I have mixed opinions about my experience with Carroll's Exterior Remodeling. In my case, they…read morewere great to work with when they were trying to get my business, but after they did, they fell into the stereotype of all the bad stories that you hear about roofers. They actually worked with my insurance company and were able to get a lot of the work covered under my homeowners policy. The crew showed up and finished everything in 2 days, and the roof looks great. The sales guy for the company informed me that because of the type of shingles they installed, they would contact my insurance agent and I would get a 20% discount on my homeowners insurance. That never happened. I confirmed with my insurance agent that there is a small discount, depending on the type of shingles used, but it's not 20%. He also told me that there was a class action suit for the type of shingles that they removed from my house and that he would get me a $1,500.00 payment from that class action suit. That never happened, and I suspect that there never was any class action suit to begin with. Every time I would call him, he would come up with some excuse for not submitting the form to the insurance company and the class action payment not being sent. I called the company to complain about the sales guy's actions, and they said they would look into it and get right back to me. That never happened. 6 months later, I've finally given up. Would I recommend this company? Probably not.
