We love going to the sauna. Amazing! We love the location and that it's close by our home. We also think Daniel's one of a kind.

Perfect way to end the day after a whole day of snowboarding! Just like most establishments in…read moredowntown, this place doesn't have their own parking lot so give yourself a little bit more time to look for street parking. My husband and I were able to book within the same day for a 90-min experience. We had a private room with an infrared dry sauna, steam room/shower, and a small space with a bench to place our belongings. It looked like there was only one other room for a couple but I'm not sure if they had more that I didn't see? It was nice that we were able to connect our own music to the Bluetooth speakers. We paid $115 for the both of us since we upgraded $5 to include Halotherapy which is a salt capsule released in the infrared sauna. The salt capsule lasted for maybe about 20 minutes but it felt nice breathing it in. Outside on the patio, there were 2 cold plunge tubs. The colder one is a one-person pod while the less cold (which was still soooo cold) could fit 2 people but it'd be better to just do one at a time. There's also a 2-person jacuzzi outside. There's also a set of outdoor furniture that looks inviting to hang out in on a warmer day. Rosa checked us in and thoroughly explained the process since it was our first time here. She was welcoming, helpful, and patient with all of our questions. The experience itself was so rejuvenating. We stayed in the infrared sauna for about 25 minutes (they also provide sunglasses to block out the light), then the steam sauna for about 10 minutes then we hurried outside to cold plunge. We came here in the winter time and so it was already so cold out in the patio. The cold plunge felt so good after being the heat for a while but I could only last for 30-60 seconds before my body gave up. It was nice getting to scurry on over to the hot tub afterwards. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here! I wish we had something like this where I'm from. Next time we're in town for snowboarding, I'll definitely come back here again!

The sauna and cold plunge setup is top-notch, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about creating an environment that promotes both recovery and relaxation. I've been to a few sauna/cold plunge spots before, but this one really stands out -- the temperature contrast is perfect, the vibe is peaceful yet energizing, and ownership makes you feel right at home. Whether you're looking to reset your body after a workout or just clear your mind after a long week, this is the spot. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to feel recharged, grounded, and refreshed.

I've always been hesitant when considering cold plunges but wanted to give it a fair shot. The staff is very welcoming when you come in and they give you a tour. I really like that each person has their own suite so you can go at your own pace and you have the privacy to really enjoy the experience! You get a cold compress to enjoy in the sauna, the sauna starts at 140 but you can adjust up to 170! I stayed at 140 and it was perfect, like a warm blanket. The cold plunge was...a challenge haha I did two sessions of it the first session I only went up to my knees and the next I was able to kneel down into it but man it was cold BUT I loved it. It felt so refreshing and I really felt like I was energized after. They do offer a vitamin c infused shower which to me is a bit of a buzz wordy thing I don't believe that the Vitamin C can really be absorbed that way but hey it is in there so who knows. This was a great experience and I actually ended up signing up for a membership. I like how i feel after doing a session! My only complaint with this place is they don't provide water during your experience you'd have to purchase it and at their price point I don't think it would be too much to expect water to be included. Overall if you've been interested in trying heat/cold exposure this is a great place to give it a shot!

It is very relaxing and I feel rejuvenated after every visit. I have come with my husband on date night and he loves it as well. We bought a monthly membership. The owner is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his business. The saunas are always clean and smell great with aromatherapy. They also provide you with cold water and cold, wet towels to cool down afterwards. You have an hour per session and can get out and cool down whenever you need. I'm really happy I found this place!

In addition they do currently have the rapid boost recovery compression sleeves which I'll come back to make use of single I'm an endurance athlete. They also have the ion magnum sessions you can book. They plan to have the cryotherapy soon and I'm excited to try that as well. They have been really nice and explain everything you need to know about the sauna system and light treatments. This time around they also added a back rest in the saunas which is really nice to lay against. Their iPhone adapter doesn't work on all phones so I either just listen to chill music right on my phone or the radio they have setup. I love that they have cold water and cups for you setup in the rooms. They also provide additional towels and clean wipes for after. The best part is the cold towel when you finish. It's so refreshing! You can lock your room and there's plenty of space for your belongings. Each session is approximately 45 minutes for the sauna.

Do not give this place your business, it will be a huge headache for you…read more On the day my wife and I first went to Löyly to start our memberships, we had to digitally sign a contract. The scrolling function on the front desk's iPad was not working, so we weren't able to actually read the contract--the employee simply told us some of what was on the contract (excluding the parts that came back to bite us) and navigated to the bottom of the screen for us to sign. As far as I knew, I was simply paying $45 monthly for a membership, because that's what they told me I was signing up for. The first unwelcome surprise was an $80 charge out of nowhere a few months in. I assumed that this was a mistake, but was told that it's actually a yearly fee for facility maintenance (so what is my other $540 being spent on every year?) and was included in that contract that I wasn't allowed to read. I contacted some of my friends (who I had referred to Löyly) to see if they were aware of this fee, and sure enough, none of them were. They would have also been blindsided if I hadn't warned them. After a while, it became clear that Löyly wasn't respectable, honest, or quality, and I no longer wanted to be a customer. I tried to cancel my membership with the "Cancel my membership" button on the app, but that was broken, like most things at Löyly. I sent an email to have my account cancelled, and was told that cancellations require 30 days advance notice and a cancellation fee, and my membership couldn't be cancelled until they got another month of money out of me. As a bonus, they sent me a link to their website's "FAQ section," which, as you might have guessed, didn't work! The link goes to a page that doesn't exist. I told them I was never made aware of this cancellation policy, and they said that it was, once again, in the contract that I didn't get to read. The facility itself was perfect for the first couple of months they were open, but has gone severely downhill in the last several months. The floors, saunas, and cold plunges are always dirty and gross. It smells bad. Employees are rarely present and don't do anything when they are present. Half of the cold plunge tubs are always broken, and the working ones are rarely set to the correct temperatures and have bits of dirt and debris floating in them. Löyly has taught me the valuable lesson to never trust a company, no matter how small, local, or friendly.
