We had been having issues with our sanitary sewer and, following several disappointing visits from "pro" sewer cleaners, I called ABC Sewer. Brian came out to scope out our sewer line and quickly found the issue that had been plaguing me for most of the year...roots clogging a couple areas in my 65+ year old sewer. Brian efficiently diagnosed where the clogs were and got my permission to use his reaming machine to remove the problem. He let me watch the screen of his video inspection camera during the process and showed the before and after view of my sewer. It's now cleaned and working great. I was very pleased that the job took just over and hour to complete and the bill was, quite frankly, surprisingly low compared to the THREE other services who came before. Brian and ABC Sewer has become my "drain guys" from now on! read more

No PICs because people often use YELP to look up restaurants. Well maybe one PIC, of the kitchen drain pipe. House was built in 1915, and the original kitchen was revealed underneath an awful 1970s remodel when we finally had enough equity for a real remodel. The plumber said the drain needed to be cleared from decades of kitchen waste. My father the cardiologist used to explain to patients when they needed a rotational atherectomy that it was like a "roto rooter" for clogged arteries. He didn't actually know what a roto router was. So I asked the drain guy if his procedure was like a rotational atherectomy, and he looked at me blankly. Well not all metaphors are useful but this service sure is. Quick, efficient, on schedule, and surprisingly clean. read more

They helped unclog a basement drain due to tree root and was in and out in less than two hours. They explained what caused the clog and provided recommended next steps. I would recommend them based on the quick service they performed on unclogging a basement drain. I thought the pricing was reasonable for the service! read more

I bought a rental property in the year 2000 and this was my 1st of many rental property. I'm pretty handy, but when it comes to a sewer. I'm just not qualified. It's been a while but I think his name was Bill. The service was A1 and 25 years later they're still A1 and in my book ; as i look over 102 units. Price value speed service what more do you want in a value 24 seven. I'm calling again. Thanks citywide. read more

First time they came out was most disappointing experience I've had with a company. Two days later after getting things drilled out, we had water up to the floor cap. Called them and a few later a guy came out. He snaked the sewer line, did the toilets and showed me how clean the pipes are. Said sometimes other guys are as detailed. First guy should be fired, guessing he didn't snake lines out. Second guys over the top good. Guess it matters who comes to your house. read more

Fantastic service from Dikota! Fast, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Called for service on Tuesday and got an appointment for Wednesday (non-emergency). I highly recommend ABC Sewer!!! read more

We just had a great experience with ABC SEWER. We had a back up in our kitchen sink. I took the trap down and cleaned it out hoping that was the problem. However, after putting the trap back it was definitely a downline blockage. Did a quick search on Google/Yelp and found ABC Sewer. We called after 5 PM and so we were told right away it would be an extra fee (at time and a half). We agreed and got a call back within a half hour. Another 25 minutes and Brian showed up at the house and did a great job clearing the line and then took his time and made an extra effort to do a water seal check on the trap and clean out. At time and a half the cost was $271. In today's world, that is a fair and reasonable price for after hours waste line clean out. I definitely recommend ABC SEWER. read more

They are local, inexpensive, quick and do a great job. I have used ABC for the past few years in lieu of bigger name companies that charge more and do not have the same response time. Clearing out the main drain when living in my neighborhood is a "must" every couple of years because of tree branches, etc that will gunk up the works. Unlike other companies they only charge $105 per drain which is quite reasonable when you compare the cost to having your drain backup into your basement. I had them do my house and the rental next door. A few days later the utility sink was clogged and after trying my best plumber imitation I called them again (note I didn't drop my pants lower). For $80 and within an hour of my call (they were in the area) they had the sink working perfectly again. They were courteous and very respectful. It made me question why I even tried to unclog it myself for the price! read more

I had used a couple different companies to clean my residential sewage drain. But, ABC Sewer & Drain was recommended to me by a neighbor and they were excellent. The showed up on time and had the work done quickly. They didn't have a fancy truck or uniforms. But, they were friendly and very reasonably priced compared to the other companies I had used and guaranteed their work. I would recommend them highly. read more

ABC came right at 9:00 for a 9:00 apt. That is so rare! Worked quickly and fixed my basement sewer back up. Problem was tree roots and baby wipes. (Don't use them!) Would highly recommend and will use again if I ever have sewer or drain needs. read more

