Food and customer service is excellent. I love the kabob and the crispy salad. Love it

I would probably recommend takeout only for this place, but if takeout is what you want, then this is the Mediterranean restaurant for you. The ghallaba is delicious and you get a lot for your money, and the lemon rice soup is probably one of the best I've had, isn't that basic Coney Island lemon rice, but tastes truly authentic. Their pita bread was also super delicious. My only complaint for this restaurant was that we had to wait somewhat long to get our food. Even being in the restaurant waiting, they forgot our food was ready and to give it to us.. I will say, the wait was worth it, because the food was delicious. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars. This used to be my favorite restaurant until I ordered a chicken ghallaba today and had a bug in my food. Looks like a fly and it looks dead. You can see the legs and honestly I just threw up all over my food. I will never come here ever again after being a customer for year and coming here almost once a week. I am DISGUSTED. Frank(the manager) said he will make me another meal but he refused to refund me. I don't want another meal cause there was a bug in my food. Don't go here unless you like to eat bugs! read more

I am disappointed with this place. It was for years my families favorite place to dine until our last two or three times. On one occasion we called to order the combo for 5. We are a family of 5. And the little girl who took our order asked for payment over the phone before we got there. I was shocked. That has never been asked of us before. We always order the combo for 5 to 6 people. And we get extra humus as well as extra garlic butter. Usually we spend around $ 89.00 or so. You would think they would appreciate that but they don't. Also the hummus is no longer made fresh. They make it days a head and keep it in containers. And they burn the meat and the falafel. They used to be so good. Now we go to Boffs market. They are slightly more expensive by a couple dollars but worth it. read more

I'm a big fan and it doesn't hurt that they're right down the street, however this place is always clean, always has great service, and I've never had the food be bad once and I've been going there for years. I really recommend this place read more

Went in on the way back home. I wanted Middle Eastern food, so this seemed like a decent choice. At the odd hour (3pm-ish), there were only a few diners, though they had multiple carry out orders. The wait staff was young and untrained. Instead of mentoring and leading, the "boss" took to yelling at the probably-still-in-high-school gals. It was unprofessional at best. With that stressful, toxic environment, I wasn't surprised when they gave me the wrong food. I'm hoping this was an "off day" for the management, but I'm not in a hurry to get back. Having worked in the service industry for years and now as a manager myself, I can't stomach such behavior. The food itself was ok. Not great, not bad, but not as fresh as it could've been (again, probably because it was an odd hour). Good enough for the money. Although the decor was tacky, the place was very clean. It seems like they're trying to do too many things. The owners seem to be buying into unneeded tech (online ordering, etc) to get business. They'd probably do better by focusing on service. read more

Not sure why no one has posted a review!!! But I specifically make sure I stop here when I fly back into my hometown!!! And smuggle at least (4) Chicken Schwarmas, and/or Beef Kafka... back to Atlanta... None of these Mediterranean restaurants down here don't even comes close!!! Luv this place... Y'all need to get on GoldBelly like read more

Very Happy With all the food I have eaten here so far! They have really great hummus and flavorful tender lamb! I'm loving the Lemon Rice Soup, its got a very unique flavor! I have been getting mostly wraps lately but have tried many of the main entrees on the menu and look forward to trying more! read more

This is my favorite middle eastern cuisine, every time I have been here or ordered carry out, its very consistent. The lunch specials are my favorite and I highly recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich with a lentil soup. I have tried many middle eastern spots and this is the one I keep coming back to. read more

Amazing food, my favorite is Lamb Kafta w/garlic sauce, pita and salad. This place has great service eating in as well as carry out. The Fish sandwch is nice as well with generous portions. read more

Hey all: I went here the other day. It was better than I expected. It is in a very modest neighborhood. and is a somewhat small location. When you walk in, the decorating is pretty recent. The restaurant is pretty clean, I would rate it about 8.5/10. I got the lunch combo with meat shwarma, foutoosh salad, and coke. The salad was surprisingly good, well above average. Lots of crispy pita chips & spices on it. EXCELLENT. The meat shwarma sandwich was also well above average. Plenty of meat & vegetables & such in it. What really set it apart was that the meat was piping hot! You could tell it was fresh off the rotisserie. The waitress was attentive and did a good job. So overall, this place is above average in all aspects, clean, good food, good service, good prices. I'll be back! read more

Delicious Mediterranean Food. I have had the chicken Shawarma sandwich and for Touche salad from this restaurant and they both were made to perfection read more

To sum it up-Good food, Great prices, friendly service but they need to clean the tables and walls better. My Husband and I have been dying to try this place since it opened. Currently they are advertising 30% in-dining orders and a 35% off coupon in the Warren Weekly. That means they need business! Not fancy, but nice decor. Immediately, we were greeted. First thing I noticed was that the tabled needed to be wiped down with a wet cloth and cleaner. Someone simply went over it with a dry cloth. Food was yummy. Service was great. Prices...even before the discount are decent. Hopefully they'll get carry-out menu's soon and stay in business for a long time. We'll return for sure. read more

