We have used Hollands for years and always had great service. Technicians are courteous and explain things completely.

We had a power surge at the house yesterday- 95 degs and AC went out at around 1pm. Had to call fire dept bc something was burning which wound up being a power strip that burned one side of it also. Called Mr Holland whose been our go to Hvac for years and I told them our AC was not working. They told me someone would be out to service it around dinner time bc the tech was on another call. So now its 6pm and they told me same thing. Fast forward I called them again and they said I had to reschedule, but they wouldn't tell me when. Next morning, thinking they would call me but its now 9am so I had to call them and speak to a supervisor who was in a meeting,‍so again I had to wait. When they returned my call a short time later she said a tech would be out be out around 11ish am today. Tech arrived and did a great job, so thank you Jonathan. Its 90 degs and at 1 pmish we now have AC, yeah! read more

These guys stole money from us and I wish I could give them zero stars. We had an appointment with a 8am-noon window for arrival to help with a gas dryer hookup. My wife and I both adjusted our work and childcare schedules to accommodate this time frame so one of us could be home. We never received a call and the technician finally showed up two and half hours later at 2:30pm! We were still charged the service call fee and after the technician simply removed a part that wasn't needed on our dryer we were charged $450! I reached out to the company the next day via their website and email expressing my displeasure and still haven't heard back. Poor business, ZERO communication and a total ripoff! I would have given this service a 5 star rating, but Xavier was expected between 8 and 9 but arrived at about 9:30. Holland did not notify me that he would be late and only after I called did they reach out to Xavier. Apparently he was held in a tech meeting and not released to keep the appointment. Had them service our HVAC for 6 years. Our air conditioning suddenly stopped working this summer, and they came out to inspect. Informed us all the repairs on BOTH the furnace (12 yrs old, installed and serviced by them) and AC would cost $7,000, or we could get both replaced for $13,000 minimum. Didn't even attempt to get our current AC running. Charged us $89 for the service call and sales pitch. Called another company, who removed a fried bug from the AC and replaced a part. $230 and the AC is running again. We canceled our plan with Mr. Holland's that day. read more

Extremely disappointed with our experience with Mr. Holland's, particularly the complete lack of communication and follow-through. We had both plumbing and electrical service scheduled with a 12-4 PM appointment window. We arranged our day around that four-hour window and waited, but no one ever showed up. We received no phone call, text, or notification that anyone was running late or that they would not be coming. We finally called dispatch ourselves. It took approximately 10-15 minutes for them to even locate us and our appointment in their system. We were then told someone would call us back shortly to let us know what was happening. No one called. Several hours later the next day, my husband called Mr. Holland's AGAIN. Once again, he was told someone would call us back. Once again, no one called. It has again been hours with zero communication or care they are losing what could be loyal customers for years ahead. At this point, what is most frustrating isn't even that the appointment was missed. Things happen. Technicians get delayed, jobs take longer than expected, and schedules change. What is unacceptable is repeatedly telling a customer that someone will contact them and then simply not doing it. A short phone call or text and a little basic respect for a customer's time goes a long way. Instead, we blocked off four hours for an appointment that was completely no-showed, received zero proactive communication, had to contact the company ourselves twice, and were promised a callback twice that never came. We are in the middle of a move and specifically scheduled these services because we needed extensive work completed and were willing to pay to do it. This has all created completely unnecessary additional stress and wasted a significant amount of our time. We also own multiple properties and would have liked to have found a good company to partner with for all repairs moving forward - apparently Mr.Hollands couldn't care less to just lose business or treat customers with minimal respect. Good customer service isn't about never having a scheduling problem. It's about communicating with your customers and following through when you say you will. Omg, where do I begin. 6/30 my A/C started to malfunction, wasn't putting out very cool air. Got a tech out the same day, Jonathan. He did everything possible to try n figure out what the problem was, but to no avail. He spent 4 hrs in the heat. So, recommended their problem solver, Mike. Unfortunately couldn't come out until a week later 7/7. Mike was able to solve the problem, cleaned the grates, fixed the filter holder n tighten the door. I have a MagicPac combo furnace n A/C, so alot to look at. PROBLEM SOLVED! Working n cooling great. Jonathan n Mike were the nicest guys. Glad I stuck it out with Mr Hollands. Made an appointment for plumbing services 2.5 weeks out from when I first called, which was not a big deal. However, the day of my appointment, someone called 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to let me know no one would be coming and the next available appointment was 3 weeks later. I was told the plumbing department has been backed up lately and at that time I was given a coupon for the service when it would next occur which was great. I also asked to speak to a manager to see if a sooner time could be arranged and also asked then why was I only informed of the scheduling challenges the day of my appointment when it's apparently been an ongoing issue? Plus my appointment slot was 8 am so why couldn't I have at least been pushed later or pushed to the next day and move someone else back? Or give me a more realistic initial time frame so I could have called someone else? I wasn't given any answers to this but the manager was able to book me one week after my initial appointment, which was better than the 3 weeks initially offered. Unfortunately, that appointment was also cancelled the day prior. I again asked to have a manager call me and no one did (4 days and no call). Super disappointing service. Also - please don't respond to this to tell me to call your customer service center as your resolution. I've called a number of times already. I just hope this helps change the service for the future. read more

