Upon entering the office, the entire staff stopped what they were doing and immediately greeted with the most incredible smiles.  I mean, REAL SMILES!  Not "forced, fake, or part of some greeting protocol." When I called my dad that morning and told him the pain I was in, he said, "let me make a quick phone call.  I will call you right back."  Within two minutes, he got me an appointment at Washington Dental in Carson, despite their impacted schedule and the short notice.  My dad has always raved about the top quality service and amazing care he has always received with them, so I felt confident walking into their office. Carina and Martha were extremely patient with me, addressing all of my concerns, which I have to admit, took longer than it should have due to my indecisiveness.   Leasle displayed real care and regard for the pain I was in.  Clarissa went "above and beyond" to provide affordable payment options so I could receive the treatment I needed.  The entire front office staff provided a loving and empathic approach, rarely seen in healthcare today.  They made me feel comfortable and emotionally cared for.  Most importantly, they ensured that I completely understood all the medical, financial, insurance, and treatment recommendations, being made. The medical staff took time to explain, in detail, each step they needed to perform, to device an appropriate treatment plan.  They made me feel completely confident in their expertise and recommendations.  Brenda, who took my dental impressions, was delicate and displayed a care and regard, rarely seen in similar settings.   I am unsure I'd she also took my x-rays, but that clinician was very pleasant, extra diligent in checking to ensure my comfortability, and explaining each step in the process. Dr. Hingu (or Dr. H, as he is called by others), was extremely knowledgeable, confident, yet sensitive, and displayed a real respect and regard for me.  His approach embodies the "bed-side manner," which patients' need and is unfortunately become a rarity in the approach many doctor's in today medical field display when dealing with their patients'.  He is truly an expert in his field.  Dr. H addressed all my concerns and spent more time with me than I expected. If I have missed anyone in my review, please know that they are just as amazing at their jobs and deserve the same credit and recognition for the work they do.  Never, have I witnessed, such high level of care, knowledge, and regard, consistently displayed among an entire staff, within ANY field of medicine (which I myself, have also worked in the medical community for 17 years), as I have at Washington Dental (Carson).  I am confident that their other locations rise to the same level of excellence in the care they provide. I am absolutely grateful for the treatment, personal attention, regard, respect, time, empathetic approach, emotional support, and professionalism, provided to me, by the individuals aforementioned. I was visiting California from Texas when the pain from a capping procedure done 4 months earlier in Texas got progressively worse and intolerable. The sympathetic staff scheduled me for an immediate appointment. After the free x-ray and examination, it was determined I needed a root canal. It would be done in 2 stages. Immediately, I was anesthetized...no pain. Then 3 roots were removed...again, no pain. The second procedure was scheduled for a week later. Within 3 days the tooth pain got progressively worse...I was subsequently prescribed stronger medication that wotked until the second procedure. The second procedure revealed I had a hidden 4th root not detected by x-ray...which caused the aforementioned pain. Again there was no pain during the second procedure and my jaw was not stressed. Everyone at Washington Dental in Carson, are super customer focused and top notch professionals at their task and speciality. I highly recommend them and wish I could find a similar dental office when I return to Texas. read more

To start with about 9 months ago I needed two lower molar implants and a loose crown replaced. After receiving a mailed flyer I called and received an appointment the next day. The office and work areas are very clean. The dental assistants Roxy and Sandra are very knowledgeable and excellent at their work. Angela very good communicating, explaining all the procedures and prices, nice and professional. The general dentist Dr. Zhang is spot on, excellent and precise, the best I have had in the past 60 years, I know a good dentist when I visit one. Dr. David installed my implants, he also is an excellent doctor, does terrific work, spot on, no pain, everything works and fits liked I hoped. I did get some estimates for the crown and implants, I saved a BUNCH.. Bottom line I was surprised with this office in Carson, they have certainly built up my faith and trust so I give them five stars for giving me a great dentistry, and a great deal. thank you Washington Dental! read more

I'm a man who has an open mind to a lot of learning curves and etiquette in a place of business so I'm a little more lenient than others in this case the standard was set to a level that words will absolutely cheat the office was immaculate the service was respectful timely Swift transparent, and most importantly open-minded. The office manager in particular was above and beyond and seemingly resourceful with any assistance with information that she provided the dentist was very formal and straightforward and I agree with everything he said and for that reason I will be back and this will probably be my home of dentistry and for my child if she doesn't go out of state for college. The service here was absolutely outstanding the equipment was clean professional everything was spaced out and clean even the front desk was well sequenced with anything you needed at will was just absolutely perfect and I'm not just saying that. read more

Very inviting atmosphere. Karen and Martha greet you with a smile and are more than approachable. The upbeat music they play helps the experience. Who the hell wants to get their teeth drilled to Kenny G on the tenor sax like every other dentist office. Met with the dentist at the first appointment. She was brief and to the point. Didn't need her to elaborate on a science I have zero knowledge of. She gave me her suggestion and let me decide if it was worth the money. Came back the next day and Christina, the oral hygienist, got cracking on the deep cleaning. She was awesome. Hard to like someone after they spend an hour hacking away at your teeth (I hadn't been to the dentist in ten years) but this was a rare exception. I have to go back and I'm not dreading it. Great staff! Give them raises. I know how hard it is to find quality employees. 5 stars Washington Dental. Great stuff. read more

what can I say this was the best experience I have had in a dental office in a long time. Natalia is very good a her job she took time with me I a grumpy person and she softened up my heart last Tuesday. I also got a reminder call from her to share my experience and I'm glad she did. I experience Washington smiles was amazing. Haven't been to the dentist in six years. They are in great group from the front office to the back I'm very happy I chose this place. I was actually calling for a different office and Natalia wone me over. The doctor was gentle Dr Craig with my root canal procedure I'm ready for the rest of my treatment. First time patient, I haven't seen a dentist in a while, do to no insurance. I walked and immediately was greeted by Isela, the young lady I spoke to on the phone to make my appointment and the other 2 young ladies, they were all very welcoming and pleasant. I filled out a few sheets of paper, a good tip..fill out the paperwork on line, make the process smoother. I was called back to do X-rays by Marvella, I hope I spelled names right. She was very caring and made my experience great! Examination went well, no cavities phew! Thank God! Although I did need a deep cleaning, which we all need to keep our teeth maintained. Now my insurance doesn't cover much. But good thing I talked to Natalia the benefits coordinator. She gave me some options to work with to make my life easier. All together! From the very first phone call, she was incredibly informative and detailed--she took the time to explain everything clearly, from insurance and scheduling to what to expect during my visit. "They" say customers are more inclined to write negative reviews as opposed to positive. So imagine me writing two raving reviews for ONE company! I'm moving out of state very soon but have been wrapping up as much dental work as possible which means I've been to Washington Dental and encountered many of the staff members more than is ideal (for dentist office visits). The care level of the team, from front office to Dentist is top notch. Even though I'm moving (just a 35 minute plane ride away) I will definitely be coming back for dental care. I came to the office a coward (dental wise) but they took such good care of me, I can confidently walk in knowing all is well, I'll have VERY minimal pain, epic care, and be met with smiling faces the whole way. read more

Very professional and friendly. The best thing for me is if they schedule you for an appointment, they keep it. No sitting around waiting because of over booking. I do have one suggestion, hang a clock in waiting room. If when you sign in, you have to put down the time it would be nice to know what time it is. The staff knows their job and is a big help to the Doc, who by the way is very good at his job and explaining what is going on. Michelle performed my deep cleaning and had to give me a couple of shots, which I barely felt. For all my general work Brenda is there and has everything ready for the Doc when he gets ready to start.
