The plumber recommended replacement of the system and told me I should hear back in about three days with an estimate and the results of our water test which I was charged an additional $40 for. I heard nothing and called back two weeks later. The woman I spoke with told me they still were waiting on cost of the equipment and I should hear back by the end of the week. I requested a copy of the bill and promptly paid it without receiving my test results or repair estimate. Three weeks later I sent an e-mail to the office requesting an update and received neither a call or response to my e-mail. It's been over 2 months since my initial assessment and no response. What a waste of time and money.

I contacted 3 HVAC companies recently while getting quotes/information on replacing my Carrier home…read morefurnace. My initial contact with Capital was spurred by my recollection of hearing their weekly radio spots on AM radio. On their radio show they frequently made the point of Capital's complete analysis of your existing system and equipment. Many potential improvements to my older system were discussed and how this would provide better comfort and efficiency. Justin D. explained in language I could understand and answered all my questions. I appreciated their respect for my home and wore disposals slip on booties. I noticed they were the only HVAC company to actually use a scope type camera tool to validate problem areas. They showed me, real time, what they discovered. I feel they were the most thorough and felt my issues were each addressed. I have not yet made a final decision on my replacement company but I solidly recommend Capital Heating as a quality organization with great customer service and support.

Paul called to find out what was happening, and they informed us that they needed an estimator to come and look. They set an appointment for Saturday. Paul waited, no one showed. Again. When he called he was told they didn't know why the guy was scheduled on a Saturday. Suffice it to say, there was no communication, none of the things we needed checked got looked at, and my husband wasted two vacation days waiting for their arrival. If you can find someone better or more reliable, that would be a good idea.

**BEWARE** Shady business practices…read more I called this company because they were working on another house in my neighborhood. Big mistake, very shady business. I had an Ihn worker come out for a sump pump discharge issue. The worker was fine, did his job for 2.5 hours and didn't have the proper equipment to finish snaking an exterior pipe. That's fine, he said he would come back the next day with proper equipment. How he showed up without the necessary tools is a mystery, unless this is how they game the system for additional work hours. A different worker shows up the next day to finish the job, which is snaking another 40 feet or so. Not long after the worker shows he asks "I don't know if anyone from the office called you about the "bill". I got a call from Matt in the office this morning but no mention of the bill on the voicemail. The worker says the bill will be a little over $1500! I called Matt in the offfice to see what the heck this is about, the previous worker was here for 2.5 hours yesterday and the remaining snke job shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes tops. Matt claims their hourly is $200, how are they getting $1500 from 2.5 hours of work? That's a lot of money in addon's and service call. I asked Matt to break down the bill, he couldn't and said he would have to speak to a supervisor. Great! Can I have this supervisor's name and number so I can call and deal with this myself? Matt says no, I cannot give out personal names and numbers! What? I'm not asking for his personal number, I'm asking for his work number at the business I'm calling that is trying to screw me. He says, can't do it. So either Matt is full of it or they are extremely shady. ****STAY AWAY***