I had asked Mr. Hollands to come check a leak in my tankless water heater. The tech came, said he would have to order a replacement part. Nearly two weeks go by and I haven't heard from them. I had to call to find out "the part just came in". They sent a tech to install it, just to find out they ordered the wrong part. They reordered. Now I've had a leaking water heater (5 gallons a day) for almost 3 weeks. The new part came in, they sent the tech, who destroyed another part while trying to fix it. Now they needed to order yet another part. This time they tell me they can't get it for a month! So now I have no hot water because they broke it, and I asked them to give me a quote on a replacement unit. Understandably I asked them to give me a good deal on it. I have since had another three companies come out and quote, and had one install a new water heater, but have still not heard back from Mr. Hollands. This was my post on the Better Business Bureau so that sums up my experience. I would give them a zero if I could. Mr. Holland came out to my property to try to clear a main line clog and diagnose the problem. They were supposed to snake the drain and determine the problem by scoping the pipe. They never scoped the pipe, claiming they couldn't. They then claimed the problem was 90 plus feet from the access point they were using. I measured this with a trundle wheel after they left and that didn't make sense because it would have placed the problem across the street if that distance was correct. Again they never scoped it or properly found the issue. They then provided me with a bid to replace my entire sewer lateral for $40,000 without confirming there was a problem. The person providing the bid was named Bill. This forced me to hire Subterranean Sewer Experts to perform a scope because Mr. Holland would not. I paid Mr Holland to do this and they charged me yet did not perform the service. Subterranean was able to scope the pipe and found the blockage at around 30 feet from the entry, still in my basement, and unrelated to the sewer lateral. They even scoped another access point past the blockage, closer to the street, which showed nothing wrong with the sewer lateral. I sent an email to Mr. Holland about this and they said they would refund me both over the phone and by text. It was initially pending but they removed the refund and never notified me. The bid Mr. Holland provided by Bill was pure fiction because I saw on a scope the lateral looked fine. The price was also extreme at $40,000 and offered no spot fixes and they couldn't explain the charges. They also did this without a proper evaluation of scoping the line which I paid for. This is either incompetence or bad faith on behalf of Mr. Holland. Don't use this service as they won't honor what you pay them for and they will give you an astronomical bid which doesn't even address the underlying issue. Don't worry, they offer high interest financing though. Also, this is the text I was sent from them even though they cancelled the refund. "Good morning, this is Danielle with Mr. Hollands. I'm very sorry for the experience you had, and I wanted to follow up to make sure you received my previous message. I've refunded the payment for your visit yesterday, but I would really appreciate the chance to speak with you and hear more about your concerns. Please call us at 866-992-1717 when you have a moment." read more

