Our well water is hard and has iron in it. Hanson had installed an iron filter and softener in the…read morehouse before we purchased it. So, whenever we have had to do maintenance on the system, we have called them for service. Their technicians are prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Recently, we felt the iron filter was not working well enough. We scheduled an appointment for Hanson to send someone over. Dustin came to check out our iron filter and determined that at 15+ years we had some hard choices to make. He walked us through our options, patiently answered my questions, and did not try and sell anything specific. We talked about replacing the water softener at the same time. He ran tests and confirmed it was in working order. We scheduled time for them to replace the iron filter. Again, Dustin and his assistant arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. He took the time to explain the whole setup to me and ensured I was comfortable with the work done. They are easy to work with and a great service-oriented company. I also love the fact they are heavily involved in the local community. Strongly recommend Hanson Soft Water for any water filtration needs. Wish more businesses were like them!

I received a faulty softener unit in my home approx. 5 months ago. The tech was fine until I asked what the company could do for me as I was paying monthly for a non funtional unit for approx 3 -4 months. His answer was not what one would expect and I was humiliated so I wrote the office in April but received no response until I followed up in June. Katie was very responsive and told me all the reasons why my message was not dealt with in a timely fashion. She was able to care for my concerns and complaint in a matter of hours. Today Isaiah, a driver, called with in 10 min of arrival to my home as requested with the salt I needed. He was courteous, friendly and strong. This is not about bad mouthing Guthrie & Frey but rather the opposite. I didn't need to hear that I was the problem for the softener not functioning, nor that the messages weren't being tracked timely due to changes in software at the office. I just needed peace of mind and professionals to f/u with me. I will recommend this company in the future as they did what was needed in the end.

They have no online cancellation which is crazy. Had to call to cancel and they hung up so that they could continue to deliver. He came prepared with anything he needed, even if he had to rebuilt it. Turned out it was not my softener. Aaron took a quick look around, found the leak was the float switch on sump pump, told me the size, so I could let a plumber know & recommended a couple in the area. I actually found one exactly the same on Amazon & replaced it myself! If not for Aaron, I probably still would not know where this flood was coming from. He is a great asset to your company! I really appreciated him going above & beyond, when most contractors do what they come to do & they're out the door. It only took him a minute, but it saved me from more headaches & a lot of money.
