My washer and dryer are too small for my comforter so I was looking forward to it coming back nice, clean and dry! It was shoved into a bag, still wet! Now, I am stuck with a large wet comforter... There were two sets of my sheets at the bottom of the bag - now damp from the wet comforter and also not folded. I brought my items in using a laundry basket so I don't know why some of my sheets were in the bottom of the bag... The 4th set of sheet was returned to me in the laundry basket. The new owner needs to learn about High Point Terrace and the people that have gone there for many years. We have found a better laundry and we are flocking there. So sad to see a Landmark like this go bad. High Point Terrace is a wonderful neighborhood in Memphis, TN, in fact probably one of the best in the US.

Unfortunately Memphis just happens to be an expensive place to get your clothes cleaned by someone else! Who knew! When I think of an ideal dry cleaning place I imagine the following: friendly, customer oriented, affordable and a place that does dry cleaning and alterations (kind of a rare find in the downtown area). Most places in Memphis that I've been to don't touch on any of these and if they do its friendliness. High Point Cleaners, however covers most of these. The were friendly and customer service oriented. Each time I have come in the store they are sweet as can be. I real neighbors business feel run by happy people. They also seem very personable. I was out of the country when they called to let me know my alterations were done. My voicemail indicated I was on vacation. The lady who called not only told me my order was don't but that she hoped I had a great trip and they'd see me when I returned. It's little things like that which make my heart swell for good businesses. They also, as I said, do alterations! As for affordability, I do think they are pricey but not out of line with much of Memphis. They do offer $10 off for 6 items of clothing. I will get a detailed ticket next time to post more info. Overall 4.5 stars. Should they put out more coupons I'd would happily give them a 5 star rating. And if not I'll still add this to my list of places to get clothes cleaned and it will likely be a first choice due to offering of alterations and the down right awesome customer service!