I called Mr. Holland's about a Generac generator indicator light showing maintenance was needed on my home generator. They sold me on their maintenance plan, and when the tech arrived he diagnosed that the gas line and gas distributor had been installed improperly and that the line would need to be rebuilt. I agreed to their estimate and they sent another technician out to rebuild the line and replace the distributor. He was still not able to get the generator started, at which point he called me to collect payment. I let him know that I wanted to speak with someone about this before paying the invoice as I felt the job hadn't been completed. I was then contacted by the service manager. He told me that they had a signed estimate and the work on the estimate had been completed. I didn't disagree with him, but felt that another service appointment was a bit unreasonable as they'd been there twice already, once to do a regular service (which couldn't be completed as the gas line issue was diagnosed) and once to rebuild the line/replace distributor (which I was told was the issue). Instead of understanding the situation or trying to rectify it, I was told by the manager that the service/work had been completed, let us know if you want us to fix it at a later date, pay the invoice. I was offered a free 1-hour appointment to continue to diagnose the problem, but ultimately turned it down as I lacked any confidence in the company at this point. I reached out to them multiple times over the coming weeks, dealing with their customer service person (Danielle, who was actually very understanding and, in my opinion, their most competent employee), hoping to be called back by a manager. No one ever reached out, and after another week of waiting (3+ weeks after the service at this point) I caved and paid the invoice and decided to share my experience. They did, however refund me for the original maintenance plan charge as the maintenance couldn't be completed/tested on the first appointment as the tech wasn't able to start the generator. The best part of the story is this: I was able to contact another service company who came out and simply bled the gas line and had the generator running in less than 10 minutes. It's since had no issue (3+ weeks). I posted a review on Febuary 9. Jeremiah M., the business owner, responded and encouraged me to call the Client Relations Manager. I did and, as a result of that conversation, i am lowering my rating to just one star. The work done by the plumber was great, but the Client Relations Manager explanation for the amount I was charged was the reason for the one star and why I will never use Mr. Holland's again. The Client Relations Manager seemed happy to explain to me that the business does not charge for time and materials, but rather by a predermined project cost. She indicated that most customers like the pricing model because, if the plumbing repair becomes more complex and time-consuming, they only pay the quoted amount. What that said to me is that those who have simple repairs (like mine) get over-charged (as compared to time and materials) in order to subsidize those who have complex repairs. Truth be told, I would rather pay for my own repair and not someone else's. Finally, the Client Relations Manager said that she would talk to the plumber's supervisor to review the work he did and see if any cost adjustment could be made. She may have done so, but I don't know that, because she never got back to me. It's time to move on from Mr. Holland's. read more

Beware - extremely unprofessional, poor communication, and costly mistakes I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from this company. I initially called for a simple clogged drain, expecting a licensed plumber as advertised. Instead, without my knowledge or consent, they sent a drain technician (not a licensed plumber) for the $89 service call. That technician then quoted me $450 just to snake the drain, saying it was the only option and that there were no other concerns. While snaking the line, he broke the pipe--but he failed to communicate the severity of the issue to my tenant or to me. He simply told my tenant "I think I broke it" and said a plumber couldn't come for nine more days. He didn't warn them to stop using the kitchen or laundry, which led to leaking water inside the walls for days before anyone realized what was happening. When my tenant informed me of the leak, I called the company and discovered they had not documented the technician's mistake or notified anyone. Getting information was like pulling teeth. When I finally spoke to their lead plumber, he was initially abrasive, condescending, and completely uninformed about the situation. Only after I insisted on explaining what actually happened did he apologize. Over a week later, the plumber arrived and confirmed that the pipe damage--caused by their technician--had been leaking the entire time, now leading to water damage and mold in my property. Yet they still quoted me over $4,000 to repair the pipe they broke. I had to beg for a discount, they quoted me $2,000 but had to reschedule the work for another day. If they had quoted me with a discount vs the full bill I could've had the work completed same day... After completing the repair later on, they promised to send someone for a complimentary camera scope to check for roots. My tenant scheduled the appointment and they never showed up. When I called the manager in distress--because I was still dealing with mold smell and wet walls from their initial damage--she said she'd call me back. She never did. From start to finish, this company showed a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication, despite admitting fault. I trusted them because they had serviced this same drain before, but they caused me thousands of dollars in damage, enormous stress, and weeks of unresolved issues. You think you're calling a reputable, licensed, and insured provider--but my experience was the opposite. I had to spend $5 on mold remediation and dry wall work on top of the 2k to repair the damage they caused. I strongly urge other homeowners to think twice before using this company. read more

