The tech was fine until I asked what the company could do for me as I was paying monthly for a non funtional unit for approx 3 -4 months. His answer was not what one would expect and I was humiliated so I wrote the office in April but received no response until I followed up in June. Katie was very responsive and told me all the reasons why my message was not dealt with in a timely fashion. She was able to care for my concerns and complaint in a matter of hours. Today Isaiah, a driver, called with in 10 min of arrival to my home as requested with the salt I needed. He was courteous, friendly and strong. This is not about bad mouthing Guthrie & Frey but rather the opposite. I didn't need to hear that I was the problem for the softener not functioning, nor that the messages weren't being tracked timely due to changes in software at the office. I just needed peace of mind and professionals to f/u with me. I will recommend this company in the future as they did what was needed in the end.

I heard nothing and called back two weeks later. The woman I spoke with told me they still were waiting on cost of the equipment and I should hear back by the end of the week. I requested a copy of the bill and promptly paid it without receiving my test results or repair estimate. Three weeks later I sent an e-mail to the office requesting an update and received neither a call or response to my e-mail. It's been over 2 months since my initial assessment and no response. Beware. Shoddy work. Don't deal with this plumber. Can't trust work. No integrity…read more Their "master plumber" came to our home to repair a shower drain. Completed his work and left. No problems, right? Well, months later my wife and I started to notice a mildewy smell coming from that shower drain. After hiring another firm, we were shown first hand that the last plumber (Vincent Plumbing) had gone a bit overboard with his hack saw, cutting a small hole in the elbow joint connecting to our shower drain. This small hole, created a slow leak, which had infiltrated our bath, AND the dining room ceiling below. Hundreds of dollars later, we are back in business, no thanks to Vincent Plumbing. They refused to answer phone calls and emails. Look elsewhere. These guys are hacks in our honest opinion. Jim and Lisa T.

I have dealt with multiple companies buying repairing water softeners and irom filters. Not anymore, from now on its Bill Mattsen. now on, its Bill Mattsen. Bill was super helpfutl on an unbiased repair vs. replace decision on my iron filter. He also pointed out my less than 2 year old water softener was not working right. I should have bought my water softener from Bill, but I didn't know of him them. Bill showed me how I can do some basic maintenance on my new iron filter to keep it purring. His hourly rate slightly more than half the cost of my Culligan service call. Bill is a small business owner, personable, he clearly knows his stuff.
