The locks all worked to day until you showed up and picked the lock. Now the stem is frozen, will not go up or down and you admitted coming moo my residence to make a key. You admitted picking the lock . I saw you pick the lock with a device from your tool selections. Noe it doesn't work. The problem is when I just went to lock the car up for the night it doesn't work, you left here less than two hours ago and no one else has been near the car. No one has tried to pick the lock.. I called to have you take a look and fix this and you denied having anything to do with it. This is unacceptable behavior for a craftsmen and unprofessional. You are responsible for getting this lock repaired. You were unable to cut a new key and were unable to figure out who could as you promised.. You do not represent your comp[any well. This is negligence. Please have your father, Marty senior, a reputable man, call me to get this sorted out-

I was told they don't do adjustments. April told me just like you don't receive adjustments for internet & cable. I did get adjustments for those bills. I will be looking for another company as soon as my contract is up in February. This is how you don't treat customers.Ive been with this company since August 2004.Unbelievable.

I got berated for calling out due to having to go to the ER for extreme muscle pain, and then after showing up to post after 3 days with no sleep, a client called EMS on me out of concern because I was falling asleep and passing out on my feet. When EMS showed they checked me out and told me that I was not fit for duty and needed to get relieved so I could get some rest. I updated my dispatch and not even 2 minutes after, the lead supervisor called and told me he would not send me a relief as it was my fault I could not sleep. I am former military and have severe PTSD and Insomnia, I also live half a block from Biurbon St in New Orleans. I was fired for following EMS advice and leaving post to get some much needed rest. The lead supervisor, Shawn Smith, is a habitual liar and no good for the company. The company is licensed as an Armed Security provider and legally cannot hire anyone under the age of 21, however they have a minor employed and posted at an armed post, as an Unarmed guard. The company is highly unethical, 1/10 Do NOT recommend trying to work with them.

We chose Southern Alarms because they were running a special through ADT. It was the best decision…read morewe could have made!! We set the order up on Sunday with the owner, Lloyd Saxon. There were NO high pressure sales. Lloyd explained everything perfectly. He was very helpful while I asked him a ton of questions. (I even asked him to explain the other review on here) He examined our current system and made recommendations on what might work better. Again, let me be very clear...there were NO high pressure sales. Lloyd simply took the time to explain all the options (cameras, window sensors, wireless vs wired, etc) in detail. He broke down our payment options clearly and concisely. He wanted to make sure there were no surprises on our first bill. He also gave us a detailed description of the installation process, as well as a description of his technician's abilities and experience. (He hires college graduates and not just some guy with a drill!!!) Three days later at exactly the time we scheduled (technically 10 minutes earlier!) our technician, Austin, arrived. As nice as Lloyd is...Austin is the BEST!!! He has an engineering degree from LSU. He walked us through all the steps he would be doing during installation. He had several difficulties with the existing hard wired system, none that were his fault. They were likely the fault of the builder. He never asked for additional money. There were NO "extra" or "hidden" fees. He simply spent time needed to wire the new system the correct way. He helped us get the exact views we were looking for from our cameras. He also spent time explaining in detail how to work the system so that everyone in the house understood. Again, we NEVER paid Austin any additional monies nor did he ask for it. Let me add, that while Austin is a great technician, he's also someone you don't mind having in your home. So many companies take the cheap way out and hire sketchy contractors to save a buck. This is NOT the case with Southern Alarms. They found a true engineer, someone who is very polite and clean cut and they hired him. I'd take Austin over 1000 sketchy contractors any day. Thank you Southern Alarms, Lloyd Saxon and Austin for doing an amazing job for us. Thank you for giving us that added layer of protection for our home and family. You guys are amazing!!! K. Smith ***update**** over a month in and the system still works exactly as expected. We couldn't be happier with our service. There were no hidden fees and our billing is exactly as expected with ADT.
