I have always said, "No one cleans your house the way you do, so just let go of that expectation and you'll be fine." In this case I have to say - they do! They clean all the obvious stuff but they also notice things like the top of the stove hood that gets all greasy, the inside of the fridge where spills happen and it looks gross. In this house we have lots of those long cob webs that you don't notice unless you look up. They actually look up! The other day I was in the bedroom and showed my husband, "OMG! They cleaned the fan blades! No one does that." Also important to me is that the people are very friendly, use good cleaning products (not harsh chemicals) and don't have a problem with my big dogs in the house while they work. Last, Efficient Housekeeping is involved in island charities (I met the owner at one of these), which is very nice. Locally owned, woman owned and supportive of our community. Totally worth it to have them come in and clean 2-4x a month. Oh, and you can pay them with (credit card!) via PayPal.

They do a great job, it's not that expensive and every week I pick up lovely clean and folded blankets. It is so hard to make sure the house gets cleaned properly every week and it's a huge relief to know that's done. I never knew clean, reliable laundry would be so important in my life but with guests rating my house on every little thing it's become a headache. I'm not sure why they don't have more 5 star reviews. I called and spoke with the manager and then met her at the store. She was so helpful and courteous and everyone there has been the same.
