I had previously contacted Roto Rooter. MILW Drain Cleaning was 50% cheaper than Roto Rooter (for normal business hours) and less than 1/4 the cost of Roto Rooters emergency service. I will use MILW Drain Cleaning if I ever have another plumbing problem.

He did not introduce himself with his name or company name. I told him what the issue was he never asked, he asked to see the basement I showed him. For the next 15-20 mins it sounded like he was drilling into my foundation. He came up and wasn't going to say anything till I asked if my pipes are okay or if there is anything major wrong? He said no just rust and grease. Mind you We are first time home owners here in Wisconsin, we are from California. After he left I went into the basement to find an inch and a half of water sitting in half of the unfinished portion of the basement. I proceeded to call the company directly and voice my concerns and Shelly or Sally stated to me they are not a cleaning crew they are only hired to fix the problem, after her attitude and rude remarks I hung up and proceeded to call my warranty company to file a formal complaint on this company. Shelley or Sally then called me back leaving a VM stating he rinsed the basement down with clean water. As you can see from the pictures they left dirt, rust and grease all over my basement along with an inch and a half of water. It would of been one thing to mention to me I might want to go mop or clean it up to just walk in and out with almost nothing said. I clearly think this is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. For them to just leave someone's house a mess like this is disrespectful. Also who ever the plumber was (I never got his name) and who ever Shelly or Sally is hands down are the most unpleasant and unprofessional people I have ever came across in my life. Our first visit was a few years back for a backed up floor drain over the weekend. Most recently we had a sink and tub that were slow draining and no amount of drain chemicals would do the trick. Heiden was able to get it flowing in order to see the cause. The pipe from the basement to the connection in the street needed replacement. They were able to use an underground process that did not disturb any of the landscaping and fixed the problem. They were both efficient and kind. They cleaned up everything. Not inexpensive, but MMSD has a program for pipe issues that does assist with the cost but you do have to use approved contractors. Heiden happens to be one of those contractors. After using them, I know why they are approved. They helped us in an emergency situation and I would highly recommend them.

He came over and looked at the job and left for home and promptly sent me a quote specifying all the particulars along with all the model numbers and costs. I was also working with other plumbing contractors to get quotes. John was not the cheapest of the bids nor was he the most expensive but it was hard to compare as he handles Rheem Pro series (contractor grade) as compared to big box store units. The reason I chose John was because of his friendly demeanor in explaining my options and his knowledge of not only the product he was selling but plumbing in general. He was supposed to install the unit the following afternoon after finishing another job however that job got delayed and ran over, but he did call to let me know he couldn't make it and would do it the next morning. He showed up as advertised the next morning and did the installation while I watched (I asked and he didn't mind) and he used all the latest techniques and tools in making the connections and I felt it was a quality installation without any problems or wasted time. It was also very informative talking with him throughout the process. While here he also fixed a faulty gauge on another pump for me. I would recommend John for any of your plumbing needs.

He said he suspected one of the heating elements has failed. Because of schedule issues told him it would be difficult to meet him at the property. He told me not to worry about it and he would take care of it. Mike came out a day or two later first to diagnose the problem. As he suspected, the elements needed to be replaced. By the end of the day the elements were replaced. He contacted me to let me know the status and left the bill on the table. I thought that was it, I was wrong.
