I pressed the hot water temp button for all 4 of the 1st 4 top loader washers and GOT NO HOT WATER!! In fact COLD! Fraud.

I called this laundry earlier in the evening to find how late I could wash and fold etc.. The lady that answered is I assume the owner and was very nice and accommodating, saying that you can stay later to fold your laundry than the stated 12 am closing time. She said that it is surveilled and that they let you in if they can tell that you are a customer. So I went there due to it being close to where I was and being open so late. I went in at about 11:15 pm to start 4 top loader machines and pressed the hot water buttons on all 4, but got cold water instead, thus the 1 star rating. This is fraud unless you put a sign on each machine indicating that not only won't you get hot water, but neither will you get warm water either. Had I known that these machines will only put out cold water, I would have waited until tomorrow to do my laundry. And couple that with lots of dryers that are out of service and wasting money in one of the older dryers that wouldn't put out enough heat to dry towels, well, not good. I had already filled the 2 newer dryers with clothes and wanted to separate some older work towel/rags that I put in an older dryer, that just wasted a dollar in quarters. I had to switch them to one of the newer dryers after I had removed my clothes to fold them. AND this laundry has no fans, which made this a hot, sweaty chore which would be unbearable in the daytime Memphis heat, made hotter by their dryers and no circulation in there. So no, I'd have to be hard up, to go back. They get by with this because there aren't many better choices in the Memphis or Bartlett area to do laundry at. And no one came to clean or lock up when I was there until about 1:45 am. The door has a manual lock, not an automated lock that a surveillance company or anyone could control without being present to lock it with a key. I didn't mind that, but most women might feel unsafe due to the high crime rate in Memphis. I like to do laundry late when it's cooler and I'm not busy with other errands. So that's a plus here if you don't mind washing your clothes in cold water while sweating.

Every once in a while the laundromat is a necessity. This one is clean and has tons of machines to…read moreget your stuff done quickly. I like that they are open until 11pm as well, because sometimes you need a time that's not in a normal working hour to get your stuff done. There's a liquor store next door too, in case you get super bored. Other than lack of seating (there's only two small 4 top tables and three other chairs) I see no problems with this place at all. Smells clean, machines seem clean & well maintained. There's a snack machine, beverage machine & soap center in case you forget stuff you need. There's also some vending machines, a tv, & nice cold working AC. The large machine I used was $4.75 for one (huge) load of clothes. I didn't need to use the dryer as I still have a working one at home. Attendant didn't greet us but there is someone on duty. Also, the place is well lit.

I rarely need to go to a laundry mat as I have a washer and dryer at home, but drinking in bed and…read morefalling asleep and having an oversized comforter necessitated a trip to the laundry mat, lol. This laundry mat is well lit, attended and reasonably clean as laundry mats go, they even have a community news paper on Sundays. Change, laundry supplies and soaps are readily available via dispensing machines. An attendant mans the desk and takes an occasional stroll thru the facilities for a quick sweep. There are some popular 80's video games such as Mrs. Pac-Man and my personal favorite Galaga. I don't get to the laundry often but when the need arises, this laundry mat takes some of the sting out of washing clothes with strangers. Oh I'm not sure if there is a standard but this place is pretty pricey so bring plenty of change.
