our well, so we did. We were told that we needed to adjust the settings on the purifer system. The only thing that solved is we are using 3 bags of salt every 3 weeks. I cannot say it enough that the purifier is not working. We have constantly called and called to get a return call. When you call, you are required to wait 3 days for a return call. They never call back. You have to make 2 more calls and then 5 days later someone will call you only to say someone will call you. I will never recommend this company to anyone. It has been 2 years of nothing but headaches. It is embarrassing to have guests because our water smells like a swamp. Our water tastes like a swamp. We now have someone hinting at sueing us thinking they may have gotten contaminated/sick from our water. The last call I made to Leaf Home Water Solutions was in May. Unfortunately, I missed the return call but I called back as soon as I received the voicemail. As of today (7/8/2025), noone has called me back. We cannot financially afford to pay another company as the reason I keep trying to get a resolution. But Leaf Water Home Solutions does not care about us a customer who paid $8K + for a system. It was recommended that we take the entire system out and go with another company. Need some help.

Aaron took a quick look around, found the leak was the float switch on sump pump, told me the size, so I could let a plumber know & recommended a couple in the area. I actually found one exactly the same on Amazon & replaced it myself! If not for Aaron, I probably still would not know where this flood was coming from. He is a great asset to your company! I really appreciated him going above & beyond, when most contractors do what they come to do & they're out the door. It only took him a minute, but it saved me from more headaches & a lot of money. The tech was fine until I asked what the company could do for me as I was paying monthly for a non funtional unit for approx 3 -4 months. His answer was not what one would expect and I was humiliated so I wrote the office in April but received no response until I followed up in June. Katie was very responsive and told me all the reasons why my message was not dealt with in a timely fashion. She was able to care for my concerns and complaint in a matter of hours. Today Isaiah, a driver, called with in 10 min of arrival to my home as requested with the salt I needed. He was courteous, friendly and strong. This is not about bad mouthing Guthrie & Frey but rather the opposite. I didn't need to hear that I was the problem for the softener not functioning, nor that the messages weren't being tracked timely due to changes in software at the office.
