I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this laundromat. I always wash my WHOOP bracelet…read morein the washer with my clothes, and this time it was lost. I was told it may have gone onto the train and that there was nothing they could do except say sorry. I've been to more than 36 laundromats across the United States, and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. An apology does not replace an expensive bracelet, and customers should be clearly warned if there is any risk of personal items being lost during the wash process. I expected better accountability and customer service. Very disappointing experience.

I spoke to her nicely and called her ma'am twice when she completely pretended to not hear me to try and explain to her that I have my eyes on him and he wasn't doing anything but touching the door knob. she proceeded to tell me that cause he touched the vending machine and was touching the knob that I can't control him which I tried telling her that my baby has cancer and is currently doing steroids which keep him very active and bipolar and he can't stay still but that I had my eyes on him at all times and he wasn't breaking or damaging anything cause I wouldn't allow that for her to understand. She said once again if I can't control him to leave because the owners check cameras and tell them stuff which I told her that I completely understand, but that my son was only touching the door knob or about to because she moved him and told him to go with his mom that she didn't have to be rude to him. I left in tears cause I even tried telling her that I can't spank him due to his cancer he gets bruces easily and I am getting after him but apparently I couldn't control him According to her. I wouldn't have made it a big deal but I was watching him and he wasn't doing anything wrong. she didn't even want to understand that I was upset cause he wasn't doing anything and she was being rude for no reason she kept cutting me off telling me that the owners will get after her for not telling parents that if they can't control their kids to leave and if I don't like it to just leave which I did.

She then went on to tell me well we have a different washer for that. I told her I didn't need a different washer for plain dirt and some mud. They then proceeded to see how much laundry soap I was going to use and not to over fill. I felt like I had my stepmother looking over me telling me how laundry is done. I then asked if I could borrow the bathroom and they refused to lend it to me. They went on to say that due to other customers inappropriate behavior that no one else was allowed to use the bathrooms. I told her it was sad that she would judge everyone due to other behavior. This lady acted so prejudice against us from the moment we walked in the door. Feeling so heartbroken that this type of behavior still goes on in this day and time. Lastly as I sat down to wait for the wash to complete I took my phone out to look and read my emails to make the time worth while. I then heard the old lady tell the other lady I bet she's going to write a review on Facebook now. I thought to myself I wasn't planning on it but since you insist here it is.

The problem arose when I got my laundry back. Every shirt that I own was wrinkled like it had been wadded up and stuck in a laundry hamper. I understand this is not a drycleaner, but I can do better myself at home. I have to wear the shirts for work and it's disappointing that I was asked if I wanted Downy, and this is the result. I can't wear these and meet with clients-and they should've known that this was not acceptable.

There are roaches on and in the machines, finding this on my visit 01/20/2022 was the last straw for me using this laundromat as I found roaches in and on the machine I was using. Not to even mention the trash overflowing, limited laundry basket rollers and general dirtiness. As another reviewer stated it is extremely hot and stuffy and uncomfortable to sit inside for any prolonged period of time, even in the winter! Do not go to Simmons Laundry if you have any other choice in laundromats. It's a shame as this location is closest and most convenient to my apartment.

It's very small, and people use every single washer and dryer possible, so when you get one stick with it. Bugs were crawling all around the floor and walls.
