I gave 3 Stars instead of 5 simply because of one of their Hispanic female employees who has been there a long time. She always has an attitude! I go there on a weekly basis and I dread her being there with her Don't bother me attitude! Most are wonderful and ready to help you whether it's change or to buy products. Last time I visited was Sunday August 10 @ 12:30 pm Butternut Street location. I go to both Butternut and N 10th. Frequent most Butternut. That employee gives the worst customer service. This used to be a great place to get your laundry done...now not so much. They've raised their prices and at the same time so ehow lowered the quality of their machines. One wash and one dry used to get everything done. Now if you want your stuff clean you have to run it through the washer twice and through the dryer at least 3 times....and these are small to medium loads and leaving plenty of tumble room in the washer. Maybe the machines need cleaned or maintenanced, but the owner clearly doesnt care to do so. read more

I accidentally left a large load of my clothes in their washer for nearly a week and just realized it! Almost freaked out! My husband called and we went up there! .They saved my clothes, washed them dried them and the clothes were linked to my card!! I am so thankful for this place! Thank you Erica!!! Somewhere on this planet, amongst the shuffling masses, hiding in plain sight, exist the few and far between people who love doing laundry. But, sadly, I am not one of those people. Maybe it's the fact that I spend half my life picking up dirty socks (only the left ones!) behind my children as they storm through my house...maybe it's the meticulous folding (it's like some mystical fabric origami!)....maybe it's the headache inducing great mystery of how much liquid laundry soap is too much... Or maybe...just maybe...it's the laundromats. Hot, old, dingy and loud...not always in the greatest part of town...broken machines and angry patrons having staring contests over the last push cart. These are things I've come to associate with laundromats. Along with the jingling of dozens of quarters dropped as I try to fumble them into those ridiculous little slots. This place is nothing like that. Spotlessly clean, tons of new machines with really reasonable prices. Friendly staff, extra laundry detergent available as well as Kcup coffee and tiny candy bars. Everyone who does their laundry here is in a great mood too it's uncanny. Best of all: NO QUARTERS. They have digital cards you can load at a machine using your debit card. It's magical. I even pulled a load of laundry out once that had a pair of MATCHING socks in it. True story. They even have a drop off wash and fold service that's amazing (and fast!)... There's just no more pleasant way to have to go about doing such an unpleasant chore than to spend your time doing it here. I even bring my kids and we do some homeschool lessons while we wash. Washing and drying is a little pricey but it's the best laundromat I've been to so far. I survived at this place until I got my washer and dryer. I washed here four months straight. This seems like a newer laundromat. The machines are state of the art and the place is clean. There were at least two ladies on duty the hour that we were there, and they were consistently sweeping and changing out garbage bags. There are four different size washers from a double load to an 80 lb washer that will do 4-5 king size comforters. Their prices are $2.50, $5.00, $7.50, and $10.00. They do use a card system, but if you plan correctly then you can leave the card empty. You can also use a debit/credit card if you're adding more than $5. They don't charge for the card itself. The huge dryers are $0.50 for a 21 minute cycle. That, to me, was the only down side. I had a few items still damp, but I didn't want to wait another 21 minutes for them. In hindsite, I could have started another dry cycle and left it incomplete but oh well. There were plenty of wheeled baskets and folding tables. There were also some cafe tables, and a place for kids to play. They offered snack items for sale as well as laundry supplies. I didn't take a close look at these things so I can't tell you anything else. read more

I used the pickup/drop off full laundry service. They were very good about communicating. However, they found and charged for extra pounds of laundry that wasn't there. Everything sent was pre-weighed, and when the numbers were relayed, they were all a match. Except the extra. We would have used them repeatedly as I have aged parents who would have utilized this service for their future needs. Instead they wanted to charge for weight that didn't exist. So they got their full amount this time. It will be the last. Unfortunate. read more

This place is so nice and clean. The employees are always cleaning and I never once had an issue with any of the washers or dryers. It was only my 2 year old and I every time and I always felt safe when we were there. They have a play area for kids, snacks, detergent for purchase and coffee. They have a drop off service if you are too busy in your weekly grind. If your washer and dryer has simply gone out or you are in transition go here, you will be very pleased. read more

When the location on Butternut first opened, it was kept clean as a pin. Now no one wipes down the folding tables. Unless the young black man is working, no one is sweeping, cleaning, etc. read more

I mean their facility is nice. But the staff are overbearing rude at times. I don't come as regularly as I used to and it's because of them. If they aren't trying to assist when you don't ask them to, they are being rude when you ask them a question. read more

This is the best laundromat experience I've ever had, by far! The facility was incredibly clean, the machines were all working and even though it was busy there were plenty of places to sit or fold. The staff was extremely helpful. The prices were very affordable-it was much cheaper to do two medium loads here than to do several more small loads at my apartment. I would definitely recommend it and I will certainly be going back! I also have to say the card system is really handy, and the snacks are affordable too. read more

"Which laundromat in Abilene has the best reviews?" --a question I never thought I'd be asking but since my washer died on me, it was inevitable. So glad I did though! Wash This Way had the best reviews so I loaded up a week's worth of laundry and headed this way. To say it surpassed expectations is an understatement. Upon entering, you're blown away by the cool air and wonderful smell! Yes, I said COOL AIR! I've been to other laundromats in the past and they were always hot and stinky so this was my first "ahhhh" moment. My kids got excited because there was a spot for them to lounge and play with some toys. *keeping my two young girls entertained without he use of phones is always a plus* There was also a very friendly and accommodating woman behind he counter who was more than happy to show me around and explain a few things. They had super large capacity washers that can hold up to 8, yes 8 freaking loads of laundry! I'm not a "separator" so throwing all of our clothes into one 6 load capacity is washer was an absolutely divine experience. I then threw all of our towels into a 4 load capacity washer and BAM, 19 minutes later, I had our laundry washed and smelling great. The dryers hold up to four loads each and only cost $.50 for 21 minutes. She told me I shouldn't need to run any of them more than once. I didn't. So, for the low cost of $16 and about an hours worth of work, my family had clean clothes again! When it was time to leave, I was kinda sad...maybe I don't want a new washing machine and can come here once a week to do all the laundry at once. Did I really think that? Yes, yes I did. Oh, I forgot the best part, NO QUARTERS! They have cards you put money on that can be used not only for the machines, but for the snacks they offer at very reasonable prices. Normally, I have such great experiences here. Quality machines, clean and modern. All updated. Employees usually very friendly and helpful without hovering. But today, had an employee who was condescending and snarky about "keeping my cart within the zones" which i had never heard before. My cart was pressed up against my hamper which was pressed up against the machine I was using and there was still room right behind me as a couple was still able to have a hamper and load the machines behind me. She had tried to take my cart that I had just brought over right in front of her. Seems unnecessarily petty to me. Had she simply asked me to put the cart against the machines, I would have obliged and apologized. She later took the cart when it WAS against the machines I was using. I opted not to get another because I didn't want to have a passive-aggressive back and forth with an employee about carts. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but would have preferred if she could have been a little more polite/pleasant. Other employee who was with her was friendly and polite. read more
