I find Dr. Maria's system excellent. She is a genuinely caring professional with a likable personality. I once called her office during a closed day, and she responded very pleasantly to my concern. During another situation Dr. Maria told me tearfully about her goal to help low-income people maintain their dental health, and she was very sincere. If she wasn't, she should then move into show business! Her all-female staff has always been pleasant and professional to me, which I've found is exceptional among med/dent organizations. I didn't give Carson Dental the full five stars because every time I've been there Dr. Maria has more bad news to give me about my teeth, despite my high maintenance of them. I don't blame her for that, since I've had very brittle diabetes for 40 years, which is known for affecting the teeth badly. They were both nervous at first but they were so happy by the time it was over. If I could give this dentist office a lower rating than one star, I would. My father spent over $7,000 on his dentures and it took THREE months to even receive them. He requested top dentures and his dentures are HORRENDOUS. They are too big for his mouth, stick out, and are uncomfortable for him when he eats and talks. He states that they even move and make noise when he chews. For paying 9k we expected quality and received cheap dentures with a dentist who will not fix or replace the dentures. The dentist used the excuse that he would need new dentures bc his "gums are shrinking." I have never heard of such a thing. Save your money and look elsewhere. read more

They are also very forgiving about missing appointments. They even work with your work schedule to ensure you can see the Dentist. My mom has had 2 dentures break on her and she always comes here because they take care of her in a timely manner and their prices are the best around. Dr. Aluning became our dentist after switching since 2016. We started as an emergency walk-in patient, since then my spouse and I keep on coming back. During initial visit I usually get quite anxious but she'll see to it that you'll be comfortable and will make any procedure pain free. Before you'll have a procedure done, someone will explain about your insurance coverage and co-pay (she will show you personally on the monitor and itemize your out of pocket fee-if there is any...which I really do appreciate the most before proceeding with what should be done). Chipped tooth the night before. These guys accept my insurance but I had never gone to to them. Never in a hurry to get to a dentist until I have an EMERGENCY. Well, I was not sure about the location and parking, but gave it a go. From the start I knew I was good to go. They had my favorite cable channel on! I met Emily, Fay, Roy, Rex, Dr. Dong and Fita. Great staff. When it was all said and done, I did not mind the one hour wait (I had a same day appointment and it was my first visit). But, most of all, it was cool discussing the cable channel program with other patients. It's like we were INSTANT buds, so the hour wasn't too bad, afterall. Though, granted, I do not want that to be the norm. Dr. Dong has a great sense of humor and I like his laugh, it's almost a giggle. I felt even more comfortable with his administration of the numbing drug, again and again, because I needed a lot (and typically do). Though the place was jumpin', Dr. Dong and the staff had me feeling I was the most important person in their world. Emily was excellent at keeping the show on the road! That woman is all over the place making sure everything is everything. I had to laugh when I saw the chocolate, fresh apples and licorice at the counter. "So, you really want us to feel bad about neglecting our teeth or show us what we can aspire to eat once again!" I joked. Fita, knows her stuff, too. She will do anything she can to make your plan work for you. I like her style. Rex primarily did my x-rays (Roy had started. I guess he passed out from the sight of my cavities!). I like Rex. He's pleasant and knows his job. I like the state-of-the-art machine(s). No more uncomfortable little film plates to stuff in your mouth. All computerized. These guys pulled all the stops for me and I have the impression they would have without me threatening to pull the pin on the grenade I brought. JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING! I went back, shocker I know, I got a call from Dr. Maria's office and said my deep clean is "100% covered" it was not I get to the office and they tell me I have to pay $100, fine, I really need it and have the money so I get it done. Dr. Maria tried to fix the SAME filling and kind of did it. There isn't a constant pain there anymore it hurts when I eat or drink anything and occasionally get woken up from the pain in the middle of the night. I highly doubt 5th time's a charm so this time I really will be looking for another dentist and maybe they can fix it. Went for a cleaning on 6/4/18. It was my first time. Ive been looking for a good dental place near me. Lady in the front was really nice and helpful. Last dental office i went to rushed everything from beginning to end. I had a pleasant experience at this office, especially with Krizia! She did my cleaning and i loved how she was very thorough--she took her time and addressed my concerns. And so did the dentist. First off I have to say I've never been happier in my life! I visited Carson Dental Care about 2 years ago and I was very unhappy with myself and the appearance of my teeth. I never smiled, in fact I had not smiled in over 10 years, and told the dentist "i hate my smile, whatever it looks like," and she promised me I'd be walking out of there smiling. Turns out she was right, I walked out of that office smiling. Grant it I had like 3 teeth pulled and a built up bridge and pain,but it did the trick for the time being. But wait, I was smiling but not quite the way i wanted to, so they fix that! On my third visit, I had a bright sparkling smile, and I just can't stop smiling. My family and friends saw a big change in my confidence, and because of that I was able to leave my dead-end job and started working for a reputable company. Your smile says a lot about you, especially when you can actually smile and express to others how you really feel without being embarrassed. So I went from being unhappy with low self-esteem to being ecstatic and confident about life.
