I called them to get a new furnace quote to replace my 38 year old Whirlpool/Heil furnace. I was provided a 3-hour visit window for the following day and they came out at the beginning of the window - awesome! The sales rep/tech was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. We talked about all the various models of furnace units they sell; the nose-wipers, the cheap and cheerfuls, the install it and have minimal YOY costs. In the end, they were nearly $1k below thier competitors for a furnace that was 10k BTUs above the other quotes. And he walked me through the mathematics of how we needed the 100k vs 80k BTU unit given house size and zone. The price was all-in, and they even through in the yearly membership for tuneups. I went from thining this would be a house cost within the next 6 months to booking it the next day. Install was a week later. 2 techs showed up promptly at the given window for install and set about getting it done. They kicked out carpet and plastic sheeting on all areas they'd be walking and working on; they swept up and cleaned out the old space to make the new furnace space ready; clean gas piping, new PVC runs that were put through my foundation / capped the old one neatly; wired up my old Honeywell thermostat to be easily swapped out with the Ecobee that's arriving later this week. At every step they were friendly, explained what they would be doing, why, what the code was for a couple of things, and were just all around good guys. Admittedly, I figured that calling one of the "big brands" was going to be sterile and expensive. I am pleased to report the opposite and would recommend Mr. Holland to anyone needing work done. read more

"Matt Morrissey and Bo were so professional, very knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and personable. I appreciate the compassion they showed for my situation as well as helping me understand how certain components worked and providing me with photos and proof of what they were finding. Unfortunately, we do need a new furnace and as painful as that is, working with them and Greg made the process that much easier. I sincerely appreciate the patience they showed to me and my situation and allowing me to ask questions and not feel stupid about it. And why I will not repeat the comment here or repeat the apprentice's name. We will be requesting Matt again for our maintenance if possible, as his compassion, ability to explain the concerns and just overall experience with him and his apprentice Bo, was beyond what we expected and so refreshing. read more

Hartlaub services lived up to their name and business motto on my project. Jack was a very trustworthy, friendly, knowledgeable individual who takes pride in his work. We are so thankful to have found a company with employees that we can trust to do a good job, and respect our home & pets, when we can not be home to watch over during the project. Jack was on top of all communications at the drop of a hat during the project. he would take any time needed to answer our questions even at less convenient times. Jack went above and beyond by talking with our family members in the trade and assuring them that the job will be done correctly. Our tankless water heater works VERY well and all of our plumbing looks professional and top notch! Very messy job but the crew was always careful to clean up after themselves to not track it all around our house. Schedule appointment to have our furnace check for the winter months. Service Technician Neal Tilson was the tech that was sent out to check the furnace for us. He texted us to let us know he was on his way with a picture so we would know what he look like. I like this idea that we get to see who is coming. He was on time and ready to work. He had a mask on the whole time he was here. He check the furnace over and made sure everything was running correctly and clean it up. He also let us know what needed to be replace for the winter. Which was the fuel filter for the oil and the nozzle. He also told me it was time for a new air filter for the furnace and the dehumidifier on the furnace. Which I told him that I would replace myself cause I have them on hand. He did a great job and went over everything that he did and also took pictures so we could see what was done. I had a new granite counter top installed in my kitchen and needed a plumber to come hook up the sink and i also wanted to replace the current garbage disposal. The guy who came out to quote it told us he could hookup a new garbage disposal no problem and we agreed to his quote so we gave him a deposit and scheduled them to come back the day after the counter top was installed. That day was today and the guy who came to quote it was the not the guy doing the plumbing work, well the guy who came to install it said he couldn't wire the garbage disposal how the the first guy said he could. Long story short they went over and beyond my expectations, had a electrician come wire the garbage disposal and did not charge a penny more for the additional work they had to do. I am very pleased and without a doubt plan to use them again for any additional plumbing or electrical work i may need in the future. read more