This place is the best. Since we found it with my boyfriend we haven't found a place as good as that. Food is so tasty and prices are great. Portions are big and I love the people there. They are always very polite and with a smile on their face. read more

After about 12 times here, the food quality, portion, and service have fallen. The chicken kafta isn't as tasty, the beef/lamb kafta now has the silverskin membrane left on and ground up, (I trim, grind and stuff my own sausage). Cutting off the tough silverskin is more work, and loses some of the meat, but there are no rubbery tough bits. They shorted my order of the included falafel, the hummus is smaller than before. They used to include the large flat pita bread with the small fluffy pita, but now only the small. Too many downturns. Back to Al-Ameer and Sheeba in Dearborn... read more

Pretty good. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and a lamb shawarma sandwich. Both were really tasty, and get a 4.5 rating. Also got a chicken shawarma plate with rice and grilled veggies The chicken didn't have that nice grilled flavor that I am used to, and the grilled veggies were undercooked, almost raw. I like them a bit soft, but these were crunchy. I got a 12oz side of garlic and it was good, just wished it was creamier. This was somewhat chuncky. Overall, everything was decent, next time I will get more sandwiches. read more

The Falafal is wonderful. I cannot attest to the quality of any meat dishes because I am a Vegetarian. I have only gotten carry out and the staff has always been super nice. I will keep giving them my business. read more

Loved it, the food was steaming Hot and timely. It was clean and my waitress Sky was great!.

Great service, great food. Their Falafel is the best I've had. Great place! The owner or manager always answers any questions you may have very pleasantly. I would rate this place up there with the Bucharest Grill downtown. read more

I'm addicted! Deliciousness is called, Chicken Sharma. Price for the portion of food is good. Their garlic spread is very good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a Mediterranean dish. read more

I had the lamb shish kabob and a double cheese burger. Being a middle eastern place... you would figure the lamb shish kabob would have been better than the cheese burger. Well... it was not. The lamb was dry and tasted more like beef than lamb. Cheese burger was mediocre at best, but definitely better than the kabob. Will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Outstanding. Excellent price, portion and taste. Owner couldn't have been more pleasant and informative. Our server was beyond prompt and courteous. Save your time and money going to the Med Food stop at 12 and Mound, stop off here instead. Better prices, value and most of all, service. read more

It's okay not the best. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and a Shish taouk sandwhich. Both were really good but missing the garlic in the sandwiches. The Garlic sauce tasted terrible and I could tell the hummas was missing a ingredient. read more

Will never go back EVER this place shouldn't never been here the food is nasty ass hell whoever said it's good is a lie I have ate in coney island better then this if you want good food like this go to Hamtramck were they live and cook they food read more

Great little place! I used to go to Super Kabob House and then Oasis, but the quality of both places has diminished over time. Tried this place tonight and I am more than pleased. Great prices and most importantly, fresh, flavorful food! I had the falafel plate and a fattoush, while hubby had the lamb chops with rice and salad. Everything was well-seasoned, well-dressed and fresh. This is my new go-to place for ME cuisine. read more

The food is 3 stars, but the service is 2. I've been here a few times and had sandwiches with chicken and lamb, both were decent. Most recently made the mistake of trying the beef. Never again! It was over-cooked, too tough to chew and trying to eat it ended up destroying the sandwich and knocking the only edible parts (vegetables) to the floor. Annoying. Chicken only from here on out. read more

Terrible and nasty experience I had at the place, the stuff they put inside their sandwiches only god knows what that is. Leftovers, nasty fat muscle parts that you can't even chew, it's like rubber. I almost threw up and tossed the $4 sandwich into trash. Very bad customer service when I came back to tell them about it they said I should've brought it back with me. Well ok, I wished them well and left and will never return to that place again. If you care about what you eat avoid this place by all means, they trying to save money on food and try to feed you garbage read more

Today I order from Warren kabob, and it is an excellent restaurant. I would definitely and have suggested it to all my friends

I called for a carry out, I am very disappointed !! The grape leaves were just barely so so. The hummus was terrible !! No Tahini or garlic. Workers looked Arabic but certainly don't know how to cook. My last visit. I will let them know. read more

Price was good , 6.99 for a sandwich combo and it was very good. They need more vegetables in the sand which but perhaps it was my fault I did not specify. I would go and eat here again, the garlic was very good as well as the homemade bread. read more

Great service and absolutely amazing Chicken Shwarma sandwich. And made in less than 4 minutes. Chicken perfectly seasoned. Sauce with the perfect tang and flavor. Pita bread perfectly thin to not distract the other flavors. Perfect amount of pickle. Perfectly rolled and wrapped to eat on the fly. And with a bottled water...less than $6. Amazingly perfect lunch. read more

Very good Middle Eastern food. Clean restaurant with exceptional service! I always go here with a group of friends to enjoy the party platters. A good variety of food on these party platters. These restaurants are veggie friendly and healthy. The waiters are NOT the annoying type that check on your every 10 seconds. They also refill your waters in time without being disruptive...qualities that I look for in a restaurant. I have ordered from Warren kabob multiple times for party trays and they are awlays a party pleaser. The food is always fresh and ready to eat. I highly recommend! read more
