I took a few pairs of pants and a jacket that needed a new zipper - turn around for pants are 1 month and the jacket ? 2 months. Why? Because "prom". So, dont take your items around prom season unless you have months to wait. She also said I would need to provide a zipper for the jacket, but then changed her mind and told me she had a zipper (pulled from a big bag of zippers) that I could purchase instead. So, a question of honesty lingers. For services recieved, this place is not worth the hassle.

She does the best work on military clothing. She knows all of the Air Force clothing regulations off the top of her head and always centers stripes exactly where they need to go. Her prices are more than reasonable! Extremely busy lady who can afford to charge cheaply by having a constant flow of work. I recently brought her a London Fog trench coat to custom fit. She asked when I needed it by and I said she could take her time. She had it ready in less than a week! Absolutely perfect fit! This is the only alterations shop in Abilene, as far as I'm concerned!

I had an event for which I dropped off a suit to be cleaned. My person to pick up the suit fell through and I didn't end up with my suit for the event when I went to get ready. Panicked, I reached out to every means of getting ahold of them possible, begging for the chance to grab it despite them being closed. They came through! The owner not only communicated with me on a day that the business was closed, when she found out what I needed, she drove all the way in and opened the store just for me, and allowed me to get my suit. The biggest reason that this all should really be something that tugs at the heart strings to read: it was a Santa suit. The one that I wear when I go and professionally portrait, Santa this time of year for kiddos. What she did for me insured that I would not have to cancel over a simple mistake and disappoint all those kids. I cannot thank them enough, and if it wasn't for the fact that I already was such a big fan of their business, I would say they have a customer for life. Truth is, they had already won me over long before that.