The technician at the end told me there is a $160 troubleshooting fee. he didn't even use any of his parts or equipment. Had my furnace and HVAC installed back in October of 2025. Called to schedule a routine maintenance on my HVAC and had to wait a month for them ton come out(June of 2026). When trying to use my HVAC for the hottest days of this year, it wouldn't cool down my house. I would set the thermostat to 70 and it would 80 inside my house. I waited to called and let Mr. Hollands know because it was so close to the maintenance date. When the tech looked over the HCAC he said the Freon is low(remember my HVAC isn't even a year old). He adds more Freon and said I'm good to go. When asking him why my Freon was low, he said, the technicians that installed the system don't always fill the Freon completely. Okay, cool, it's fixed now right? Nope! I was wrong. Fast forward to Monday (7/6/2026). My house isn't cooling down again. I called Mr. Hollands they said they would sent someone out on Tuesday (7/7/26). The technician comes out and says the EXACT SAME THING AS LAST MONTH! The Freon is low again. The technician says he added more and should be fixed. Well here I am, writing this because it's not fixed at all. I called the dispatch at 7:30 am today (7/8/26) to get someone to come out here. Dispatch says they "will look into it and give me a call back shortly." Well it's now 12 hours later and I still haven't heard a thing. So I get to call again, Yay! Called Mr. Hollands office and explained what is going on, the dispatched offer to send a technician out here and it will $199 (because it would be considered an emergency).Nope! I told them I'm not paying anymore money because I literally just had someone out here to look at it. Absolutely not! I asked to speak to the manager because this needs to be resolved. My HVAC isn't even a year old, the Freon being low is clearly an on going issue and I just had someone out here the other day. Of course when I asked for a manager, no one is available, they can't transfer me to leave a message and they don't know if they will give a call back and they don't even know the managers name. Do I recommend this company? Absolutely not. Save your money and your time. Oh did I mention, I'm a priority member? I called and talked to multiple people who have put "request" in for me to talk to client relations and I still haven't heard anything. I always put in a "request" to have everything that was done at my property emailed to me. I want to know who was there on what day, what did they do. I want the information on my HVAC, furnance and water heater, including but not limited to what company did they use to get the products from, warranty that each unit has has. I'd give zero stars if I could. Called to get a drip fixed and was told it'd be about a week out, which we decided we could live with. Since this is an active drip, we've been managing by using a bucket and turning the main water valve off when not needing to use water. ON THE DAY OF OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, they called and said unfortunately another job was running over and they needed to reschedule our service. I figured it'd be the next day or at most 2 days... Nope, they told me it'd be 10 more days before I could be fit in due to their other commercial jobs that they can't change. Had I known I'd be cancelled on day of I could have had a half dozen other plumbers come out. If they can't reliably serve residential customers, then they should be honest or don't schedule them. If you're looking for residential work, DON'T TRUST the scheduling department of this place. read more

Mr. Hollands Heating and Air is not a company that I can recommend. If you need HVAC work, please look elsewhere. They were dishonest with me about a standby appointment for A/C repair, so instead of planning a mini trip with the kids to somewhere with A/C and a pool, we have been sitting here waiting for days. Tuesday they told me "we'll try to get someone out to you tomorrow." Wednesday - when I called them at 4:30 pm, not the other way around - they said "tomorrow, probably in the afternoon." Thursday - again when I called around 4:30 pm, not them - they apologized. I said I really needed this taken care of in the morning, I can't be home for a third full day waiting for a call. I was told "tomorrow morning, between 8 am and noon." So today I got up early and was ready for them. I called at 10 am to confirm that someone would be here by noon and was told after a bit of confusion, "Not today, but we can but you on the schedule for sure on Monday. We can also 'try' to send someone over the weekend." This was even after it became clear that their dispatch center can absolutely see who I spoke with last night, and can verify that this is what their dispatcher told me. Be HONEST with your customers. I understand the weather has been hot. If Mr. Hollands would have TOLD me that they could come out in, say, 5 days, I would have taken the appointment and made travel plans. But this? This is the worst kind of customer service. well where do I begin. I have been with Hollands's for 5 years. this year has been very bad with the guarantee of there 1717 program. it's like they do not want to keep there guarantee 's stated on the program. the person scheduling is awful does not call back as she said. the man who sold me a $14,724 hvac system made the sale and he was done with me. when I saw the ac it was huge could have cooled a 4 unit apartment! it was installed in Feb but not setup said they would come back when it was ok to setup. this weekend the temp where I live was 100. I called them on Monday the 17th said they couldn't come until Friday came they said the service man's truck broke down. the woman who schedules said she would call me back. NEVER DID!!!! all I can say is WOW. that stated the people who do the actual work are knowledgeable and caring. read more

Mr. Holland's installed high efficiency heating and cooling systems in our home 15 years ago. We have subscribed to the maintenance membership since. In November 2025 our furnace quit working. It took two weeks for Mr. Holland's to respond and fix the problem. In the process, the technician broke a valve and it took almost another two weeks for them to respond to this issue, which they stated wasn't the technician's fault and were going to charge us $300+ to fix it. I replaced the part for $14 and canceled our membership. All you get is a run around if you get anyone when you call. No one returns calls. read more

We filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau - Mr. Holland's responded with a letter that they would refund our money and someone would be contacting us with an apology. The furnace install was a nightmare, and the years of service after haven't been any different. Ill trained guys who are like bulls in a china shop. They break more then they fix. To many HVAC companies out there to even consider Hollands. Take you business elsewhere. read more

I was stunned at the estimates. The technician was a nice guy, but once we started looking at the numbers, I had to bite my tongue. We wanted to have our bathtub and shower faucet swapped out, and the estimate came in at $2091 if they supplied the faucet and shower head. If we bought our own, it would cost $1513. In other words, they would be charging us over $500 for the shower and faucet they can get at Home Depot for about $150. The technician, while pleasant, seemed very interested in selling me a "membership" that ran about $200 so I could receive some discounts. I am not a plumber, but I would imagine most plumbers have swapped out bathtub faucets dozens and dozens of times. What could possibly warrant a cost of $1500??? How long does this procedure take? What are they charging per hour to do this? None of this was on my estimate. The "trip charge" came to $93, which applies to the work if I am willing to submit to these astronomical charges. Otherwise I have to just eat the $93 and find someone who will do it for a reasonable cost, which is what we will do. What kind of nonsense is it where I have to pay someone to tell me how much I have to pay them????? In looking back on it, I should have charged the technician a cover charge for entering my house. How about $93? Mr. Holland? Not in this lifetime. read more

We called for an emergency service on a clogged floor drain and charged 89.00 to not even inspect it. Told it was the septic that was full And we needed to call them. Mind you we just had it emptied last year. So we called to have our Septic guy come out and charge us 160.00 for fast service and service charge to tell us that it's not full. Called back Hollands to explain and needed some one to come back out and we were not paying another service charge. Which they agreed and apologized. So the guy showed up about 1/2 later which was quick enough I thought but then did his scope to tell us that we had a blockage and he would have to snake it. Ok Sounds reasonable until he gave us a price, close to 800.00 and if they couldn't get plate off another 450.00. WHAT! So I did some slewing on the internet about an average cost to snake a drain when I came across a coupon that had posted for 93.00. I presented that to the guy and he then proceeded to tell me that's only for one push through and if it needed more push thrus that it was more money. Let me just tell you I know that I would pay more than 93.00 but for him to go from 1000.00 down to 93.00+(I thought maybe closer to 450.00) was being shady. I told him not interested and felt like I was totally being taken advantage of. Just be careful and do some homework before settling. I will not ever use or recommend them to anyone! read more

Initially we set up a membership as we had an oil furnace and no one else will service these. After 6 months of trying to cancel this membership and still getting billed $20 monthly, I have spent hours trying to get charges reversed by my credit card company and on the phone with Mr. Holland's being told "we will submit this." At this point, it is just fraud and super frustrating. Their services were poor and overpriced, and now I am stuck trying to get out of the membership. read more

I have tried to work with this company multiple times and every single time have had issues. Their quotes are always insanely overpriced and the one time I did buy from them, they left my house with my sink leaking (Didn't leak before they came) and refused to do anything to fix it. I purchased their "Priority Club" service to get a discount on the work I had done, and the Priority Club is supposed to include 2 day priority service, discounts, and a free furnace and AC tune up. I called for a furnace tune up, had to book it over a month out, and then got a call the night before telling me they had to reschedule the tune up. Was professional, neat and communicated very well. Called in the morning for a leak. Was told someone would come in the afternoon and that they would call before they came. Waited all day. Called back in the evening. Apparently their "computers crashed" some time during the day, and my appointment was moved. If they can't do simple things like following up on an appointment, I would not trust them to do any work in my home. read more