Called ABC at 3:30am because our floor drains were flooding. Within one minute Brian called me back and said he could be there in 30 minutes. My tenants sewer drain backed up and in a panic, I submitted request in Yelp to find help. After reading great reviews on ABC Sewer, I now...from personal experience...understand why they have the positive reviews! They responded to my request in less than 20 minutes to call the number to schedule, which I did. They said I would get a call back within 30 minutes to get on their schedule, but if I didn't hear back within that time to call them again. I didn't have to, because I received a call from Brian E. who said he could come within 20 minutes. He arrived in that timeframe and went to inspect the situation. Explained what he was going to do and brought in more equipment. Brian E. worked his magic and cleared out the roots to open sewer through main. Brian completed this promptly and was also very friendly and personable! And the price was reasonable as well. I am so grateful to Brian and ABC Sewer for coming to our rescue! I highly recommend! Thank you sooooo very much! read more

Our basement drain began backing up a Saturday afternoon. The problem was clearly the sewer line between our house and the street. Around 2 PM we called ABC Sewer & Draining and about 15 minutes later a technician, I believe his name is Jeff, returned our call. Jeff explained that there were many stops before ours, but that he would likely be at our home by 8 PM. At about 9 PM, I called Jeff and he said that he was on his way to our East Side location. Jeff knew what to do and after about 30 minutes of hard work he had cleared the line. By the time he brought his gear to his truck it was about 9:45 PM on a Saturday night! Fortunately, Jeff lived nearby. Jeff was completely professional and friendly. The charge was 1.5 x the weekday rate ($189) plus tax which came to $289. The charge included a 30-day warranty. Just 11 months earlier, we had our line cleaned. There are chemical cleaners, but the best of these, copper sulfate, is not environmentally friendly. So, we will be having our line mechanically cleaned every nine months prophylactically. read more

Should be your first call! Amazing service! Quick, clean (despite the nature of the job), super polite, and HONEST. Water was coming up out the floor drain and the kitchen sink was not draining. Tech determined the sewer needed snaking from the house to the street after that he cleaned up the laundry sink, then checked the kitchen sink (all cleared up with the laundry sink) so he didn't have to snake = no charge. I asked if anything else should be done he said no - everything should be working great now. Within an hour everything was running smoothly again. Main sewer line $169 - with a 30 day warranty. Extra drains are 1/2 price. Again AMAZING! read more

ABC used a camera to see what the problem was. Dan the problem solver found a mess of roots and routed them out to the street. He answered my questions. I'm relieved that there won't be another back up if I keep the roots out. Dan did a good job. I will use ABC again. read more

There is an under the cement driveway, drain, that the gutters go into which backed up with the rain water all the way to the elbows. When it rained the elbows of the gutter would spill out the water like a faucet. I called the person who put in the gutters and he suggested calling ABC sewer. I did just that. The man who works for ABC, Dikota, spent time trying to find out where the drain came out from under the large parking area. I brought out a shovel, a trowel to try and find out where it came out ...Dikota dug with his hands and found part of the pipe away from the driveway. After snaking the drain it runs better than it did and does not back up the pipe like before. I still have to dig around the edge of the driveway to find out where it empties out to, that'll take some time and effort. Point is he went above and beyond the usual to clear the drain. I highly recommend using ABC. ! Suzanne L. Brookfield Wi. read more

Used them twice now for a main line sewer build up. They came out twice within five months, problem was never fixed. I've never had a sewer line back up before, so of course it happened just before the weekend. ABC was so accommodating and scheduled a time almost immediately, Patrick came to do the work and he was on-time, professional, informative and skilled. Our house was built in 1920 and one of the toilet drains had clogged somewhere under the basement floor on the way out to the street. There was no clean out for that stack, so my son and I cut out a 12" section of the 4" stack next to the basement toilet so that an auger could be run through. It took over 2 hours for the ABC guy to get it cleared out, but he didn't give up and ran the auger out a full 100 feet to make sure it was all clear. $149 flat rate charge with 30 day work guarantee. Very happy with the results. read more

I initially called ABC Sewer because I had water in my basement during very heavy rains due to a backup from the floor drain. They were able to come out the next day and the service technician was very nice and we believed that the problem was remedied. Going forward two and a half weeks later on a bright sunny day I entered my basement about 4pm and there was sewage all over the floor. I called ABC and was told they would not be out till 9 am the next day. We then rented a snake and did it ourselves as we discovered a lot of debris in the drain. We snaked 100 ft three times with three different heads on the snake. When I called the next morning requesting a refund I was told they would refund me the whole amount and to never call them again for service. Upon receiving the check for the refund I also received a letter from the owner of the company stating that they were charging me a 60.00 service fee and a 5.00 fuel charge which I was never informed about. I then called him to ask him about these charges and he responded that the woman must have been confused and that he will not refund those amounts. I then told him I don't know how it is possible they did their jobs if in such a short period of time we had pulled so much out of the drain. He then proceeded to ask me how long I had owned a sewer and drain cleaning company. The lack of customer service with this company is unbelievable. They will have their wish, I will never call this company for service again. read more