We have used Mr. Holland's Heating and Air for many years! We had a Service Tech by the name of Jason B. come to do the annual tuneup for the winter on our furnace. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite and picked up all equipment and wrappers and boxes he used. He explained everything thoroughly that needed to be done and gave me the choice to do it or not with the cost of each service. The price was very reasonable and he called before he came to let me know when he would be here. He was efficient and was done in a very reasonable amount of time! I would recommend him and Mr. Holland's heating in a heart beat. We have always had a good experience and we have been using this company for over 14+ years. read more

We had our yearly air conditioning service today as club members. Jon found very low freon and some other issues. He was very patient and gave quotes on all the individual repairs. We asked about the cost to replace the units versus all the necessary repairs. Jon was respectful in our examining all the options (repairs/replacements) and candid with his responses to our numerous questions. It seemed that it would be most cost effective to replace the HVAC systems. Jon was not a hard sell and did not try to push us into that decision. We didn't feel like we were buying a new car. He is a credit to his service and business industry. We will post another review after the installations. read more

Mr Hollands provides excellent customer service. An initial furnace tune-up and inspection done by Chris from Mr. Hollands heating determined that service and parts for needed repairs on our 20 year old furnace would cost about a third of a new furnace. Then Tyler came out and carefully explained the reasons and options (including financing) for replacing our furnace with a new, more efficient unit. After scheduling a install date a few days later, Paul and Spencer installed the new furnace and thermostat. Everyone at Mr. Hollands was very friendly, easy to work with and knowledgeable. We had no heat for 4 days I call Mr Holland heating and ac on a Monday they sent someone the same day ... the tech came out gave us a diagnosis of out furnace and we found out that a mouse that blew up our motor in the furnace... so the tech call home office and we were able to get someone out to us within a few days... the gentleman that came to our house to give us a quote was awesome, very knowledgeable and was able to get us a new furnace and ac unit... our furnace was 15yrs old and our ac unit was 25yrs old... this company and there installation personal were top notch... we high recommend them read more

Was professional, neat and communicated very well. Called in the morning for a leak. Was told someone would come in the afternoon and that they would call before they came. Waited all day. Called back in the evening. Apparently their "computers crashed" some time during the day, and my appointment was moved. If they can't do simple things like following up on an appointment, I would not trust them to do any work in my home. read more

Andy was out last week to unclog a drain. At first the appt was set for the next day. He had a cancellation so they quickly called me back so he came same day. THANK GOODNESS! The drain was fully clogged he took care of that quickly. We talked about a new softener and an iron curtain as we have tons of iron in our water. Price seemed decent. He came back today to install all of that. He was efficient, quiet(we work from home) and did a fabulous job. Have used Hartlaub in the last too. I would highly recommend them. read more

We used Hartlaub a few times now. We replaced an end of life water heater, water softener and somewhat complex toilet work with them. Honestly..wouldn't go with another company at this point.. they are so knowledgeable and respectful. The guy who replaced the water softener went out of his way to show us how to replace our reverse osmosis filtration system without even asking (he saw the box of parts and offered to help). They do great work and we have been impressed with every job they have done! read more

After buying a new home we realized our Duct work had not been cleaned since the home was built in 1971.... Easy way to tell if a good company cleaned your duct work is if you have professional patches on your ductwork near your furnace. Our returns had layers of cob webs reducing the airflow. They came out and literally scrubbed the inside of our supply and return trunk lines and cleaned out the vents in each room. Has definitely helped with the kids allergies. Thank you! read more

I joined Mr. Holland's Priority Club last year and scheduled a furnace cleaning. The service technician (Chris Mikulski) did a thorough inspection of the 17-year-old boiler and identified several issues in need of attention. He was able to make all the necessary repairs and had all needed parts with him, so everything was completed in one trip. It was expensive, but the Priority Club saved me a large amount of money. Dale is an amazing electrician and Allen works very hard. Benicio and some of the younger employees were very efficient. Dawn in the office is very helpful. Hartlaub took on a very big project in our home . Redoing laundry and putting in a new bathroom with plumbing going beneath foundation. Not a small feat! Got us completed the day before Christmas Eve. There were a few hiccups but, not enough to give a negative review. read more
