Do not use this business! It's a father and son company and while they were doing work they were constantly arguing. They installed an outlet that was not what I wanted even after I was clear with me request. The owner lied to my husband and said that is the outlet I wanted. They also ripped a piece of my flooring and denied doing it. I asked for a discount because of the wrong outlet and The ripped floor and it was like pulling teeth. Asked for a $200 discount, but the owner only offered a $100 discount. Then he got aggressive and said "if you don't give me my money I will never be back to your house". read more

I was so grateful for their service. March 2023 big storm, snow, etc. Our electric service mast was pulled off our house by a branch in our yard falling on the electric/cable line that runs from the pole to the house (this is homeowner's responsibility to repair, by the way. I was having difficulty navigating electric businesses that would put this line back up/repair. Some I called only did commercial electrical or indoor electrical, etc. I called C&K and left a message and I think it was the owner that called me back. Sorry, my old brain, does not remember his name. Again, spring storm, heavy, wet snow. And also, the full electric in our neighborhood was out. The gentleman who called me back, very kind, very responsive, agreed to come out that same day, even with the awful weather. I was so grateful, this was a Friday and I knew if I did not get this repaired on Friday it would be difficult to accomplish over the weekend. Same gentleman came out to our house, got the service mast back up (within hours of my initial call). The utility trucks were in the neighborhood to restore the general power from the main line to the neighborhood. Anyway, CK Electric, awesome. I have praised their service to friends, family, co workers and plan to call them back some day as I wish to finish some indoor electrical upgrades. The person (owner?) that completed our repairs was very knowledgeable, when we had a brief few minutes to talk with him, about our future electric upgrades. He told us about some other work he had completed with indoor electrical upgrades and ideas I would have never thought of - and I can go down a Pinterest rabbit hole so I was impressed! I have nothing to compare what was charged for the repair service but my gut feels, for the attention, the work, it was reasonable and fair. As a consumer, that is all I ask! Particularly when you are in a kind of desperate scenario that someone could take advantage of your lack of knowledge AND desperation. I was being told 1700 in a month and a half before a repair in my kitchen could be completed because the other company couldn't locate the grounded wire. CK came in 2 daysand completed the repair in about an hour. They located the ground replaced a couple outlets, fixed a couple bare wires and only cost me $275 read more

These guys were outstanding! My daughter in law had her service upgraded to 200amp for a hot tub. CK had to move the service from one side of the house to the other. They upgraded the main panel and added a dedicated 240 circuit for the hot tub. They had to deal with tight cramped quarters due to a rec room addition in the basement. They were awesome! Dale responded quickly to my initial inquiry and conducted the initial visit for the free estimate. I was impressed with Dale's forthright attitude and he provided a very competitive quote. I was able to get all my questions answered and schedule the work to be done promptly. Really? I'm the first?? OK, we'd called another company because their sticker was on the circuit breaker panel, and they seem to be THEE company to deal with, as they're everywhere. They charged $59 to come and give us an estimate, and the total cost for a dedicated circuit for a newly added sump pump, 4 of the 20 amp outlets and an additional outlet on a first floor bedroom, $2,000, but they'd subtract the $59 we paid for the trip to give the estimate. YIKES! So I asked at the real estate office I work at, and a couple of folks recommended CK Electric. To be fair, I only asked for 3 of the 20 amp outlets, as the previous company scared me. I spoke directly with Dale (owner of C.K Electric) about a few electrical issues that needed to be fixed around the house and he said he'd be willing to do the job just send him a text with the details and he'd call me the next day. I sent him the job details as he requested and I never received a phone call the following day nor any other day. I called him three times and left two voicemails and he still never responded so I obviously went with a different company one who actually calls people back.