I called Mr. Holland's Home Services (which bought out Hartlaub) to check and possibly replace the battery on my back-up sump pump. The company said there would be a minimum charge of $89 (as I recall), and I said yes, go ahead. The tech came on Friday afternoon at 3:30 (not an emergency) with a new battery. He changed it and was finished at 4:00. For that routine service he charged $908, plus $50 tax. I had to pay before he left the house. I found later that he paid a maximum of $325 for the battery, meaning the service charge was at least $583, plus $50 tax. The invoice was a flat price, and contains no hint of how much the company charges per hour or per service call, and there is no separate charge for the battery. Neither the bill nor the website indicates where their office is located; it provides only a P.O. Box. I called to complain, but it took more than a week to have a conversation with a manager, who lectured me on how their charges have to cover their tech salaries and company overheads. I had thought Mr. Hollands was a reputable company, but it seems to operate without transparency or accountability. If you have to call them to your house, be sure to know what the correct price should be before the tech begins work, and persuade them to accept your price. Do the techs set the prices? We feel like we got ripped off! So hard to find AFFORDABLE PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS! We weren't expecting it to be cheap, but for less than two hours of work, they charged us $894.00! Here is the breakdown: Evaluation Fee-$59.00 Open wall for diagnostic- $140.00 Remove 1" main shut off supply & install 1" valve; shut off main valve-$695.00 They wanted to charge $80.00 to put in a new faucet(which we bought), but we passed. The service was very good but the deceitful business approach is shocking. They give you no indication on what a possible cost is, they give you no hourly rate or how they calculate costs. They arrived, after already charging a 'trip' charge and then proceed to calculate a 'flat' standard cost for a 'single' kitchen faucet on their computer. The faucet was Owner provided. In hindsight, this simple flat rate charge could have been mentioned to me prior to committing to the appointment so I would have some idea of ultimate costs - a range of costs would have been valuable. To me this is deceitful...they get into the house charging a trip charge and then your left with 'pay it or don't', but still pay the trip charge. it's kind da like 'GOTCHA'. read more

On November 16th, Mr. Hollands Heating and Air come to my home to fix my heating system. There was a $170 charge just to come to my house and diagnose the issue. I agreed to this charge. I left a key for the technician. He called me a few hours later, told me what the problem was and that he had already fixed it. Then he told me that I would be charged $876 for the service. This included the $170 service charge. So roughly $700 for the part, labor and fix. The tech was at my house for about 1.5 hours from diagnosis to job finished. The technician did not call me to tell me what was wrong before fixing the issue. Once I got home I inspected the work that was done and I realized that a $100 part was changed out. I called the following day to dispute the fact that I was not consulted about the diagnosis before the work was done. Had they told me, I would have known immediately that I could have fixed it myself with a $100 Menards run and 20 minutes of my own time. So to start the issues, I have no idea how they justify $700 for the part and labor. They told me that they would come back to my house to remove the part and then they would give me a refund. Rather than giving me a deal or discount, their plan was to come back to my house and take the part that they installed back. I offered a solution which was to refund me the labor that I did not agree to, and that they should just charge me for the part which I could prove was $100. They denied this offer. The following week, a different technician came to my house to uninstall the part. I had gone to Menards, purchased the same part for $98. The technician was nice and was in my house for 13 minutes to remove the part. I then spent 15 minutes installing the same part I had purchased. I called to follow up the next day to see when I could expect the refund to come through back on my card. I was told it should only take 3-5 days. A week later I did not see the refund post, so I called again. A gentleman named Jerimiah told me that the refund had not yet been processed. He told me that they would be sending a check which was not previously discussed. I asked if they could just refund my card, and he agreed. I was told that it would be processed that day. Flash forward another 10 days and multiple unreturned phone calls, I still hadn't received my refund. I called again and spoke to someone else, explained the issue and that I was quite upset. She got me a refund within 1 hour (Finally, Thank you.) Absolute incompetence. They did not call me to discuss the fix and charges before performing the work. They charged me $700 for a $100 part and 1.5 hours of labor. I have seen their responses to other negative reviews stating that we must pay for the expertise and explaining and training. Sure, I get it, but $400 per hour labor?! That is the worst rip off I have ever heard. Why not just leave the part and refund the labor in this case? The company spent even more money to send a tech to my house to remove it. I don't understand, and it further inconvenienced me on top of it. After the original install date of 11/16, I did not get the refund processed to my account until 12/16. They held onto $700 of my money for a month. This was their mistake in the first place, and it took them 30 days to refund me. I asked for the $170 service charge to be refunded. They did not refund me this. So, on top of the inconvenience, they wouldn't even do anything to try to make it a little easier on me. Nothing for my time and frustration. Nothing to compensate me for their multiple mistakes. I wish there was more I could do to hold this company and their negligence accountable, but unfortunately, I can't. I hope people read this and can think twice about using this company. The were kind and cordial on the phone and when they were in my house, but they dropped the ball at every turn.
