I absolutely love this place! I dropped off three overflowing baskets of laundry for my family of four when our dryer went out one morning, and the whole process could not have been easier. The staff weighed the baskets, gave me a quick ticket, and said they'd call if they had any questions. The next morning, I got a text letting me know everything was ready. When I arrived, the parking lot was full and I had a crying newborn in the backseat so I called, and they immediately brought everything out and loaded it right into my trunk. Every item was perfectly clean and folded, and that level of service truly lifted such a weight off my shoulders. I actually live in Desoto County and I choose to drive to this laundromat mainly because it is very safe, clean, and very well operated. I know the police are always patrolling and that gives me a good sense of safety. Someone is always on duty to assist you with anything you need. No one asked me to write this I just felt a great appreciation for being able to get in and out safely and quickly. read more

I went there to wash my outdoor cushions. The young lady there was so helpful and loaded the cushions to where they fit in one washer machine. It took only 30 minutes to wash and they were very clean. It costed $8.25 to use the big washer. Make sure you bring plenty of quarters and some washing powder. They have a change exchange machine if you don't have quarters. The place was very clean, has a TV to pass the time and some snack machines if you get hungry. I just had interaction with the owner (very rude man) very rude to me all because washer took my money & I wasn't aware that any operator was there until a another customer told me (an hour later) I seen the worker .. I wasn't even going to ask for it back as I was coming to nip my laundry in a couple of hours instead of all day.. I stated hey sir this machine one of 3 of I was trying to use took my money ... he said did you change your mind , I said no it took my quarters and didn't count for it .. he pointed to 21 and said yes it did .. I then said let me show you and put a quarter in he then said it's jammed & you could have just came and got me ... I said excuse me, he said nothing and at that point he pissed me off with his rude and arrogant attitude ... he gave me my coins .. and about 25/30 minutes later .. I noticed him being so nice to the men inside the mat.. so I asked him as he was fixing the machine did I come off as rude or say anything to him to be treated rudely .. he said yea you were you very rude you said the machine "stole" your money... never once did I say stole . How can a machine steal money.. he said he wasn't going back and forth with me.. I said I didn't even know you were here wasn't going to ask for it back ... he said the window is open and the light on .. I said sir I don't come here every week I have a washer and dryer at home ... and I simply said you lack accountability if you misunderstood something you could have asked clarity not once did I say stole .. he said he doesn't lack accountability and I said most white men don't acknowledge that they lack accountability.. he said now I'm racist ... ......... very clean facility, nice machines ..... oh and I let him know I won't be back knowing he wouldn't care lol and of course he said that's fine ......he may be nice to you just don't get a machine with a default and say "took" or stole or whatever he interprets... he may be rude to you as well... hopefully you have a better day ! I was a little hesitant when it came to making a trip to the laundromat but it turned out okay. Working machines, attendant on duty, good change machine, way better than I expected. My expectation were based on a 40+ year memory of dinghy broken unpleasantness that has apparently never existed here. Silly me and my angst and the ghost of undies past. Not bad for a laundromat! Our washer is broken and will take some time for the parts to come in so here I am. I dropped some clothes off to be washed and dried by the attendant. Then I came back to wash a few loads. This was not as traumatic as I thought it would be. It is clean but there are a few machines that are out of order. Brenda is the attendant and she was very helpful. She explained everything to me and made sure I used the right machines for what I was trying to do. I brought in 44lbs of clothing for her to handle for me and it was $30. I don't know if that is a good price or not but I happily paid it because the clothes were piling up at home. I will definitely come back to take care of our comforters and larger items. read more

Great place to do a few loads of wash when power was out & water issue in Gtown - clean and safe place to go

When it comes to curtains or king size comforters that won't fit in my own washer & dryer. The Washing Place is a blessing to have in Collierville. The nearest one would be 10mi or so away in Memphis. I'd so I hate to drive that distance myself for my needs of oversized laundry. The Washing Place offers soap and dryer sheets in their vending machine on site if you forgot to bring your own. I have washed curtains bed sheets & clothes on that occasion my washer and dryer broke. I may from the price is a little high when it comes to washing but that's ok. Their industrial machines are of great quality & get the job done. Was in town for extended business and needed to clean my work clothes. Came in on a Sunday morning, right after opening. Plenty of machines available. The quarter machine worked well. The detergent machine worked well. The washers and dryers worked well. All the other customers were nice, and everyone did their laundry without any weirdness. Minus one star because it was a little dusty. Bring some Clorox wipes with you and wipe down the folding tables. read more

Nice laundry with plenty of industrial machines (standard and large) which allow you to spread your loads and get done faster. Come early on Sunday because this is probably the most popular day and it was packed by the time I left around noon. Pricing for a standard front loader was $2.50 and $5 for industrial front load. Standard dryer is 50¢ for 10 mins and maybe 25¢ each additional 5 mins or somewhere close to that (as of April 2018). read more
